Two of our buyers recently went on a field trip to the The Javits Center in New York City. Since we are currently expanding our product line the Fame and Accessories Trade Shows seem like the place to be.

Our headquarters is located in Fairfield, NJ so NYC is basically our back yard. It just so happened we were having a record breaking heat wave at 66 degrees in January so they decided to park in Weehawken, NJ and take the ferry into the city.  The Javits is just a block or two from the docks so I'm sure it was a pleasant walk.

Once they got there they entered the show area like two kids in a candy store. Oh the fashion and jewelry, there was so much to take in. The veterans that they are, they systematically hit every both with eagle eye precision as they scouted out the latest hippie related products for our retail store and web site HippieShop.com.

To their surprise many of the vendors were displaying products adorned with peace symbols. It's like the new trendy symbol on everything from earrings to rain boots. It looks like everyone in America wants to give peace a chance including the fashion industry. It just goes to show you peace will never die and what goes around comes around again. Luckily for us at Hippie Shop peace is always in style.
