Kepler Station is an active Star Trek PBB sim. Our interests include character development, joint posts, drama, science, comedy and long walks on candlelit beaches on the holosuites. The station itself is set in the arse end of charted space in the Delta Quadrant and specialises in science. The marine detachment is expanding and we're plotting to launch our first subsim, dedicated to exploring the unknown!

A conundrum: New RPGs rarely last long at all (If they even get started), so you could waste all your time creating a character to the GMs specification. Old RPGs have an enormous amount of history that you have to learn to even get worked into them… but then if it doesn’t work out, it’s again, a waste of that time.

The best kind of RPG to join, is one that’s well established, but restarting. A group that’s been around for ages, rock solid and well established as a game, but none of the worries about learning the history or working yourself into the plot. The plot hasn’t started yet! I run an Original Fantasy game that I founded in 2000 and since then has NEVER had a single dead month. We just passed our birthday and are 9 years old! We are an active, friendly, welcoming group who would love to see new blood! If you’ve ever read or been familiar with Dragonlance, Pern, or Forgotten Realms, then you will have a place in this group. We combine any fantasy elements that the group desires. Elves, Werewolves, vampires, drow… you name it, they are here.

Pangea is a world of infinite possibilities. Originally based off Anne McCaffery’s Pern, we’ve moved well beyond our roots in the last few years, and embraced most concepts found in the fantasy realm at some time or another into what we think is a unique and original setting. We don’t like to constrain ourselves with too many rules and guidelines. We’re here to play and have fun. If there’s a fantasy character you’ve always wanted to play but just wouldn’t fit, well, they’ll probably fit here! We have Dragon Riders, Griffon Riders, Unicorns and Pegasus, elves and werewolves, vampires, and there’s nothing saying your character has to be human. We’ve had players play Dragons and mirth drakes. The only limit we have is your imagination. With that said though, we do try to keep power levels reasonable.

Right now, we’ve stopped roleplay and we’re all resubmitting bios. The history of the game never happened, so no studying needed. The plot will start soon, but there’s plenty of time to get worked in. We also have dragon eggs on the sands, and lots of high ranking positions are available. Interested? Jacmus Prime, the RPG that first began in 2002 as an offshoot from Yahoo Chat role-playing has re-opened. Played in its own reliable chat servers and forums, Jacmus Prime is a geofictional role-play game where choice is highly regarded.

Players can actively participate in the world building of Jacmus Prime through wiki page submissions and through the stories they weave around their characters and imaginations. The execution of the game (through popular consensus) is similar to free form story telling, though there are some loose textual and combat guidelines to promote fairness. The style of play is developed through improvised writing with players taking the part of characters.

Players and their characters have the choice to create their own story, to make their own decisions. In this, we allow our players to choose what is acceptable in role-play and what isn't.

One of the aims of Jacmus-Prime is not to limit the imagination or creativity of the player. Relying upon an honesty system the guidelines for magic and powers are loosely based and encourage responsible character development.

Our game setting is medieval fantasy and we welcome players with characters from other settings, requesting only that they are adjusted to suit JP's themes and loose guidelines.

Traditionally our game has had a strong chat platform with quests and campaigns involving a myriad of players and their characters that have been written into the history of the world.

Redwood Academy is publicly known as a school for gifted students, emphasizing the arts, athletics and the like. The students attend regular classes in the local area and board the school for their additional studies. The local area is city called Canterville. A medium sized relatively close to San Francisco, Canterville is large enough to provide several areas of interest such as the Pinewood Mall, several movie theaters (including a classic drive in that shows all sorts of cheesy b movies and a art house cinema that shows pretentious foreign films for the Goth crowd). There’s a few teen clubs, the typical squats and hang out, arcades, gaming/comic store (The Guardhouse), even a couple of gangs. For the sun worshippers there’s the beach which sports some nice waves and skiing within a couple of hours. There’s wilderness for the nature lovers as well, with a small national park not far and lots of undeveloped land for hiking. In short, Canterville is just large enough for small town kids to feel out of place and big city kids to affect boredom.

What the world doesn’t know is that Redwood’s students are gifted in ways most cannot imagine. They are Specials, humans being born with powers and abilities once thought legendary. Redwood Academy was formed to assist these young people with learning how to control and harness their gifts for their own safely and well being as well as for good of mankind. Formed through efforts of Professor Douglas Moreau, one of the foremost experts about Specials and their development, Redwood Academy exists as a refuge and training facility for these special youths.

Redwood Academy is Teen Champions campaign focusing in the development of the first generation of super powered mutants. Player Characters will be students in the first class of Redwood Academy a unique school for Specials, the codename for superhuman mutants. The character’s should be heroic or at least of a positive bent though troubled backgrounds, social problems and other factors are not prohibited and rounded characters’ encouraged. The power level and mood of the game is somewhere between Heroes and the New Mutants. Knowledge of the Hero System is not necessary.

Hello, first of all I would like to say thanks to the owners/GM’s/Mods of these ads groups that put the time and effort into running them. You make the life of forum owners easier having your services available.

Alright, so my name is Candi and I was just informed by my GM in a GeoCities forum that I was a part of for a year and a half that GeoCities is closing and all the forums will be gone. Sadness right?! So instead of transferring the files and stories over to a paid domain he has opted to actually as he put it “Take a break” so that left me a little lost.

Again, Sadness, right?

So I have thought about it and have decided to open an adult group for Erotic Musings. The stories can be really anything that the players heart desires, the only requests I make are thusly:

o All players are old enough to join the Military (18 here in the USA)
o All stories are original creations only, nothing based on a book, comic, cartoon, toy, television show, movie etx (I think you get the point)
o No celebrity stories
o You need to be active. I figure it like this, this group will be a lot of down and dirty erotic fiction which equates to porn. Porn isn’t free so consider writing inside of the forum and activity as your form of payment.
o Along this same vein, if you are writing a story in the forum you have really need to reply to tags in 48 hours or let the admin and your partner know what’s up (Yes folks, there are PM buttons to use!)
o I know that this likely goes without saying, but you never know. This board is in English, so please only post in English.
o The types of characters that are allowed are whatever you can create. Be it a Superhero, Mutant, or a Victorian Lord – It’s all there for the taking, just grab it and let your fingers tell the story!
o Spell check: Please use it.
o Two things that are seriously not allowed on the board:
 Under 18 characters in any sexual act
 Bestiality (As defined by human & animal sexual encounters)

The year is 2383. The situation for the Federation and galaxy is very grave. A group who calls themselves,'Nirvannah', has gotten control of key elements of Romulan and Cardassian Empires and may already have taken control of these governments. The Cardassian Empire has secretly (but not to us and our operatives ;o)) rebuilt its military and PSYOPS infrastructure They are both poised for war and formidable in their own right.

Information for other races is less clear as to how far this group has gone to gain control. This is a well planned and coordinated conspiracy. We suspect the strings are being pulled by this one group that may be answering to some yet undiscovered race that has the resources necessary and some desire to pit the different governments against each other. We have not been able to figure out yet how all ofthis is begin funded or why.

At present, a violation of treaty and other things have occurred...

This was deliberately done to engage the Federation in an all out war.War has not been declared on our side as our diplomats are trying hardto pretend there was no violation of treaty to forestall it and get more units ready and deployed. As many casualties, including civilians,were incurred on our side, this position will be difficult to sustain.

This was all instigated by Nirvannah with members placed or controlled in key positions in the governments of different worlds.

This is where Pandora's Box comes in to meet this threat and destroy it.

Pandora's Box is tasked with a number of specific objectives and targets with respect to removing these threats.

Pandora is part of Shadow Operations. This is where Special,Psychological, Temporal and other Operations converge. If we do our jobs right no one knows we were there and there will be no record ofour intervention in the history books for anything past, present, or future.

The Faust Chronicles is a small low powered campaign with skilled investigators thrust into deadly situations. Centered in London, the team will travel through out the UK, possibly to other countries with a strong possibility of crossovers in the future. The focus will be on character development, how the characters cope with constant exposure to corrupting influences, and character interaction, perhaps more so than other campaigns.

System and Pace: The Faust Chronicles is first and foremost a collaborative piece of fiction, not a game. We will not be using any specific game system to build characters or adjudicate scenes. It's all about the story, the flow and the characters.

Due to my own personal time constraints the official pacing of the game will be slow, at best I can only commit to one official game post a week. The players may post as little or as much as they like, you'll have as much creative control to drive the story as I do.
