Change of syllabus for 4th year

Check out the revised syllabus of 4th year for the B.tech students.

The students are required to undergo Industrial Training or Institutional Project Work of duration not less than 4 months in a reputed organization or concerned institute. The students who wish to undergo industrial training, the industry chosen for undergoing the training should be at least a private limited company. The students shall submit and present the mid-term progress report at the Institute. The presentation will be attended by a committee. Alternately, the teacher may visit the Industry to get the feedback of the students.
The final viva-voce of the Industrial Training or Institutional Project Work will be conducted by an external examiner and one internal examiner appointed by the Institute. External examiner will be from the panel of examiners submitted by the concerned institute approved by the Board of Studies in Engg. & Technology. Assessment of Industrial Training or Institutional Project Work will be based on seminar, viva-voce, report and certificate of Industrial Training or Institutional Project Work obtained by the student from the industry or Institute. The internal marks distributions for the students who have undergone Industrial Training consist of 50 marks from the industry concern and 100 marks by the committee members consisting of faculty members of concerned department of the parent institute. The teachers engaged for Institutional Project work shall have a workload of 2 hours per group (at least 4 students) per week.

The Much awaited Placements season is back...and guess what !! PDMites are rockin it this tym...

After Success in the Off-Campus Placement Drive at BMIT , Sonepat...Where a good number of CSE and ECE 7th Semester students got Selected in Infosys....The latest news stated the placement success at Chandigarh where a student got selected in the Techie giant ORACLE.

The other biggies that showed up in the placement drive are APPLE INC and MICROSOFT.

We hope and wish luck to other PDMites !!

"PDM's Lecturer Abducted "

PDMCE's sports day was interrupted due to an unusual happening that took place today.
A young lecturer of PDM Engineering college in Bahadurgarh was kidnapped from outside the college today. The victim Mohit Hooda was coming to college in his car when two armed youths forced him to accompny them.
A really very sad incident in the history of PDM College.

Hope your exams were satisfactory. Now back to college life. Many rumors are coming around about opening the college for the even semesters. The college reopens from Friday , 21 January officially. That the attendance will counted from the 21st itself. So be there folks....!!!!!

Call for concerted efforts to combat corruption.

MDU formed a special department for checking the answer sheets of the students. Any sheet found with suspicious matter (phone number of student , money matter , sympathy etc.) will be discarded and the student will be charged or may be suspended. This department has already dismissed 3 faculty members giving suspicious advice to the students. This shows the strictness level. So folks who attempted this type of matter be alerted.

This time MDU is freaked out due to the fact that the last semester exam papers were leaked out. So beware this time as the question papers seemed to be not of MDU's style. 1st year students should be aware of this fact and should not take it lightly.
