百家被 "100 Good Wishes" Quilt from mama wong

Thank you mama wong for the quilt and looking forward another smaller pcs for my baby keith..:D Being pregnant quite a hassle when you have to drive to work everyday, one more month to go before baby keith arriving... I am so excited but yet nervous and scared... But I believe everything will be smooth and goes well... Happy 2012 and Happy Chinese New Year everyone..

"the meaning of "quilt", is pieces of clothes sew together, making a blanket. in Chinese tradition, this piece of specially make blanket, is for children, "borrowing" luck, health, wealth, fortune from others, so that the children grow up well. that is why, these are make of different pieces of clothes, from different person, each piece represent a person."

"百家被”一般上都由年长者缝制。目的是希望孩子们能够像老人一样平安，安康.

父母亲把收集回来的布料，整理一下，把不同颜色和不同形状的布块亲自用手工将它们慢慢缝制起来，再根据图案把一块块拼合起来，拼成百家布。最后将被里和被面縫合，然后裁合成被。

Updates: Thank u to Mama Wong, my mom purposely layan me and sew this 3 russian dolls patterned cushion cover for my stools...hehhe..nice huh compare to previous plain color only.
There will be another 3 cushion covers for changing purpose, maybe by this weekend mama wong will pass it all to me...love to mama wong..muackss
Grabbed this cozy small set up for coffee or tea corner during sale time and also my house xmas present! Happy that it place nicely at my house and this is also beginning of my lullabelle dreamland home cafe...hopefully later my dream come true- small and cozy little zakka cafe...

Got 2 lil guardian angels from metrojaya and roses pot from lovely lace, simply pot it on top of my shoe rack which beside the main entrance… seem nice right! Beautiful! It does cheer me days up when I am out from home and I do hope the beautiful angels bless all the tenant at home and also friends or families that come and visit me:D

Recently there is many things happening in my life…well, I do panic and feeling awfully down, but if I think in another angle, it might be a learning experience for me. I shall not be sad and should embrace it with a open heart and mind. It is very important for me to stay positive always as this is good for mini pat too… and during this period I do met some interesting friend too, like Hannah, she inspired me and gave me a lot of whole new perspective of life, and thanks to her, I got new direction what shall I do next and hopefully everything will be better after all.

Last Saturday I had Almighty Professional Soapmaking class at LullaBelle DreamLand and this is the 1st time I got to teach international student Cherly Chan which is from our neighbor country Singapore! I knew it may be common to some of our teachers or handmaker, but to me it is a little recognition in my soap making teaching line, it does give me encouragement and support to continue what I am passion at. Thank you student on day of Oct 22, 2011 – Cherly and Jelyn, you both are awesome!

farewell to nette my sweetie pie

This pics took last few weeks, I guessed is 5 or 6 october 2011, should be 5 october night then! Actually planned to blog about it when nette just left malaysia... but mama pat(me!) having some mood swing and busy with work this month..so things been delay and till now...

Out of sudden i missing having nette around me which we can hang out together, chat at office about what happening arounds and etc...but i believe time flies, after few more months( actually 10-11 months, writting in months sound faster) nette will be back and again we will be together again plus mini pat:) can't wait till the time arrive... let wait for the next year, I believe it will be a good day and good year starting now.:)

This is me now 21 weeks which I am officially 5 months pregnant now!! I can't wait till next year end February for my baby to be arrive! It is tiring, exhausted and nervous during pregnancy...eventhough i am excited about it but the long period of pregnant aren't easy at all, now i understand how my mommy felt and other mother's feeling...Salute to all the great mommy in the world...love u, to my mommy (mama wong)!

finally it look like small little hill

After 18/19 weeks and near 20 weeks, my tummy growing into small lil hill...*_* the small lil hill appear depend its mood and type of top or dress I wear...anyhow I am excited and happy to feel my tummy growing (it is sign of baby growing too) and I hope it can grow a lil bigger and nicer, so that i could take expecting pics for memories. Let wait for maybe 1 or 2 months my expecting pics shall come true!

pom pom for the home

Got the lovely pom pom as a gift from kim sista, and after sometime I decided to put it up on my dining wall… the outcome not bad huh?! Seem dreamy and party feel, maybe this can be presentable wall for my upcoming baby shower if held then… I didn’t use snail it with paku due to baby, so I just use fabric stickers that from pipit zakka store. It is quite firm up there except the big pink pom pom seem bit overweight and keep failing… I need to re-stick few times before it is really firm… the worst and final plan, I might as well just nail it then..huhuhu T_T.

Little update on my side, I been busying preparing some custom orders for soaps for wedding event on November, few breast milk orders and also almighty professional soapmaking class, everything still seem well to me and I am blessed.

Thank u god giving me lil baby and blissful life…I couldn’t ask more aside I do wish my hubby will be there always for me, it seem hard for him to be aside me for long, there are various reason… but is ok, this make me stronger and much more independent in handling obstacles and difficulty in life.

Anyhow today is Malaysia day and also my hubby Calvin’s birthday, I wishing him happiness, healthy and successful in his life.

lil gift i made for myself -mommy belly oil:)

I knew I been slack on blogging due to my pregnancy... and also my own handmade soap (I promise I will do my best to replenish all the out of stock soaps as soon as I could)... But today I got the inspiration to make my own stretch mark oil for myself and my cute belly.

This mommy belly oil, I beat if you buy from outside it will cost you a bomb, but if your house equipped with all the natural oils u can actually do it yourself. Little sharing of the mommy belly oil, it contains sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, shed butter, jojoba oil, calendula infused oil , rose geranium, sweet orange, lavender, frankincense, grapefruit and palmarosa.

Try and make yourself if you prefer more natural and safe product for your lovely skin and body. I hope this mommy belly oil will help me lighten some marks and prevent lines and unfavorable mark in future.

*Thanks to Michelle from kindersoap note me about the rose geranium...just note to myself after research- *Rose geranium essential oil is well tolerated by most individuals, but since it helps in balancing the hormonal system, care must be taken during pregnancy. So for those cannot take it please do not use in your DIY remedy oh!

Thanks to Celine! I am on happy feet mode now! She is one of my sweet friends; I am so glad that I got the autumn socks now. It is truly warmth and nice to prevent cracked heels during this unstable season in Malaysia. Aside her sweetness that gained lot of good friendship, she having a pair of amazing hand that sew socks dolls which her own handmade shop called Chiwawa Family. You can find lot of cute and interesting sock dolls like zebra, puppy, penguin and etc, all there lovely gift can be present to your loves one, friends or etc, beside that Celine do cater your request to customize socks doll based on your request too.
Today will be another cold night to me, but, I no longer afraid of the cold now because I got pair of happy sock for my happy feet!

I always wanted this for my lullabelle dreamland (name for my house), and to my surprised my good friend Beii made this and present it to me, I am really happy and excited to see it hang in front of my door. It makes my door really beautiful and dreamy feel!
Hope next time I found a companion for the mobile, I wish to put the companion(maybe a toy or kewpie doll) into the basket, so it can help me become the guardian angel for my home.
* Initially wish to put kewpie doll in the basket but I am worried it will stolen due to cuteness of the doll.

Lastly thank you to jasper’s mommy –Beii, thank you always being there and support me! Love u and huggies to u!
