Who Me?

2020-07-24T05:00:00.000-04:00

Do you ever see on FB when they say 'Caption This' and give you a picture of two?

To me these two pictures say, "Who Me?"

The Messy Look

2020-07-23T05:00:00.000-04:00

What do you think?

Over My Shoulder

2020-07-22T05:00:00.000-04:00

We were hanging out on the back deck.

Everyone had a chair except Cooper.

He doesn't like to be on the floor. I think he feels like he's missing out.

So I put him up on the top of the hot tub cover.

He liked it up there where he could see over everything.

One thing he didn't do... was lay down and relax.

Meeting Dolly About 6 Years Ago

2020-07-21T05:00:00.000-04:00

This was not long after my friend Lisa in Maine got a new dog. We visited for the weekend to meet her. She was a perfect addition to this friendship.

From Left to right this is Dolly (the new girl), Buffy (we called her Cooper's girlfriend) and Cooper.

Don't Go Mama!

2020-07-20T05:00:00.000-04:00

I was going to the chiropractor so I left Cooper home because he wouldn't like to see me getting adjusted.

It's hard to see him, but he's in the window watching me go.

See him now?

'10 First Solo Camping

2020-07-19T05:00:00.000-04:00

My very first time ever going anywhere by myself was thanks to Cooper. My boy, my companion, my service dog, MY HERO!

We rode to CT to stay in a camp ground alone for 2 nights alone, then Jesse came to stay for 2 more nights.

Cooper was happy to have brought one of his favorite toys.

'09 - First Bike Vacation

2020-07-18T05:00:00.000-04:00

This was our first vacation on motorcycles. We went to western NY. Almost as far west as you can go. It takes over 9 hours to get there with short gas/pee stops.

Cooper showed he was a true biker dog with his willingness to participate with everything that came along during this trip.

Colorized

2020-07-17T05:00:00.000-04:00

This was a day some friends came to visit.

I liked the picture but making it black and white and colorizing everyone in it makes it REALLY cool.

Rather Hang Out On The Bike

2020-07-16T05:00:00.000-04:00

See how sleepy Cooper looks? He's ready for a nap.

He's happy to just hang out on the bike on a cloudy day. If the sun was out he wouldn't want to be in full sun.

2020-07-15T05:00:00.000-04:00

This was a fun memory to come upon because it was only about 5 months after we moved into the house we love so much today.

My lap is still one of his favorite places to sit.

A Cooper Fan Memory

2020-07-14T05:00:00.000-04:00

This came up a couple months ago in my memories on FB.

I collect memories to post at this point because since my accident we don't really do anything interesting enough to write about.

The Reason I Blog

2020-07-13T05:00:00.000-04:00

In 2011 I was able to meet my writing mentor Becky Blanton. She was the person who had me start this blog and she wrote an article about me and Cooper for Dog Fancy Magazine. We're also friends on FB. This was her post from our visit where we stayed with her over night.

There were more pictures later, but this was the first one.

Michigan Memory - Mackinaw KOA

2020-07-12T05:00:00.001-04:00

Since it was going to rain, we rented a cabin.

Comfortable and dry is all we need after riding all day.

Michigan Memory - Exhausted After Riding

2020-07-11T05:00:00.001-04:00

Look how cute my boy is. I wish we could be on my bike now. I'm not working this summer due to my car accident, but I can ride!

Memory - Michigan

2020-07-10T05:00:00.000-04:00

During our motorcycle adventures since 2011, we have colored in states on a patch we wear on our riding vests.

This was the trip where we got to color in Michigan and Wisconsin. Excellent feeling.

Parade 2

2020-07-09T05:00:00.000-04:00

Here's another parade picture where I was able to crop and enlarge a picture of me and Cooper.

Look how he was looking around me right at the camera.

How smart is he???

Parade 1

2020-07-08T05:00:00.000-04:00

We really miss the parades this year. This picture was taken by a friend of mine from way up on a hill across the street from the Plymouth Rock as we passed by.

I cropped the picture to see if we could get better detail.

Not too bad.

Patriotic We

God Bless America!

2020-07-06T05:00:00.000-04:00

This was a fun day.

We celebrated 4th of July at the Plymouth waterfront for the whole day.

My RV Birthday Party

2020-07-05T07:59:00.000-04:00

My birthday this year was so much fun. We had a cookout at my house then as many could fit piled into the RV to go for ice cream.

Me, My daughter and her boyfriend.

My son and his girlfriend.

Their kids.

And of course... Cooper.

I'll be glad to do this again soon.

Parades Are Canceled

2020-07-04T05:00:00.000-04:00

It's very sad to me that all the parades are canceled today.

We should celebrate our freedom together.

Cooper loves parades... Honestly he thinks it's all in his honor!

Please celebrate in your way and keep our freedoms precious to you.

Partners For Life

2020-07-03T05:00:00.000-04:00

This is us. Candid and real. We're natural partners in this life. I'm in love!

Face Book Memories 4

2020-07-02T05:00:00.000-04:00

I love to come across a great picture like this. My happy boy with a great smile and looking right at the camera.

I have NO IDEA who took this picture.

FaceBook Memories 3

2020-07-01T05:00:00.000-04:00

I have no idea where we were going. Maybe home.

I have no idea who took the picture. Maybe my son.

I do know Cooper is REALLY CUTE!

FaceBook Memories 2 Field Of Honor

2020-06-30T05:00:00.000-04:00

These pictures come up all the time on my FaceBook Memories.

Leave it to Cooper to find the camera and pose all on his own.
