32 year old Karina Smirnoff says she’s surprised her Dancing With the Stars partner, Jersey Shore hunk Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, hasn’t tried to chat her up!

““He hasn’t hit on me! And I’m taking it as an insult,” she said.

“Like, what am I? A grenade?”

In Jersey Shore speak, a grenade is a term for a woman who falls low on the attractive meter.

“We’re like brother and sister,” Smirnoff said of her relationship with Sorrentino. “We laugh, we definitely have some flirtatious kind of mystery.”

Karina revealed she approached Season 11 of DWTS with some trepidation as her former fiance Chmerkovskiy is still a castmember.

“I was a little concerned about that coming into this season and that was one of the main reasons why I wanted last season off,” she said.

“It’s cool… It’s my job; I love what I do; I love dancing; I love choreographing and I get paid for it so it’s pretty much you know perfect scenario, perfect situation. I wish him all the best.”

Karina Smirnoff has previously dated Maksim Chmerkovskiy and currently has a boyfriend, pro baseball player Brad Penny.

Rachel Uchitel is back to school to study Criminal Justice.

The first woman who was romantically linked to Tiger Woods, Rachel Uchitel has been accepted into two prominent graduate school where she will learn about people’s abnormal behavior.

“Rachel has been accepted into two graduate schools: one is a masters in criminal justice and the other is for a masters in forensic psychology,” said a source.

“She hasn’t picked which one she is going to take yet but both are amazing schools, and she is very excited.

Uchitel, 35, is also two weeks into an intensive 10-week training program in forensic investigation in the Los Angeles area.

“She started classes a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it,” said the pal.

“She has made it her life, 24/7.

“Rachel is following her dream.

“She has always been obsessed with anything related to crime — television shows like Nancy Grace, Cold Case, To Catch a Predator.

“Rachel asks a million questions all the time and she is always trying to put details of a story into her head.

“Now she wants to work at a news organization as part of an investigation unit.”

“I Am Not a Human Being” Album by Lil Wayne Digitally Released

A part of celebration for his 28th birthday, rapper Lil Wayne digitally released for Weezy’s highly anticipated "I Am Not a Human Being" album on September 27. This is the predecessor for his also highly anticipated Tha Carter IV album.

The physical release for “I Am Not a Human Being” isn’t until October 12th, however fans can download the album via major online retailers, such as iTunes. The physical version of the album will have 2 additional tracks.

Though Wayne’s fans are excited about the early release of their favorite rapper’s new album, retailers are said to be upset because they feel like the Young Money head honcho’s decision to release an early digital version of the album will affect physical sales in a few weeks.

“It’s disturbing,” one retailer told Billboard, “It’s definitely putting brick-and-mortar second, and we are going to lose business that we would normally get. How is the consumer going to know that the album will have a second physical release?”

33 year old actress Emily Deschanel and writer-actor David Hornsby had a quiet evening wedding ceremony in front of family and friends in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Saturday, September 25.

Emily Deschanel wore a pair of matching diamond and platinum scroll hair pins and drop earrings by Neil Lane.

Deschanel is currently starring in the sixth season of "Bones," while Hornsby is best known for his work on FX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

Katy Perry performed her hit song "Hot 'N Cold" for Sesame Street that was supposed to air for a New Year's special. However, reports surfaced today that her cameo got pulled because she wore a dress that exposed too much cleavage, which was deemed too scandalous for children. A Sesame Street spokesperson said: "In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers." So, what dress caused the trouble?

Bret Michaels will Undergo Heart Surgery

Bret Michaels will undergo surgery in January to fix a defect in his heart.

The 47-year-old rocker suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage and a subsequent stroke earlier this year. While hospitalized for the hemorrhage, doctors discovered a hole in his heart from birth, but said the defect is "operable and treatable."

Bret Michaels is currently on his nationwide Roses and Thorns tour, which wraps in December. After surgery, his autobiography, Roses & Thorns: The Reality of My Rock & Roll Fantasy is scheduled to hit stores in March.

Ashton Kutcher, 32, and wife Demi Moore, 47, showed a public display of affection at the Clinton Global Initiative, holding hands and seeming like a couple despite rumors that Kutcher was having an affair with a no-name he met at a bowling alley.

The couple held hands, wore their wedding bands, and "stood close together at the podium while discussing the DNA (Demi and Ashton) Foundation's mission to create a trafficking-free Internet."

Selena Gomez together with U.S. leading retailer, Kmart are working together on a affordable line of fashion clothing and accessories.

Kmart and Selena Gomez, along with her master licensee Adjmi Cynosure Holdings, are collaborating on fashion line called "Dream Out Loud" by Selena Gomez, a collection of value-priced fashions inspired by Gomez's signature style and aimed at teens.

The line will be available at Kmart stores and Kmart.com at the end of July. The collection will include junior sportswear, handbags, belts, scarves, hats, hair accessories, socks/hosiery and, as of October, footwear.

"Selena Gomez is a positive role model for teens and her fans all over the world look to her for style inspiration," John Goodman, executive vice president of SHC Apparel and Home Fashions, said in a statement Tuesday. "We are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to emulate her style with affordable apparel and footwear options."

Gomez stars in TV's "Wizards of Waverly Place" and will soon be seen on the big screen in the Fox feature film "Ramona and Beezus."

Bruno Mars Arrested for Drug Possession

Singer/songwriter Bruno Mars was arrested on charges of drug possession early yesterday morning, following a performance at the Hard Rock hotel in Las Vegas.

Few details are known about the incident, but Nevada police confirm they apprehended Mars in a casino bathroom around 2:40 a.m. He was in possession of narcotics at the time.

Mars is best known for a few recent hits: he co-wrote "Nothin' On You" by B.o.B, and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy, along with "Right Round" by Flo Rida.

Making for an interesting situation, J Lo's ex-hubby Ojani Noa is among the contestants - as he's going to perform one of Jennifer's tunes during auditions.

A source told press, “Ojani intends to be in the line at the Forum in Los Angeles on September 22 to try out for American Idol before his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. He will sing one of her songs and has a great voice, so, it will be interesting to see what she thinks of his performance."

The 16 year old hitmaker was joined by a female companion as he worked on the new video for the song which is dedicated to loyal fans.

As for Justin's night at the VMAs, the "One Time" singer ended up winning Best New Artist after offering up an energetic performance.

Actress Angelina Jolie won the hearts of the public through her many good deeds and was voted as Best Celebrity Role Model in a new online poll.

Winning as nearly half of all votes on the WENN poll, Angelina most recently visited Pakistan as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador seeking solutions to displacement from devastating floods.

Jolie scored 43%, followed by George Clooney - who happens to be a United Nations Messenger of Peace who took second place with 23%.

Miley Cyrus ranked third with 15% and followed closely by out known world peace crusader Bono, who had to settle for fourth place with 14% of votes.

Lady Gaga had quite a showing at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12.

An expected grand entrance at the red carpet, Lady Gaga made her way inside to win five shiny trophies, including the night's top prize for Video of the Year - which she accepted in a dress made of meat.

During her Video of the Year acceptance speech, the 24-year-old belted out a few lyrics while announcing her new album will be titled "Born This Way".

In related news, Gaga is hopping on the celebrity merchandising bandwagon and has signed a long time licensing deal with Coty Inc.

What this means is that the Lady will be developing signature fragrances for the brand, with her first scent due out in Spring 2012.

Everybody can't forget the moment at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech.

One year later, Taylor definitely took the high road by performing a song she wrote in response to the incident called "Innocent".

Taylor took the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 with her band to sing the track off of her upcoming Speak Now album, and looked quite intense throughout the performance.

Swift’s lyrics seemed to be forgiving and encouraging to Kanye West, with a theme of learning from mistakes and moving on.

As for the annually held show, the Helpmann Awards gather the biggest names in theatre to help celebrate excellence and achievement in live performance.

The big winner of the evening was "Jersey Boys", as the story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons won the top prize Best Musical trophy.
