Happy Friday, everyone!

I feel like everyone I know is getting home security systems. Not that I think they’re a bad idea. They seem incredible. My wife’s father bought one and had it installed and they had some sort of discount for giving them names and he listed us as a potential call. Wow. The lady who sold the system was persistent and prying. She really took “Don’t take no for an answer” as a personal motto. Everytime I’d try to say good bye she’d say “Okay- I’ll let you think about it- and I’ll try back in a few days when you talk to your wife.” She finally gave up. So for now, all we have keeping the place locked down is an attack dog (alittle smaller than the average football) and an attack sphynx kitten who is more scary looking than aggressive as he’d probably try to snuggle someone to death first. Getting Near 175 comics!

Speaking of milestones. There’s 2 I’d like to mention on here…
1. My friend Kellie’s political canine comic The Beaglez hit 200 comics! If you like Beagles (which have made quite a few appearances in my comics) and political humor go check her out!

2. My friend and fellow cartoonist Josh Bauman at Caffeinated Toothpaste has released a vol. 2 of his comics. They’re fantastic diary comics. Check him out and snag a copy of volume 2 if you like!

Happy Friday! If any of you reading this are Mothers… Happy Mother’s day this Sunday. I hope everyone has relaxing weekend.

Sporting the Thor costume… I have yet to venture out to the movies and see “The Avengers” but I have heard a lot of great things. I liked the individual movies that came out. Especially Captain America. I was really nervous where they were going to go with that one but found it a pleasant surprise and great story. When I was a kid, I never really cared for the Avengers, to be honest. I read the Hulk as a kid but mostly Spiderman. A while ago I tried to pick up The Hulk comics but couldn’t follow the story and just couldn’t reignite the spark. It’s just not for me. I do love the Hulk: Gray graphic novel though. The art is fantastic.

I’m not a parent yet… but from what I hear it takes a fine-tuning of timing and organization to do anything out of the house. Right now all I have is a super needy dog and a hyper-active cat. Together they seem to be pretty close to a baby. Happy Friday everyone! Hope the week went well for you.

Hi everybody. Hope the week has started off well for you. I went to a fantastic art show tonight in Richmond, VA that kept me out late so I had a snag in my production of the comic. But it’s done now and up. I’ve enjoyed drawing this little story of Tonya having her baby.

So I guess this is a welcome to the new cast member in these comics. Madison. It’s been a lot of fun leading up to this one and I’m excited about the potential comics that can come from having Madison around. Hope you’re enjoying it and that you have a good Friday!

My wife and I got a new addition to our real-life family. We got a cat! He’s a sphynx cat and Jo named him Atticus. We’ve had him for a whole week now and we’re having a great time. He’s very sweet and curious. I hope the week has started off well for everyone!
