Charlotte Family Portrait Photographer; Summer Session

Charlotte Spring Family Session ; Cherry Blossom Trees

I always look forward to photographing this sweet family each spring. I’ve been photographing them for many years now and each year gets better and better. After documenting each of the three kiddos as newborns and many family sessions sprinkled in they are definitely one of Peepsake MVC (Most Valuable Clients). I especially enjoy the help the girls give me. They love to be my “assistant” and even grabbed a photograph of me at the end of the session. I was excited this year because I couldn’t wait to photograph them in this location. I’ve been eyeing this location for years and finally got permission from the property owners to hold sessions there. It photographed so beautifully!

I had been waiting to do Baby Henry’s Newborn photos ever since I met this sweet family in the fall. He was every bit as adorable and sweet as I thought he would be. I adore that he has such an excited and protective older brother. My kids are almost 5 years apart so I have a soft spot for siblings with larger age gaps…and brothers in general. Charlotte can be so beautiful in the fall and its my photograph time to have a family session. This is the second year I have photographed this family (view the first here). We had such a great time with Mary Catherine and Dustin. We hiked up a wonderful little trail that revealed some beautiful views. These two lovebirds were complete naturals during the session, laughing and enjoying each others company. We can’t wait to photograph their beautiful Fall wedding this year. This Charlotte family session was so fun for me. I have worked with this sweet family numerous times and I absolutely adore them! I first met them when doing newborn photos for their oldest boy Marshall. Since them I’ve done newborn photos for Buxton, family photos and pregnancy announcement photos. Sara is an amazing designer with Salted Ink and she drew the amazing swan you see on my site and also hand drew my logo! She is seriously so talented! We got together last fall to snap some photos around their side of town to document their sweet life in Charlotte. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites! Im definitely looking forward to photographing their newest addition on the way.

Morrow Mountain Engagement: Noelle + Dan

Noelle and Dan’s Morrow Mountain engagement session was a recent favorite of mine. They are such a sweet and genuine couple. Also, Noelle is an amazing pasty chef at the Ballantyne Hotel. Her deserts leave me drooling at the screen, go see for yourself here. They are getting married out of state however, they did want to document their engagement session locally. When I asked what kind of things they enjoy doing together she replied that they are a adventurous duo and enjoy hiking and spending time with their sweet pup. So, we planned to meet at Morrow Mountain. We had a great time checking out the views and being attacked by the lady bugs together.
