I opened up my mailbox and excitedly pulled out the much awaited package. Inside was Nat Gertler’s new book “The Peanuts Collection: Treasures from the World’s Most Beloved Comic Strip.” Since February, I had been long awaiting seeing this compilation. Why? Because I was asked to contribute! Should you buy this book, you’ll see a few pieces from my collection sandwiched between the pages including the Beagle Power and Pigpen “Keep America Clean” Mrs. Karl’s Bread premiums.

What do I think of the book now that it’s FINALLY here? It’s great fun to read, especially with all the fun things to pull out and look through. I love seeing the one-of-a-kind items that add to the back story of Peanuts. The book consolidates the world of Peanuts into sections with accompanying story and memorabilia.
