PBB Teen Edition Season 4 Audition Dates and Venue!

Pinoy Big Brother has just announced the start of auditions for the PBB Teen Edition Season 4.

Teens aged 13-17 years old are invited to be part of the Philippines’ biggest and most-happening reality show.

The first of the series of global and regional auditions, as announced, will be held in London on December 11.

Teen auditionees must be accompanied by an older relative that’s 20 years of age, or older, during the audition.

“Kuya” is expected to open the PBB House to the new teen housemates Summer of 2012.

Just yesterday, three housemates bid goodbye to their new friends, as the popular votes did not work in their favor. Ann, Carson, Angelo, Tricia and Yen got another week and another shot at winning the game. Unfortunately, such luck was not shared by three others. April was the first of the Teenternational housemates to leave the house, while Yong and Jovic of the PInoy housemates were permanently out of the running.
It was the first loss for the Teenternational housemates, which left them quite emotional. Just a couple of weeks inside Kuya’s house was apparently enough time for them to get close to each other, and April’s exit was truly a painful experience for them, despite knowing that someone was really leaving the group. Sophia couldn’t help but cry, missing her temporary sister. Jenny shared that April, despite her strong personality, was actually the group’s caring “mom”. From the Villa, Yong and Jovic were also missed, especially by Angelo who considered them his closest buddies. Even Yen shared that it was unfortunate to have Jovic leave just when he was becoming close to the group already.

Of course, as sad as they were for losing some of their friends, the look of relief could not be erased from those who were saved. Ann and Carson were both very thankful for being given another shot. “I may not be Filipino by blood,” shared Carson. “but I can be Filipino by heart.” Tricia, the consistent nominee, found comfort in the thought that people in the outside world appreciated her efforts, resulting in her being saved again. Yen, whose safety was announced last, couldn’t hid e her smile, too. Only Angelo, who had to say goodbye to his best friends, had to be further consoled by the boys and reminded that he should not feel guilty for being saved.

Unfortunately, it was exactly that kind of sorry talk that got Angelo nominated yet again. The others felt that he would be happier outside the house. Ivan was nominated, too, because of jokes that were getting out of line and being hot-headed. Tricia remains a favorite, nominated for being messy with her things, saying untruthful stories and being “maarte”. They felt that instead of improving, she was actually reverting back to her old ways of being obnoxious and immature. Kazel and Yen made the list as well, the first for not treating everyone equally and the latter for being easily distracted.

From the other team, three made it to the nomination list: Carson, Richard and Sophia. The Teenternational housemates felt that Carson was not trying to change his ways, as much as they trried to talk to him. He still got mad easily and was difficult to get along with. Some felt that Richard only made an effort to move when the nominations were nearing, getting him one nomination slot. Sophia, the baby of the group, seemed to be a liability instead of an asset especially during tasks. Most of the housemates thought her too young and immature to take the tasks seriously.

Grabeng kulitan talaga 'to nila Joe at Yen! Matapos sa hapagkainan, eto na naman sila naghihilahan sa may door to the confession room and Villa! Kase naman 'tong si Joe, tinutukso si Yen tungkol kay Jack. "Halika, puntaha natin si Jack, baka di pa kumakain ng almusal. Gusto mo lutuan ko?"
Si Yen naman daw "wapakels!" O talagang nahihiya lang kase diba, know naman niya na type siya ni Jack? Baka sabihin nilalandi pa niya eh!

Kuya punishes the teens again!

The difficulty of being an adolescent (aside from raging hormones) is that one is in limbo, trying so hard not to be treated as a child but not quite ready to be an adult yet. Because of continuous disregard of the house rules, Kuya decided to step in again and dish out some punishments that would not be easily set aside. As promised, no one was exempt from the discipline. The Villa teens had to wear robot-like outfits that hindered their movement, especially eating. The Apartment teens were deprived of sight, having to wear painted goggles.

After some timer, Kuya allowed the teens a chance to be free from their punishments. The PInoy housemates had to sneak in the Apartment and get the suitcases of the three nominees without being caght by the Teenternationals. This proved to be quite a feat, as the Teenternational housemates sensed their presence and ttried their best to stop them. After two waves, lots of maneuvers and Patrick’s bloody foot, the Villa teens successfully completed their task. On the other hand, the Teenternational housemates had to play the classic kiddie “bring me” game, with Kuya asking for things such as pillows from the boys’ bedroom in the Villa. In the end, they too were successful. From their comsequences, the teens learned the importance of respecting the rules, understanding that it is essential to moving on as adults.

April, Jovic and Yong set out to the outside world!

April Sun, the Cantonese Girl of Hongkong, was first of the Teenternational bedspacers to be evicted from this season, with only 23.33% of the save evict votes. She came last after Carson, who had 24.13%, and Ann with 52.54%.
Strong-willed and always eager to get the tasks and challenges excellently, her presence would surely be missed by her fellow teen housemates inside the Apartment. When asked about what she learned from his Teen Clash experience, following Big Brother's rules was her ultimate lesson learned.

Meanwhile, Yong Gopez (The Boy Breadwinner of Pampanga) and Jovic Susim (The Diplomatic Son of Albay) were also evicted from the Villa house earlier. Garnering 11.60% and 8.54% save votes respectively, they finished last in the tally after Yen's 17.05%, Angelo's 20.25% and Tricia's 42.49%.

Yong was consistently both strong and enthusiastic during tasks, challenges and daily social exchange. He even showcased his musical talent by composing the endorsement song for the Pinoy teens' ClaShirts. On the other hand, Jovic's exhibition of being funny and attempts of getting closer with his teen housemates have also marked a spot, though he only managed a short stint inside the house.

"What I'm taking away from this experiences are the friendships I made while being inside the house," was what Jovic's last message while Yong explained why he got tearful after hearing his eviction: "Nitong last week po, binigay ko na ang lahat sa hulahoop task. Kahit na naramdaman kong mae-evict na ako, ginawa ko pa rin ang best ko (This last week, I gaveit my all during the hulahoop task. Even though I felt that I was going to be evicted, I still gave my best)." That's the spirit of a true teen housemate!

Tricia, Carson remain the most-talked-about teen housemates within their houses!

Ever since Tricia's entrance into the Villa house in the second week of this season, most of the Pinoy teens have felt aloof towards her too-loud personality. Sadly, this hasn't changed much even after a month and over. The boys, especially, had a number of complaints about their youngest teen housemate.
One time at the dining table, Patrick started off by asking if anyone has noticed about Tricia's towel that has been just dumped inside a box for three days already. Joe and Ivan both acknowledged this and filled in a comment about Tricia being young and a bit careless of her things. "She's cute... but disgusting," said Joe. "Paano kaya 'pag nalaman ni James? (What if James finds that out about her?)" Ivan also couldn't help but add how Tricia's untidiness would lessen her girl points.

On the other hand, the Teenternational bedspacers had their own issue to take care of. They have been noticing Carson's power-hungry attitude during tasks and challenges, at the same time, his secrecy of his feelings towards them. During bedtime, Bret couldn't help himself and just confronted Carson in order for the matter to start being cleared up. "I want you to be happy, too," he said. "We're all foreigners here; don't leave yourself out from us." Jack, who was listening to their conversation from his bed, also supplied with his own words of consolation: "We're here for you and we're willing to help you." Taken aback though still calm, Carson wasn't able to come up with a proper reply and explanation.

Tricia and Carson look like they have to iron a couple of things out with their fellow teen housemates. Hapontastic girls enter the Big Brother house with special tasks!

Special visits from local celebrities are nothing new inside the house so Big Brother thought a spin-off to these drop-bys would do the trick for his teen housemates. First, he let Empress, who stars as the female hunchback lead in "Rosalka," enter the Apartment in full character. She brought with her this special box, wherein the things she needed for her makeover task were packed. The Teenternational bedspacers were of course surprised with the never-before-seen visitor but still tried to make Rosalka feel welcome.
Meanwhile, as much as she would want to socialize, Rosalka didn't have much time to spend so she then proceeded onto choosing her make-arist contender who was April. Both of them had to rev up Jenny and Sophia's look and have the boys rate the improvement on these girls. After a couple of brushing and blending, the two Korean girls were set to be presented to the boys, whom were given high scores ranging from 8-10 except for Ryan who said Jenny looked like him in her make-up. Not actually offended, Jenny still acted to throw her shoe at her most avid annoyer.

Aside from Rosalka's makeover task, she also had another one in which she had to give her special gift to one of the imported housemates. She chose Bret, handing over to him a box with haircutting scissors and a photo of her real-life self (in other words, Empress's portrait). Bret, in turn, thanked her and accepted the gift, but upon seeing the picture, he couldn't believe that Rosalka and the girl on the photo (Empress) were one!

On the other side of the house which is Villa, Maja Salvador and Double Up Big Winner Melai Cantiveros were also sent in by Big Brother. They came in disguised in floral overcoats with fencing masks over their faces. The Pinoy teens were equally shocked as the Apartment teens as soon as they saw their special visitors. But this shock only grew when the two unknown persons started gathering them in the kitchen area, where they attended to the special tasks given to them by Big Brother. Maja and Melai cleaned Yen's ears, put powder on Tricia's face, rubbed Joe's arms with lemon squeeze and plucked Jovic's eyebrows. Good thing the teen housemates were only able to identify the two celebrities after they have accomplished their tasks, otherwise Big Brother would have punished them!

Nakasix years din naman daw kase siyang sakristan... O sige Yong, try ka muna ni Kuya dyan sa bahay niya ha? Tignan nga natin kung gaano ka ka-"saint-like!"

Friendships get warmer inside the Big Brother house!

The Big Brother house may be divided into two compartments, the Villa and the Apartment, but this doesn't stop the respective housemates to reach out to each other. Everybody's a long-time witness, from the special tasks of the Caucasian Boys down to the exchange of prisoners between the two teams, their connection to and with each other has indeed come a long way.

But that long way has even reached a further step, brought about by the naturally surging hormones of our teen housemates! For instance, during one hot afternoon (how apt!), the Pinoy and Teenternational teens exchanged banterings especially between Yen, Kazel and Richard and Jack. It was Tricia's shoutout to James that started it, in turn making the Korean Boys fish around Yen and Kazel's "feelings" for them. "Type mo ba si Richard (Is Richard your type?)," yelled Jack to Kazel, to which she replied with a hearty yes. Richard, to pay back Jack's effort, also asked Yen if she liked Jack. Yen, probably being genuine and nice, answered yes, but of which Jack had not much of an assurance. Oops, Jack, we don't think that's the correct way to appreciate a girl's effort! It's a slime-y afternoon for the girl housemates!

Big Brother is still in his hula phase this week for once again on today's Uber, the hoops remain the stars! This time, the girls were the ones given the chance to show their stellar skills in swinging those circles. The Pinoy teen girls and the female bedspacers were housed in the activity area, where they were to play the game of hula race. Tricia and April went on for the first round, competing against each other in shooting the hoops through the triangles set meters apart. The thing was, each player should make sure she's ahead of the game, otherwise it's the slime punishment for her! And unfortunately in Tricia-versus-April's round, April got stumped by Tricia and had to endure the sticky fluid come down her body as she did a set of hulas.

Will the Villa teen girls appreciate Tricia's lead for their team or will they treat this as natural, seeing as she has got the athlete's spirit in her after all? On the other hand, will April's loss dishearten her fellow mates and slow down their performances as well? Oh, well, it's just another game! Kasambahays’ identities, revealed!

Kuya roused Devon and Angelo late in the night and asked them to deliver some more bags of laundry to their house helpers who were in the Apartment. It was then that they realized the truth, but had to stare helplessly after their own mothers. The two returned to the Confession Room in tears, confused at the game Kuya was playing. Despite not having seen his mom for two years, Angelo knew that hers was a familiar figure. “Naramdaman ko pong mama ko ‘yun,” he sobbed. “Miss na miss ko na po ang mama ko. Gusto ko po siya makausap.” Kuya confirmed their guesses and revealed that it was their mothers who were doing the chores of both houses. Though Nanay Lynn and Nanay Inday already were employed as house helpers in the outside world, it still was a different thing knowing that they were working in the house of peers. Kuya reminded Devon of Angelo of something that governed a lot of what went on in his house: “Lahat ng nangyayari ay may rason na malalaman sa takdang panahon.” Taking it a step further, the two had to keep the secret to themselves or risk throwing away everything their mothers worked for.

Devon and Angelo chose to keep quiet about what they knew, but tried to lessen their moms’ chores somehow. Angelo headed to the kitchen sink and scrubbed away, vowing not to sleep until he finished washing everything. Devon hid the secret better, keeping a straight face and only allowing herself hidden glances towards her mom when she came over to clean the next day. Yen and her decided to pick up some things to help lessen the clutter around the house.

It was such an effort to hide the truth from the rest of the housemates, but little did they know that the others actually had a pretty good idea of what was going on already. The boys, especially, figured out that the only reason Angelo would be so distracted was if it involved his mom. The wrinkled hands and meals that tasted like one a mom would make were the clues that supported their theory. Knowing this, they also made an effort to clean up and even kept the moms company as they washed their clothes. “Gusto ko pong agawin ‘yung nilalabhan,” shared Angelo. In fact, he couldn’t bear it any longer and talked to his mom, asking about the family. With difficulty, Nanay Inday steeled herself against it and kept silent. At the most, she shed some tears in silence.

Nanay Lynn seemed the stronger one, but her emotions gave way in a physical manner. Devon lent a hand to her mom as well, though she made sure to call her “tita”. While hanging clothes, Nanay Lynn suddenly slipped and fell, which had the housemates rushing over to help her. As it turned out, her blood pressure shot up at the sight of her daughter. According to Devon, her mom’s work already made her weak, and Kuya decided to send Nanay Lynn to the hospital just to be sure.

Kuya broke the news to Devon, who was already worried because of her mom’s fall. He also informed Nanay Inday of what happened, and while he offered to have some housemates sleep by her, she opted to stay be herself. Still, Kuya decided to reveal the true identity of their supposed house helpers to the three Teenternational nominees. To help out, April, Ann and Carson would take shifts in assisting Nanay Inday.

Though Nanay Lynn was stable already, will she still be able to finish the challenge and win the college scholarship for Devon? Will Devon and Angelo be able to focus on their weekly task, knowing the truth? Will the Teenternationals bag another Teen Big Night slot, or will it finally go to the Pinoy housemates? In exchange for Yong's share of experience, si Angelo naman eh nagkwento tungkol sa college life niya as an iskolar ng bayan. Sinimulan niya ito ng pagsabi na growing up, hindi daw siya naexpose masyado sa pagpapapicture2x.
Nung nagcollege siya, parang nashock daw siya sa pagkacamwhorage ng mga college mates niya! "Picture dito, picture doon," sabi niya. Kumusta naman ngayon, Angelo? Nasa loob ka ng bahay ni Kuya at hindi lang todo kodakan dyan kundi pati na rin video!

Ganda ng usapan nila Yong at Angelo ngayon sa bedroom - tungkol sa buhay! Alam naman natin kung ano ang pinaggalingan at pinagdaanan na ng dalawa nating teen housemates, diba? Pero ang maganda dito, wala namang self-pity na nagaganap sa conversation nila. Si Yong nga, sineshare ang advice na matutong mag-ipon ng mabuti. Natutunan niya ito nung "namulat daw siya nung first year high school" siya at nagsimula ng tumulong sa pamilya.

If high school was fun, then college is like 20 times better. Hmm, how about being inside Kuya's house, Bret? How exactly fun is it to be there?

Hindi dahil nagpapacute sila kay Fretzie, pero dahil inaasar nila 'to! Hahaha may pagkamalamya kase magsalita tong si Fretzie (eh dalagang Pilipina) eh, pero sabi nila Joe at least marunong na daw siya magsalita ngayon.
