Left 4 Dead

Left for dead is a first person shooter, co-operative survival video game. The game is about 4 people (it's where the 4 in the title came from I think), called the survivors, they are Francis, a tattoo-covered biker, Zoey, a college student and horror movie enthusiast, Louis, a junior systems analyst in his company's IT department, and Bill, a former Green Beret and a Vietnam veteran. The survivors are armed with various weapons and explosive.

A game like Counter Strike, but instead of human terrorist, the opposing team is a set of undead. They are the Boomer, Smoker, Hunter, and the Tank! There is one passive female infected called the Witch.

The Boomer, a bloated Infected whose vomit and bile, blinds the survivors and attract the horde to attack those with bile.

The Smoker ensnares survivors with its long tongue.

The Hunter, my favorite among the infected, can pounce on Survivors from a great distance.

The Tank, has a large body, with its name, the most powerful and difficult to kill.

In the game, the survivors must go to the point where they can find rescue and must defend themselves while waiting for it. Obviously, the Infected must kill the survivors. What I find about this game when I played it was, there was actually 4 players in both teams, so that would be 8 players in all. In our situation, I have many friends playing this game, and some of them could not join in the game because only 8 are allowed to play. I think, thats the disadvantage of this game. It has limited slots for players. But I can say, this game is cool and exciting, you should try this.

Just like the Mario 64, Mario in Galaxy gets stars. The difference is that Mario will get stars in space. He travels in space and planets to get stars for their spaceship. A new adventure for you and Mario. You'll be traveling the space in search for your lovable princess and defeat the evil Bowser.

The premise for Mario Galaxy begins in fairly well-worn territory. Mario receives a note from his beloved Peach to come to the castle, for she has a special "gift" for him. He arrives, only to walk straight into chaos as Bowser and son arrive in a fleet of airships and use a giant UFO to pluck the Princess' castle right out of the ground. Mario gives chase, but is unable to rescue her before the fearsome twosome jet off into space. This all certainly sounds par for the course, but it's where Mario ends up that gives Mario Galaxy its own flavor. Mario eventually hooks up with a creature called a luma, from a race that looks like some kind of cross between an invincibility star and a headless chicken. The lumas are led by an enigmatic woman named Rosalina, who lives with them on a crazy spaceship called the comet observatory. Mario learns that Bowser has made off with a gaggle of power stars used to power the observatory. To reach Bowser's hideout, Mario has to travel to all the various galaxies in the universe to collect as many power stars as he can in order to power the ship back up, fly to the center of the universe, rescue the princess, and set everything right again.

Just as the success of the Ragnarok Online, another game has come, Ragnarok Online 2: The Gate of the world created by Gravity Corp. of South Korea. The game is based on Norse mythology.

Its plot: The year 1000 L.C is approaching. One thousand years prior, a terrible destruction took place, and the world was saved by St. Lif, son of Baldr. Roughly twenty years earlier, a destructive war took place between Normans of the east and west, but there has recently been peace. Strange things have begun happening, however; the dark wanderers Dimago have awoken, and the Ellr have left their land of Alfheim to investigate the Mother Tree's silence.

Another cool MMORPG that lots of gamers will be playing. Like the first Ragnarok Online, it will be another big hit I think. I too was a player of Ragnarok Online before.
