UK trip, Xmas 2009 and New Year 2010

Great holiday with fabulous mates (Pian, Qistina & Naim) for about ten days in Greater London and Northern Manchester.. Madame Tussauds, London Eye, Big Ben, Hard Rock.. It was kinda last minute plan holiday to UK with my friends (bear in mind I still have my weekend classes.. have to skip then lalalala..). Lucky enough we manage to get fairly good price on our flight tickets (about RM2,500 rtn ticket each) with Malaysia Airlines. Our outbound flight was very smooth and enjoyable (truely Malaysian Hospitality). Our heart were full with joy and excitement.. so anxious.. we just can't wait to arrive at Heathrow airport :)

Patong Beach Phuket - Feb 2009

My first short break of the year after my nightmare with final MBA exam... I just cant imagine how it gonna turn up when I get my result by the end of this month.. I really hope I could at least past the requirement for both exam. Anyhow, I'm trying to fully enjoy my holiday in Phuket on my own for the very first time in my life. Well there's always first time for everthing..

Enough said.. I'm planning to go out later (its 730pm Phuket time) to check out this area, Paradise Complex, grab a nice drink and chill... see what happen and whom shall I meet heheheh.. I wish I'm as bold as Samantha Jones.. Could just pick up anyone I fancy by the bar heheheh... but I'm not that brave :P

Well I'd better get ready.. have shower and put on some daring top lol

MITC 2008 - 2 weeks

The last two weeks of April is usually chaotic with national event held by the company. Venue changes every year moving from one state to the next and this time its our historical city, Melaka.

It is part of the company long term strategic plan and its CSR obligation to the Nation. However, others may feel it's just wasting money and resources. Well.. interpretation is infinite and subjected to personal view. Its a 'free country' any way.. so to say :/

Throughout the event, we work till odd hours and certainly more than 12hrs. Dead tiring but fun :-) meet up with the local resident.. making new friends and try local delicacies. I really had fun x

Just outside Hard Rock hotel at Kuta.. after half-day stroll around Kuta (including the beach.. of course). Bought some souvenirs and couple of t-shirt then just hangout a little bit more at the beach.. pure bliss.. and just chillin'...

Certainly will come again to this amazing island ;-)

I can't believe that I'd spent so much money for my dinner costume this year somewhere in february.. it was fun!! And my group won twice; one for group and the other as winner for overall group.. It was such a glamorous night for some of us. This is me and my dearest friend :-) (top photo).

BestDay Intan..

Last Friday (15-12) after work, we had such a laugh for Intan B'day Party at Cakri Palace KLCC.. the initial plan was to have it at either Madam Kwan's or Chili's and most of us wouldn't mind to either of this venue, however few complication arises just a day b4 the party.. extreme measure and instance decision required b'coz the party must GO ON.. so, thursday morning I'd called everyone on the list to reconfirm their attendance for a new venue still within KLCC area tho... luckily all of them are willing and able to come even on short notice of the new venue. Just an hour b4 lunch I rang Cakri to book table for 16 ppl on friday at 6pm... another lucky coincident (they have table for 16ppl).. I must say, you need more than lucky to assemble all your plan for last minute changes..

Almost 80% of our MTs turn up that nite even the non-so-familiar faces had showed up (I am very very glad that u guys come, Thank you so much!). Check out some of the photos below (Anne thank you for sharing your photos!!)..

Tioman

Tioman pun besh gak.. tapi agak jauh skit dr jetty Kuala Rompin, the ferry trip took us about 2hrs to get to tioman. Still amazing but it was better 6 yrs ago.. this is my second time holiday at this island. By the time we get to the island it's almost midday... dry and sunny... we walk around looking for a good chalet and we found Nazri2 which is pretty a good location. The price is not too bad and it is fully airconditioned plus the beach is merely at our door step. The photo here was taken from our veranda (utterly gorgeous!!).

We spent about a week here and made few friends especially Darren, Maria and Mo. We had such a great time with them... snorkling, chasing turtle, boat ride, venture to the waterfall, etc... We really had such an amazing time, all of us did.. We were very close as if we've known each other for donkey years. To meet up with them at the island unplanned is a Bonus to us. Great holiday... Gorgeous island.. and Superb mates, you can't as more than that.

Tioman will always be in my heart..!!

Perhentian

My recent holiday (around mid June 2006) cum island hopping on the east coast peninsular was such an amazing adventure. We (me + nick) start of with an arduous drive from KLIA to Kuala Besut then to Pulau Perhentian Kecil. It took us about 12hrs almost none stop (plus we got lost couple of times.. hehehe) to get to Kuala Besut Jetty. I did the driving most of the time and it seemed like it never end... On and on.. plus the road was pretty empty. It felt longer than the actual time, yet I tried to stay focus most of the time and stayed awake.. hehehe..

We left my mom about midnight and got to the jetty (Kuala Besut) about midday. Prior to that we got to Kuala Terengganu, I though we are already at the jetty, we were so so happy then for few minutes, until I found out that we have to drive another 2hrs or so for the jetty to Perhentian island :( bloody hell.. we will never get there aren't we..!! And off we go again

Frankly, we don't exactly know how to get there, purely based on sign board (that doesn't help either) and a bit of luck may be.. hehehe.. well, after more than an hour driving, we were lost (not surprised with the way we plan our trip, well it is an adventure anyway). Luckily we came across a few local people and they had helped us for direction to the jetty. Off we go and hopefully we won't get lost again this time. An hour had past and we were on the right track, just follow the sign board, which eventually brought us to the Kuala Besut jetty.. YESSSSS !!!

After taking out all our luggage (I really mean LUGGAGE) and park the car, we bought the ferry ticket (not really a ferry, it is just a boat and not a big one honestly, bit scary tho) to Perhentian Island - Suria Beach Resort. There were about 6 of us all together in this small boat. The boat driver just speed up to the island (as if we were on jetski, pretty mad..!!) and we got there 45min later. The view of the island was breath taking, heavenly mesmerizing!! and it worth the 12hrs drive. All our tiredness and fatigue just vapourise in thin air... it just gone..

I woke up bit early this morning about 4.45am, but then I'm a bit reluctant to get up, my throat feel very discomfort.. I'm still laying in bed... Some how I felt asleep again and woke up at about 6.00am (shit!! I'm gonna be late for work - am really that bothered??). Still lie down in bed till about 6.15am.. then slowly getting ready for work and leave home about 6.35am (I really feel like taking MC today). Off I go on my bike to the ERL station. By the time I get to the station its already broad day light (7 min to 7) I though, I miss my train (if I do, defo EL hehehe).

Ppl's attitude (Malaysian especially) to board any public transport (bus/train/etc) is so uncivilised and disgrace to the country, as if we were back in time (stone aged). Lelaki... pompuan sama jer, sume masuk train ala2 kambing masuk kandang. Rasa2 nyer kambing pun tau Q gak... Ntah laaa (big sigh). Bila laaa org kita ni nak ada "First Class Mind"??? By 2020..?? hhhmmm...

Sometimes, when we think about it... its kinda sad and pity to witness such attitude among our professional. Even tho this is not a major issue but it reflects our nation as a whole how we behave... When are we going to learn, if ever??

Anniversary MT

Pejam celik.. pejam celik.. tup..tup.. dah 2 thn (as at Oct 2006) kita bekerja kat sini. Tak sangka kan.. rasa cam kejap jer dah 2 thn. Sepanjang kita keje ni, macam2 yg kita dah buat dr bekerja sampai laaa yg mendirikan rumah tangga + dah dpt baby pun skrg ni alhamdulillah. Well, through out the years there's so many had happen.. up.. down.. you name it. And we all manage to pull through (nak tak ndak.. terpaksa jer laa kan heheheh).

Masa lepas 1 thn keje tuh, ramai laa yg confirm tp ada gak few yg kurang bernasib baik kene postpone (sabo jer kan sabotaj sgt2!!!). Anyhow, sume tu dugaan belaka.. pasti ada hikmah nyer tuhan tu MAHA Adil kan... rasa best gak masa memula masuk keje tuh (ye laaa org tak penah bekerja laa katakan sblum ni agak excited gak...) Especially bila dpt jumpa geng MT ni lg meriah (after several months knowing each other). Memula tuh most of us ala2 malu kuching lg... sume nyer control AYU laaa.. (tak de makne nyer). After 6 months training bersama2 pastu some of us kene gi OBS lak selama 25hari ("BEST GILE KAN" heheheh) merapatkan lg ukhuwah islamiah antara kita org ni (Alhamdulillah). The first 1 yr tu kita org still pretty close together2... then, as time goes by (just over 2 yrs), bile memasing dah ada dept/div sendiri, hubungan tu menjadi agak renggang skit (well, expected laa). However, some of us still remain as closed friend ;) (moga2 kekal sampai bebila kan!!)

Birthday Party

It was Friday, Nov 10, 2006, after work we all went for a meal at Johny's for Sal + Husna Birthday Party (Alpha Angle Wangsa Maju). I was the last few person that turn up for this event. It was so much fun with the kids (Khairul's, Fadlly and Sal's babies). Most of the girls (Ena + Ifah) are loving it, with the babies of course.

On my way to Johny's, as usual Friday, both traffic (cars + LRT) are utterly Mad plus it was raining as well, which makes the condition even worst. But I manage to get there in one piece (including Intan).

What an experience eh, Intan? May be never ever again getting on the LRT on Friday after work especially when it rain. Better luck next time... hehehhe..

Tak penah2 aku bangun awal pagi hari Sabtu, aleh2 sabtu ni my sis ajak aku gi tengok MAHA laa pulak kat Serdang. Idak ler dekat pun ngan umah drive lebih kurang sejam gak laa. Tapi tak per laa demi kakak yg tersayang. So, Sabtu tu kul 7.30am aku dah bangun then siap2 kul 8.15am kita org pun bertolak laa ker Serdang dengan penuh semangat nak menjengok pameran pertanian tuh. Actually, tak tau pun menda tu start kul brapa kita org belasah jer laaa. Bila sampai kat sana kenderaan lain pun dah start busy ala2 traffic skit laaa. Nasib baik tak sesat, sebab nyer tak tau pun the actual place MAHA ni, kita org gamble jer laaa sebab nyer member kat opis kata byk sign board so kita org blasah jer laaa. So, bila dah parking kereta (nasib baik tak jauh sgt dr kemah2 MAHA tuh), kita org pun menapak laaa ke kemah2 MAHA tuh. Berpeluh gak laaa aku ngan kakak aku (panjat bukit OK). Nasib baik laaa kemah2 tuh sumer nyer ber'aircon' kalo idak mati dehydrated kita org ni.

Kita org rayau habis2 sumer kemah2 MAHA tuh, kenyang gak merasa carca merba kat kemah2 tu. Ada tuh kuiz teka berat ikan Tuna laaa.. pertandingan memasak laaa.. pameran bunga orkid gergasi (kagum aku ngan saiz bunga orkid dia - lg lebar dr tapak tangan aku ni ha). Mula tu ingat nak pegi gak kat tempat lembu & kambing, but then tempat tuh agak jauh dr kemah + hari paneh terik, so aku cancel jer niat murni kita org ni.. better gerak balik gi car park since langit semakin gelap nak ujan. Anyhow kita org merayau kat tempat tu lama gak laaa dr kul 9.30am sampai laa kul 2.00pm, dah naik pijar kaki ngan lutut aku ni. So, kita org amik kete then chiow... akan tetapi langit mmg tak selalu cerah, hari pun ujan dengan selebat2 nye + jalan nak keluar pun jam teruk. Kita org sangkut lebih sejam kat area UPM Mardi... tak tau laaaa, nasib baik bukan aku yg drive kakak aku yg drive sempat gak aku tido setengah jam dlm kete.. hehehe.

LIFE Essence
