My four year old tale top fountain which I only got to use two months ago just got broken today. I just noticed that even if I plug it in, the water doesn’t flow anymore and the music that accompanies the flow of water doesn’t play.

I need that for my Feng Shui. Now I want to buy a new table top fountain but this time I want something in which the motor doesn’t touch the water. I’ll take it even if doesn’t have the same relaxing music that my fountain has. After all I can always check out a lot of musical instruments and reason 6.5 from musicians friend.

For now, I just want something that will bring me the sound of flowing water to calm the mind.

I was busy the past months but I know that I have a lot to be thankful for. I was able to buy a lot of things for peanutbutter♥, Ykaie and me which includes clothes, shoes and one of those box cutters from MartorUSA.com. Aside from that, we were able to travel to a lot of places.

It has been a tiring, busy, hectic couple of months but it was all worth it because I was with family all of those times.

I’ll just go on with my list today, okay?

♥ First, I’m very thankful that peanutbutter♥ got home safe and sound.

♥ Second,  Ykaie graduated at the top of her class, albeit a small class. And her daddy was able to be there for her.

♥ Third, I’m thankful for our staycations where we are able to bond as a family.

♥ I feel that our marriage has taken a different turn this year and got deeper and more meaningful.

♥ I’m thinking more and trying to be better than I was the day before…

I’ve been seeing a lot of #ThrowbackThursday posts  but I’ve never really participated in the meme.

And I’m thinking.. hey, I’m missing all the fun!

So just to blurt it out, #ThrowbackThursday is all about posting photos {from way way back}that you really liked on your social media accounts like Facbeook, Instagram or Twitter.

Here is my first #ThrowbackThursday photo. I can’t really remember what year this was. We were in Palawan and we were island hopping. It was my first time to see a Starfish in person.

I know. It’s been a week since peanutbutter♥ left for Dubai and I’m still not posting that much. I’m still a bit emotional, thank you very much for asking.

I’m lonely without him to annoy, and tickle, and massage until he’s very sleepy to even talk to me, and annoy again.

Sometimes I just want to cry because I miss him so much and it feels like there’s always sad music playing on the background plugged in on a really powerful one spot power supply and it won’t stop… and it makes me all the more lonelier.

I know I better stop and get over this pretty soon or else I won’t get my work done in time….

Tomorrow is a monday and mondays are always a great start…

Well, I think I may have just found out the solution to your problem. I found these Jitterbeans when I was grocery shopping at Robinsons. Costs ₱50.

It says on the box that this is gourmet chocolate candy caffeine…

… but it’s actually candy-coated, chocolate-covered coffee beans that taste, well, like chocolate and coffee. But it also says on the box that it has guarana in it.

Guarana has one of the highest concentrations of caffeine in any plant, and has become a popular ingredient in energy supplement.

Just in case you’re wondering just how much caffeine is in a box of Jitterbeans… It says here that it has approximately 250mg of caffeine. It is equal to 2½ mugs of coffee or three energy drinks or 4.6 cand of cola.

Pretty cool, huh?

I’ve been thinking lately…

What if instead of renting out this place that used to be the shop, we just turn it into our home and live in it? After all, I’ve grown accustomed to this place and at least, we’ll have some privacy.

And of course, I won’t have to live away from dear old sis who, I think, doesn’t want me to live away from her.

Just letting out my thought bubble. I still have to talk this out with my peanutbutter♥.

I think this just needs a little repainting and minor renovations and it could look nice.

And besides, at least we could avoid getting a loan which could take all our lives to pay for…

hmmm… it’s hard to plan for the future….

This 33º  sweaty afternoon finds me inside my so-called office with the a/c turned on. My gosh! It’s scorching hot outside even if it rained not an hour ago. Again, I am tinkering with my blogs. Moving this and moving that. Changing this and changing that. Resizing this and resizing that.

I’d rather tinker with my blog than do anything else. Not even a Lowa Hiking Boots and the most gorgeous nature sights could make me stand up and go out. Not in this heat, I’ll feel like melting whenever I’m outside, I feel like a snowman in a tropical country!

I like Summer — except when I’m not near the pool or at the beach

At the beginning of the year, when I blogged about my horoscope for the year and what I felt about it, I also told you that according to feng shui I should put a fountain at the front door and turn it on for at least an hour everyday to facilitate the flow of money in my life.

I told you I’m gonna do it but life has been busy and I wasn’t able to buy one and then I totally forgot about it. Today, while I was cleaning  what’s left of our old shop things, I found this….

..a small fountain that is usb powered. I remember someone giving this to me as a gift but I don’t remember who.

Right now, this fountain is placed at the front door and I kept it running for more than an hour this morning. It’s pretty decorative and I like the sound of running water. It reminds me of nature and of peace….very relaxing too.

It must’ve been that unplanned trip to Puerto Galera that made me think about my gratitude list which I haven’t been able to keep. Al though I have a lot of things to be thankful for, life has also been busy dealing me with cards I didn’t know how to play. After all, I’m not a gambler. I am not a risk taker. I always saw myself as someone who plays safe and someone who always have a plan B. So in case I got into a jam, I could just put jam nuts to get out of it.

These past few days, –err… months, I find myself living in the present. It made me think  about being a person who doesn’t care about the past or the future but only the present.

I used to be someone who focuses on the past. I was a past positive person, someone who focuses and remembers only the good old days. But somehow, over time, I changed and become someone who seizes the day. I know I have  a lot of thing s to do to balance it out more but right now, let me focus on the things that I am thankful for…

♥ peanutbutter♥ will be home in 13 days and we have a lot of traveling to do and we have a lot of making up for lost time in each other’s arm — with Ykaie, of course.

♥ Thankful that sis’s friends backed out of  their trip to Puerto Galera and we got to go with her and it forced me to think and reflect upon things during my early morning alone at the beach.

♥ I’m always, always thankful for the blessings that I receive each day.

♥ Thankful that I was able to go shopping yesterday both for peanutbutter♥ and me. I bought a lot of clothes which happens once in a blue moon  but which makes me a bit guilty but happy..LOL!

♥ Thankful for the good things in life that cannot be bought  by money.

Today, I went to the salon and had my hair rebonded. Hair Rebonding takes 4-5 hours. To keep boredom at bay, I read the last part of Fifty Shades Darker {the one I’ve been meaning to read since last week} and finished it on my 3rd hour. Then I began with Fifty Shades Freed. The beginning was even hotter that the first and second book because it started out in a honeymoon!

This book is hard to put down!
