Syncing with Server and Laptop using Omnia

I have an Omnia and am using activesync to sync between my phone and server at work. I just bought a netbook running Windows Home so I cannot syncronize my laptop with my server either through VPN or an ethernet connection.

What I'd like to do is use my omnia as my go between. I'd like to set up an activesync connection between my omnia and my netbook. The thinking is that changes from my server side will go to my Omnia and then when the omnia is connected to the netbook, the netbook's calendar, inbox etc will be up to date. The hope is that I can then work offline on the netbook, resync with the omnia and let the omnia resync with my server.

The initial question I have is what is the best way to start this (assuming I can do it.) I already have a server and omnia sync'd. I an old exported .pst on the netbook and I'm afraid if I initiate the relationship, the netbook's data will then overwrite my omnia data which will then overwrite my server and I'll have a mess. Same problem I see it if I delete all the netbook outlook data before the sync if the sync works from netbook to omnia.

I did just do an export of my work outlook data to a .pst so I can recover if anything drastic happens.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me in working through this.
