The lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival 2011 has started to take shape. One familiar face that will not be at this year's EDC is Kaskade. Kaskade made the announcement yesterday via Facebook stating, "I feel honored to have been a part of history by performing at EDC the last 2 years. EDC is the largest, most influential and best EDM festival in the world (imo). I get asked a lot here on facebook if I will be back, sadly I will not be there this year."
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located on the outskirts of Las Vegas, will undergo a unique transformation as the Electric Daisy Carnival comes to town! Insomniac will transform this unique location into a whimsical festival environment complete with six areas of music, carnival rides, vendor village, interactive art installations and an array of other festival attractions. Pacha Ibiza is one of the label's biggest and most famous house club. Created in Ibiza in 1973, this little old finca has grown into the most dominant clubbing brand in the world, with the Ibiza venue still very much the driving force and jewel in the crown. Rain Nightclub is located on the casino level of the Palms Casino Resort, Rain combines performances by international headliners, an electrifying dance club, a private event facility and intimate enclaves in one dynamic, multi-sensory destination. Rain's entrance tunnel of gold-mirrored mosaic with color changing lights, fog, and sound hints at the energy level inside. At the entrance of the club stands an elevated staging area with multi-level plasma screens and state of the art DJ booth. An ultra-sleek interior boasts contemporary furnishings, distinctive blends of mosaic, terrazzo, glass and bamboo all set in a seductive color scheme of red, gold, black, purple, and orange. Lavish special effects throughout the club include intelligent lighting and an electrifying play of water, fog and pyrotechnics including three-foot fireballs above the dance floor. The independent 20-foot truss mechanisms are capable of traversing the room at incredible speeds. Luxurious design and state of the art technology blend together to create a dynamic tension and exciting sense of possibility.
Luxury private and VIP environments include a cabana level encompassing seven private cabanas, each accommodating 8-12 guests, and a large bar offering a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip.
