On New Years Eve, we opened our gifts from Andrew grandparents in Sweden. His Grandma always makes the kids knitted sweaters and I look forward to this gift every year! The kids looked so cute in their sweaters.

That evening we all got dressed up and went to eat at Smoke in Owasso. The food was amazing!

Afterwards, my sister and her family, and my parents, came over and hung out. The kids had so much fun and all but Nora, made it to midnight. Andrew made yummy snacks and we played games. It was a fun evening!

Lo's 6th Birthday

Our sweet Lolo Bear is 6! I can't even believe it! How does time go by that fast?!? It literally feels like yesterday that I was praying so hard for this kid. She has brought me more joy (and anxiety, ha) than I ever could have imagined. She is blunt and will her argue her point to the ground, just like her daddy, and she is sweet, shy, and sassy, just like me. This girl is determined and head strong and knows exactly what she wants when she wants it. She has the biggest heart and loves those close to her fiercely. She is super smart and still humble, and walks around the house singing songs about Jesus.

She loves being crafty and loves to draw, her family portraits are my favorite. She loves barbies and LOL dolls, and can tell you anything you want to know about Star Wars. She is a walking tornado, like her mama, and her room is a disaster at any given moment. She loves being in conversation and seems to subtly steal the hearts of all of those around her.

For her birthday this year, we chose to forgo a party. I took her to school and went and ate lunch with her, then after school, her and I went to pick up her cake.

That evening we had a little family celebration at home with pizza and cake.

On Sunday, I took her to eat lunch and go shopping with my mom. Then we went to Pinkitzel to decorate cupcakes with her cousins. She had a blast!

Seaside!!!

We love Seaside/Watercolor/30A so much!! We had been dragging our feet to book a summer vacation for a few reasons, so come June 1, I just decided to book a house in Watercolor for the following week. We told my mom and sister that we were going to leave in 5 days, that we booked a house and there was rooms for them if they wanted to come. Surprisingly, they both were in! So 5 days later we packed the car, loaded up, and headed to Florida! I have never booked a vacation like that on a whim with such short notice, but everything worked out and it was a great time!

The kids did amazing on the drive down there, we drove half way and stopped around midnight. We got up early and made it to our house at around 7 pm.

While Andrew and Keith went to the grocery store and got doubles of everything under the sun, we explored the house. The kids loved the bunk beds!

The next morning, I went for a run to the beach and checked out that view!

Then we all got ready and headed to the beach!!

After a fun-filled morning at the beach, we relaxed for a bit and took naps. This porch bed swing was amazing!

After naps, we got ready and headed to dinner! The kids looked so cute in their matching MJ dresses.

On Day 3, we headed to the beach again that morning, but not before a music session with Lo Willis.

We headed home for lunch and naps, and while the kids all napped and the boys babysat, I took my mom and sister on a bike ride to Lululemon! After they all woke up, we headed to Seaside for dinner!

Then I got the bright idea to let Drew get a sword!! What sane mom even does that?!

The next morning, we decided to head to the pool. It was about to rain, but we chanced it anyway.

It did indeed start raining on us, se we left the pool and headed into Seaside for lunch and doughnuts!

The kids took naps, and then we headed to the beach!

And Drew wins the award for best pictures of the entire trip!! Gosh, I love this kid!

The nest day, our last full day, we headed to the beach again, because why not?!?

After the beach, we rode our bike into town to get a pizza and grabbed a coconut while we were at it.

Nora decided she was too tired to get dressed and hopped into her bed all by herself...this girl!

While the 4 littlest kids napped, us girls went shopping in Seaside.

After everyone was awake, we all got ready and headed to the beach to take some pictures.

After we bribed and pleaded with our kids to cooperate for pictures, we went to eat dinner at Pickles.

The next day, we got up, but not at the crack of dawn, and headed home! We stopped for breakfast, lunch at Cracker Barrel and dinner somewhere and then drove straight through.

The kids were amazing! We got home at 2 am were glad to be back! But what a fun trip!!

Daddy Daughter Date

Andrew took Lo on a special daddy daughter date to see the new Star Wars movie, while I took the other two to the pool!

Andrew said she loved it and talked and acted engaged the entire movie!

Lo's end of soccer party!

Lo's end of the season soccer party was held at the splash pad. They had a blast playing in the water and at the park! We sure have loved playing on this team and love love love the parents and kids so much! For now, this will be Lo's last season, and we sure are going to miss all these sweet families.

Big Cedar

We spent the beginning of Memorial week in Branson at Big Cedar. We left on Memorial Day! The kids were so excited to stay in a cabin.

I took this same pic, at the exact same place when we just had Lo, just 5 years ago. It's so crazy how fast time goes by and how much things change in such a short amount of time! We are so very blessed!

After we got settled, we headed out to explore a little bit. The golf cart trail at Big Cedar is AMAZING! After we did that, we headed to dinner at Top of the Rock. It is just so pretty!!

Dinner had great views as well!

After dinner we headed back to the cabin!

The next morning we headed to breakfast and met a few new friends along the way.

Afterwards we head to the pool! The kids loved the lazy river, but the water was a little cold. We headed to the indoor pool for a bit, before heading back for lunch and naps.

That evening we went to a part of the resort that had tons of arcades, bowling alley, ropes course, etc. It was awesome! We had a blast!

When we got back to our cabin, they crashed! Sign of a great day!

The next day, we ate breakfast and enjoyed a gorgeous view! Then we went on a walk around the resort. It is just beautiful!

It's a shame Nora has no personality...

We headed to the outlets for a bit before heading home. Of course, the kids had to ride those expensive little rides while we were there. Why do they like those so much?!?

What a great trip! Big Cedar is Amazing!

Lo's last day of Pre-K

Lo's last day of Pre-K is in the books! I can't believe she is headed to kindergarten! Just doesn't seem possible. Love this girl so much and how much she has grown over the past two years at school. I can't wait to see what the future brings her!

My Birthday!

For my birthday weekend, we headed to Kansas City to watch the Yankees play the Royals! Andrew had put a few decorations up for me that morning and Miss Nora camped out in the bathroom while I got ready. Love that girl so much!

My little min-me wanted to match me and picked out our matching dresses. I sure hope she is always this obsessed with me. Love her sweet heart!

We took a family picture and then we were off!

We left on Friday afternoon, then once we got to the hotel we changed clothes and headed to dinner!

We headed to dinner down at the Plaza at a delicious barbeque restaurant. The kids were in rare form, to say the least, haha, but we survived!

After dinner, the kids passed out!

The next day, we headed to the American Girl Doll store and the Lego Store. The kids could have spent hours there!

After the kids shopping spree, we headed to a fun little train restaurant where your food is delivered by a little train! The kids got a kick out of this.

After lunch, we walked around a little, the outdoor area was pretty cool.

Then we headed back to the hotel so Drew and Nora could nap. Andrew stayed with them, while Lo and I headed down to the plaza to do a little shopping. This girl can shop!

When everyone woke up, we all got ready and head to the baseball game! The stadium was so cool and had a kid park in it, complete with a carousel. The kids did great as long as the were constantly given food. They made it until the 7th inning.

The next day, we packed up and headed home, but not without a stop to Ikea first!

It was a great trip filled with even better memories!

K4 Luau

Lo had a Luau at school and when I saw this on the calendar I just thought it was a fun party day. Little did I know that it would end up being a cute assembly of songs and awards.

Afterwards, we had a little celebration in her classroom to celebrate the last day of school.

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend was spent hanging out outside. The weather was beautiful! We swam and cooked out. We, as in, Andrew cooked. My family came over to eat and we all had a great time!

May Zoo Day

One Friday on my day off, I thought it would be a bright idea to take the kids to the zoo. I really didn't think it would be that crowded since school was in still...Little did I know that every school in entire Oklahoma, or so it seemed, was going there for a field trip that same day. Ironically, my sister and my mom were going too, because my niece's school was going, and they pulled in right behind me. Normally, I would have turned around and left, but I didn't. It was insane, but the kids loved that their cousins were there and had a great time. I, however, will never go to the zoo in May again.

Soccer Saturdays

Soccer Saturday's have been fun this spring! Lo is part of such a great team and just adores all the girls on her team.

Drew has gotten to participate in mini kickers and loves it!

And Nora is always up for a good time!

Mom's Day at school

Lo's school had a cute little breakfast to celebrate all of the moms.

After the breakfast, we went on a field trip to the skating rink. This place just opened up in Owasso and it is so neat! They had all kinds of things for the kids to do. Lo had a great time and it was her first time on skates!

After the field trip, I took Lo and we went to eat lunch and then did a little shopping. She always loves our special "mommy-Lolo" days, as do I!

Weekend Fun!

After Lo's soccer game on Saturday, we went to a fun birthday party! Drew had to bring his gun of course. The kids loved the playset and Nora found a dog.

After the party, we came home and the kids played in the water. It was so nice out!

On my day off, I took the kids to the zoo. It wasn't crowded and the kids had a blast!

Weekend Randoms

These pics are just too cute! Nora loves our ice cream trips after dinner!

They were so sweet sitting her together looking at book orders. I loved looking at these when I was their age.

Sleeping baby in the backseat is one of the sweetest sights..

We got brave and took the monkeys to Cheese cake Factory to eat. Nora was stoked!

They love bathing in my bathtub and will sit in their forever playing and pretending they are swimming.

On Friday it was so warm that the kids were in their swim suits playing in the sprinkler...

By Saturday, at Lo's soccer game it was FREEZING!!! Only in Oklahoma...

Lo played dress up that night in her favorite costume. This girl is obsessed with Star Wars!

Sunday we took a little trip to Bass Pro. The kids loved that place!

And on Monday, it was dress up time again. This girl is always dressing up!

Easter Weekend

The night before Easter we planted jelly beans to see if they would grow into lollipops the next morning.

That evening they got dressed in their Easter pj's and we read a book about Jesus. They were so excited about Easter the next morning!

They woke up bright and early that morning and were thrilled to see their Easter baskets!

Then they checked outside to see if their jellybeans did in fact grow in to suckers, and sure enough, that Easter Bunny had some magic up his sleeve!

That afternoon/evening, we baked and got ready to go to my parents for dinner. My aunt, uncle, and cousin had come in from NY. We all had a great time!

Drew wasn't in the mood for a family picture. There's always one...

My mom had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids, and they all loved it!

The Easter Bunny!

I got the brave idea to take the kids to see the Easter Bunny. Drew did so much better than I thought he would and said the Easter Bunny was so soft! Nora on the other hand...

Lo's Easter Party

I had the day off for Lo's Easter Party at school and took the two littles with me. We dropped Lo off at school for a few hours before the party started, and then we went to Target.

When you are a huge germaphobe and really have to go to the bathroom you make your kids stand right in the center and hold hands. I can't believe they cooperated and I also can't believe how crazy I really am...

At 11:00 we headed to the party and Lo had an easter egg hunt inside due to the rain, Drew and Nora had a blast as well! It was short and sweet!

I looked up and all the sudden Nora looked all grown up! Where is my baby going?

We took the kids to eat breakfast Saturday morning and then to do a little shopping and Nora was so upset with me because I wouldn't let her walk in the store with all the breakables...

My little diva thought she needed a sleeping mask...

Andrew took the big kids fishing, while Nora and I enjoyed a run. Nora loves going for runs with me and passed out on the way back to the house.

I was off on Monday, so the kids and I enjoyed our weekly Target run. I'm pretty sure my kids are just as obsessed with Target as I am.

Lo loves matching me, and I am going to soak it up as long as I can. I sure do love this sweet girl!

Mini Vacay

Andrew and I decided to drive to Bentonville for the night so we could go to the Gentry Drive Thru Zoo. The kids were so excited for the car ride and to say in a hotel! They were great on the way there. We stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch and then headed to the hotel. Once we got there, the kids took naps.

When we got up, we headed to browse at the Town Square and then met our bonus family for dinner! We had a great time!

The next day, we got up and headed to the zoo. The kids LOVED it! The drive thru part was great and the petting zoo was really cool. I think it's safe to say, my kids love animals as much as their parents!

Two out of three napped on the car ride home and, were once again, great little travelers!

We had a great little trip! I sure hope we are able to take more of these trips now that the kids are getting a little older. It sure is nice to get away from the busyness and stress of everyday things.

Lo's Valentines Party

Lo's Valentines Party was the day after Valentine's Day. We made her box that weekend and she loved it! She's quite obsessed with these LOL dolls these days!

Drew wanted to make a box as well.

She was sweet to invite Drew to come to her party, so Andrew and I dropped Lo off at school and spent a few hours with just Drew before her party. He wanted to go to Barnes and Noble and Target, haha, definitely my kid!

Around lunch time, we headed to Lo's party. Drew loves going to her school! I really think he will love school next year!

Her party was fun! They did a few crafts, ate pizza, and handed out valentine's to each other.

After her party, we played outside for a bit and then the kids begged to get out one of my Christmas gifts....Haha

We had a great day!
