Paula Seling - Three New Albums for November

In November Paula Seling will release two new albums, one in English called "Believe" and one in Romanian called "Culeg Vise". The two albums are twins in different languages, because they share the same music most of the way through.

While it is very unique for a big label artist to perform such a feat it is extremely rare and unique for an independent artist to do it. Together the albums have 34 songs. To start, "Believe" will be available in the United States through our upcoming web store and arrangements are currently under way to make select music available for download. "Culeg Vise" will be available in Romania.

Paula is also completing a third new album titled "Paula Seling 1998 - 2008" that contains her most popular hits from the last decade. Included on that album are all of the favorites including Timpul, Ploaie in Luna Lui Marte, Promit, Seven Days and many others, 19 tracks in all. This Album will be made available world wide.

So it all comes together starting in the month of November with 53 songs being released. We will announce further specifics as the information becomes available.

On YouTube, there is a place where the Most viewed video's each month are highlighted. Paula Seling - Get Up Now has a chance of making it there before the month is up.

Huge American record companies spend thousands of dollars announcing a video's release date and build up all this hype to blast their video's to the top of the list, many of which are really exceptionally tasteless. The truth is, there are very few places where independent artists like Paula stand a chance against them.

I was born in the USA and I never knew about Eurovision until January of this year, I am 46. The truth is no one here knows anything real about Romania, Russia or any other eastern European country because the information is never published in anything. So this is it, this is your chance to put one of your own on the international map. if you are a Paula Seling Fan and you love her music you should know that YouTube judges popularity by four criteria. Rating a song highly, Adding a song to your favorites, comments a song has received and the number of times the video is viewed.

Now I am not asking you to drive up the view count, overrate the song or add it to your favorites when it isn't one. I am just trying to fill you in on how YouTube works and why Paula's exceptional music never seems to make it to the most popular list. I am also asking that if you have viewed Get Up Now and you like the song, please rate it and leave a comment in support of Paula or add it to your favorites.

YouTube adds all these comments and ratings up to determine a songs popularity. so even a song like Ploaie in luna lui Marte that has over 5000 views today, surprisingly, has only been rated 23 times and only 25 people claim it as a favorite. That is half of a percent of all views.

So my goal in writing this is to say, if you are a Paula Fan and you have a YouTube account, please don't forget to rate any song you like, leave a comment for the performer and add it to your favorites if it is one, because it is the only thing that counts to YouTube.

Take a good look at these songs and see if you can find music, or a video that is better than Get Up Now, because I can't and in fact if Get up now was on that page, I would think it would be at the top.

Get up now - is a YouTube "Most Viewed".

Get Up Now, reaches a new milestone. Last week a High Quality version of Get Up Now was uploaded to YouTube.

Today, because of a team effort by YouTube users; Ioanasandor, feienkde, and nuezita, Get Up Now has made it to the world stage. The video is now featured in the following locations:

Music : Indie & Alternative - Most Viewed (This Week) Rank: #89, Page 5
Music : Indie & Alternative - Top Favorites (This Week) Rank: #65, Page 4

It should also not be missed that the following people helped attain this goal by featuring, Commenting or Rating the video. viseaza, anabaias, bestiuta4, If I have missed anyone please let me know.

Please remember that as view count changes the position of the video can change.
The video will be more than one week old after tomorrow so after that it will no longer appear on these pages.

Paula Seling Fan Club - Where next for Paula?

Paula is currently working hard on the "CD 2008" album release. There are many things to do since it is just a few hard working people. Paula is currently mixing a song called "I Believe".

Many songs are finished but the titles are still being refined so at this point we can only call them song a, b and c. The one that is named is a song called "Promise" which is a new version of an old tune that was a favorite, Promit.

Several songs that were to appear on the Lost Album (Albumul Pierdut) have been moved to and consolidated with the songs on this album to create a first, this album is Pure Paula. Paula is the singer songwriter with a few small exceptions so this album represents a new direction, writing, singing and producing music.

Hello and welcome.

The goal of this blog is to link up fans of Paula Seling from all over the world.

There are currently two authors for this Blog, Ioana Sandor and Steve Barrett. Ioana speaks Romana as her first language and speaks English as a second language. I will be administrating this blog, anyone can leave anonymous comments but all comments are currently moderated.
