SMILE... The power of smiling is studied by researchers worldwide. One of the most fascinating lectures on the power of smiling was conducted during a TEDx conference by Ron Gutman. Watch this video and learn the power of smiling.
Freedom to love who you want. Freedom to dance on the beach alone and just relish living.

Freedom from the constraints, beliefs, expectations, messages and rules you learned when you were younger and are carrying around with you now. Baggage, heavy bags that pull you down.

Over the years I've lighten my load. Removing negative images of myself from my mind. Letting people go who weren't good for my spirit, energy levels or life. Setting boundaries with people who didn't behave in a way that supported my positive, enthusiastic, brilliant spirit.

It is a life long project. I encourage you to look at your life:

Financially - How are you income levels? Your prospects? What are you promoting to gain greater income? What state are your papers in? Your accounting system? All are reflections of beliefs that you hold about money, about your self worth and lessons learned from people. One thing I have absolutely learned - Don't take advice from people who haven't been there, overcame and succeeded. If they never went after a big deal how would they know what to do? If they never confronted their fear of asking for a sale how would they really know what works?

Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually, Intellectually

How are you doing? Do an assessment. It isn't your DOING that is the problem. It is what you BELIEVE and THINK. Actually it is always what you think and believe, always.

Your thoughts and beliefs are the cause. What you have is the effect.

Freedom comes when you realize YOU are the cause. What YOU think about yourself, the world, money, health, love, everything brings you the results that you are having. PERIOD. PUNTO. FINAL.

"My talents, ideas, perspective and courage are
needed in today’s world. It is time for me to know my value. I must communicate my value to others. I appreciate the value I bring to our world."

This affirmations are from my new book - "Pegine's Manifesto For Taking Charge and Leading in A Diverse World - Ten Truths That Will Change the Way You Lead"

"How I do what I do is important. I do the best that I am capable of at this moment. I am a shining gem. My attitude is valuable. I influence people with my attitude.

I have leverage. The people I know are valuable. I actively connect with people. I network. I give value by sharing my knowledge, my connections and my experience.

My ideas are valuable. When I share my ideas I innovate, create and propel our world to new heights. I am a leader. I am

I do them all except for THE ONE you know. THE ONE that gets your heart going. THE ONE that can draw you to the negative side, THE ONE that you promised yourself, your coach and your lucky star that you would do.

That one.

It is so funny. I can write books, stand in front of thousands of people and speak. I can be tough, I can call the shots. I run a think tank that serves corporations and the federal government. I know that I have the ability to do THE ONE but some days it stalls me.

I'm laughing at myself because there are clear signs that I am confronting THE ONE

Confusion

I don't know what to do? Where do I start? OMG!!! I don't know how. The moment I start having these thoughts I know I am confronting THE ONE. It is at that moment that I want to take me by the shoulders, shake myself, and say GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF! Most times I don't do that. I do remind myself that it is easy."Just pick up the phone, talk, hang up and do it again". THE ONE can be the phone call, or the letter, or the confrontation. When I feel confused it is a sign. So I just DO IT... THE ONE... Done.

Hunger

Wow... I need to take a break my tummy is rumbling No, its not. That is a habit that removes you from doing THE ONE. You just ate two hours ago and you are definitely not hungry. Just DO IT... THE ONE... Done..

Fear

The world is going to collapse, They are coming to take me away!! The boogie man is coming! Fear stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. Whatever I can imagine good or bad, negative or positive it all appears real. I'd rather chant the visionary mantra Positive Visions Manifesting Now . Why should you or I automatically go for the negative? I've learned that if I do THE ONE gifts follow. Confidence, clarity, and joy. Just DO IT... THE ONE... Done.

Distraction

Shiny, pretty, glittery catches my eyes. I don't want to do IT. I want to play, I want to wander, I want to avoid. Please...let me play. (Moms, sound familiar). Just DO IT... THE ONE... Done.

Here is what you get when you complete THE ONE

O You get a standing ovation
BOO HOO!!!

There is so much to explore, experience and appreciate.

I get that times can be tough. Really, I understand and can appreciate the fears, frustrations, and even anger that you may be feeling. Been there, done that.

I've paid the price of worry, fear, giving up, feeling hopeless and just plain scared to tears.....

It DIDN'T HELP ME ONE BIT!!

I didn't feel any better.
It didn't make me any money.
It didn't help my marriage.
It didn't make me feel good about myself.

On the contrary... it made life SUCK!!!

I love my life now. I love who I am and I love how I do things. I love that I get to make a huge difference in my life and the lives of the people around me.

I paid the price of thinking BIG, of thinking thoughts of ABUNDANCE, GRATITUDE, and LOVE.

I chose to have courage and FUN while working myself through the mud. I challenged myself to be positive and powerful.

I love this picture. He is choosing to go through the challenge. He is committed to moving through the mud. He WILL WIN over himself.

He is a master of his fate.

Love that. I am the mistress of my fate. People know me as "The Motivational Dominate-Tricks"

I use all the tricks in my tool box to DOMINATE my mind.

Here are a couple of power tricks:
1: I read books. This week I read "How Rich People Think" by Steve Siebold How Rich People Think

2: I listen to powerful audios and study them. This week I'm studying
The Master Key System [CD on Demand]

3. I write what I want to think on cards. I carry them with me.

Here is what I have learned. The people who have financial freedom take these actions. The people who have amazing marriages take positive actions. The people who are healthy take action.

Be couragous. Be TOUGH... BE DIFFERENT than the rest of the crowd. Invest in you!!!!

I loved reading about success, leadership, diversity and motivation and I can honestly say that those authors saved me.

The greatest lesson I learned... the number transformational lesson I learned is:

Thinking is Power

Thinking about what you want and who you are.
Thinking positively or negatively about yourself, or others, or your world determines what you receive and see.

I've thought negative thoughts and I've thought positive thoughts. Positive is better.
I've cried in sadness and laughed in joy. Laughing is better.
I've seen the negative in others and wanted to criticize them and I've seen in the same people their magnificence and potential... magnificence is better.
I've seen all that I have and I've seen all that I didn't have. Seeing prosperity is better.
I've thought lack and I've thought abundance. Abundance is better.

My gift to you is permission. Permission to think phenomenal powerful wonderful thoughts. Of your life as you can imagine it in all its possibilities.

During my darkest moments when I was a teen I would go into my room and dream of a magical, beautiful life. Sometimes I would cry out to God that I had this intense desire to be more than I was. I thought that I wasn't enough but I had dreams of more. I didn't dream of winning the Olympics, or being a famous rock star, or scaling Mount Everest.

I dreamed/thought of my family filled with love. I dreamed/thought of having wonderful kids who had a Dad who adored them. I dreamed/thought that I would travel and that I would leave the Bronx. That I would have a career that made a difference and that I would be on TV and on a stage -but not acting. I really, really wanted to be me - not act. I wanted to be in an environment that was free of drugs and alcohol (sister was the local junkie - Dad an alcoholic). I dreamed/thought of being an expert - in something...to be passionate about something for years. I dreamed/thought about that for the longest time. Even when my circumstances didn't reflect my dreams. I was also chided because I went to 'lala land" or 'fantasy land'.

Those times made me so happy. I felt so alive and so joyous. so free. It didn't matter what was happening around me.

In reflection and looking back I am so grateful that:

1. I have two wonderful kids who choose to serve the country, finish college and volunteer to help others. They are really funny, smart and awesome.
2. A husband who adores his kids. They are his world.
3. Drugs and alcohol were not in my world. Others did it around me but it was never and has never been in my world.
4. I am passionate about motivation, diversity and leadership. It is drives my soul and spirit. I am so filled with gratitude that I get to serve others
5. I'm out of the Bronx and have been for many, many years.
6. People consider me an expert. I love to learn and to grow. There is so much out there for all of us to gain.
7. I speak on stages and appear on TV.
8. I get to give back and help others be more, do more and have more.

If there is anything I can give you it is permission to go into Lala land. Think/dream all the time. Think & dream of what you want for yourself today, right now. Be powerful and dream big. There is so much potential and magnificence in you. You are the source of so many brilliant ideas and work. Please, please think good thoughts. Think of your potential. Think of what you want.

Let people tease you about your dreams... dream anyway.
Let others say it can't be done.... dream and do anyway.
Take your thoughts and goals out during your morning, your lunchtime and in the evening and really splurge on your dreams, indulge in them, and think of them.
Take the time to really think magnificent thoughts about yourself.
Tell your self everything that you want others to say to you. How great you are, how special you are how loving you are.Tell yourself.

LIVE and Dream and live more.

You Were Placed Here To Do Something Magical

You Have to Share Yourself! You were placed here to do something magical. There is no doubt in my mind that you are here to do something extraordinary... not just once.. but for the rest of your life.

Haven't you ever felt it? That urge inside (deep inside) to do something, say something or just go for it? That urge that says "I HAVE TO DO THIS"

But you don't.

I'm telling you... you have to go after whatever your dream is. Nothing else matters. I know this is hard for you to get... but you have to trust that all will work out for your best.

When my kids were little I wanted to open my own business, to speak, to write and share my message with the world. At the same time, I didn't want to lose my family. I had this fear that if I went after my dream I would lose them. I guess I got caught up reading the disaster marriages and family life in magazines. I didn't want that for myself.

However... I just couldn't get it out of my head what I wanted to do. I kept thinking about it over and over and over.

When my now 25 year old, was 3 years old and my daughter was an infant, I took them to the local library for the Mommy and Me program. There were about ten moms who went every week. I knew lots of songs (as a young adult I owned nursery schools in Spain). We would all sing together and talk about parenting, life, dreams and, of course, the kids. One day the mom's came to me with a package tied with a bow. Inside the package was a letter from the local parent's magazine inviting me to write a column.

The mothers knew about my dream (or what I thought was a fantasy). They took it upon themselves to get the column for me. They believed in me more than I believed in myself.

It was the beginning. I can say that today both kids grew up well, I am happily married to the same man and soul mate. I didn't lose my family...I gained a life. You can read more about me here.

All I know is that you won't lose what is dear to you...if is right for you. You can achieve your dreams... one step at a time.

There are some guidelines however:

1- Whatever it is should not harm another. In other words -- do what you need to do in such a way that you respect your desires and don't destroy someone else in the process. Egotistical, self centered behavior is not what I am talking about. I am talking about your hearts desire that says "Go for it...." Sing because the talent and drive is a gift, speak because the talent and drive is a gift, write because it is what you know you must do. Honor yourself and honor the people around you, it works out when you go after your dream honorably.

2- Go after your dream and know you are only in charge of your thoughts and actions. Not YOUR timeline. You will have to go through lots of challenges, obstacles, and lessons. Stay focused, keep going. Eventually the lock unlocks.

3- Be uncomfortable. Get use to it. You will stretch, learn and grow...the whole process will make you uncomfortable. Enjoy it, experience it and live it.

4- Ask for help. SUCK IT UP! and ask for the advice and help. When is is offered LISTEN and say thank you.

No one is going to think for you. As a matter of fact, they can't even think for you - even if they wanted to. You can become influenced by people - but since most people don't believe THEY can achieve wild success they can't help YOU achieve wild success. YOU have to kick your own butt.

Those that succeed are individuals willing to think differently than group think. The individual who chooses to take charge of his or her own life. Every female leader, multicultural maverick multimillionaire, physically challenged champion, every CEO, CDO and HR leader, every single success story...knows that sometimes they have to kick their own butt to ensure that they don't get caught in group think and negativity.

It takes commitment to yourself. I understand that it is hard. I understand that sometimes your negative talk can take your down. The truth is that only you can kick your own butt before anyone can help you. I know what I'm talking about. Hey I wrote the book Sometimes You Need to Kick Your Own Butt (You can buy your copy by clicking on the link.)

Did you know that even top motivational speakers and experts on leading in a diverse world have down moments? Hey, we are human. Here are three strategies I use, because they work.

1- I always have at the ready customized MP3 affirmations. As a member of my coaching program every member receives their own customized affirmation MP3. Listening to affirmations acts like a trigger that shifts your thinking to the thoughts you want to have. Too often people stay in their negative mindsets when they can easily shift their thinking by using an external source that guides their thinking.

2- I have at the ready on my phone or in my bag uplifting reading material. Sometimes it is a book, sometimes it is a series of cards that I customized towards my specific goal. I stay focused on where I am going. I LOVE having inspiration from someone who has been there done that. When you are sliding down the negative slope (sometimes when you have a cold your head can get clouded) the cards and reading materials give you something to hold on to.

3- I whip out a piece of paper and start writing at least 20 things that I am grateful for. I NEVER give up until I have 20 items on my list. It immediately shifts my mind towards what I want in my life.

If you don't kick your own butt by taking actions that will keep you out of muddy waters you will never, ever, see the clear waters that surround you that are teaming with opportunities.

No one can do it for you.

I am here to help you create those tools for yourself. I am here to guide you to, to coach you and to kick your own butt. However... you have to take the first step. You have to kick your own butt and say BASTA! ENOUGH! I am worth it. I am worthy of taking myself to the next level. I am worthy of success.

I want the best for me.

I'm happy to share my coaching program with you. However, you have to be willing to kick your own butt and join a group of like-minded, powerful, focused, mavericks who choose to succeed and reach their highest potential.

It is as though you are having an out of body experience. You can see yourself doing behaviors that are going to hurt you, you know you are thinking thoughts that are just making you feel awful.

If you are reading this then I know that you are someone who reads self development materials, you seek to improve yourself and you have invested money, time and energy....yet still you have one of those days when your head can screw you up.

That is when you need a champion, a coach, a friend who is willing to kick you in your own butt.

Here is what that person can do for you when you head is screwed up... They can
2- Make you laugh.
3- Piss you off as they tell you what you need to hear.
4- Give you a different perspective.
5- Provide you with solutions.
6- Love you unconditionally.

I am grateful for my daily review.

Daily look over and see what you have accomplished. See the courageous acts you took. Notice the focus... you are focusing on the positive actions that you took.

I know what I want.

Have a detailed description of what you want. Include your wants for the next week, the next five months, every quarter and each year. Have a five year want plan. If you don't plan it you cant take courageous actions to get there.

I take responsibility if it doesn't come because I didn't take serious action.

Review you daily actions and note the actions you didn't take or go after. The times you said shoulda, would, or coulda. This is not to beat yourself up but to notice what action you didn't take. You can't get results without action. Now let it go. Learn from it.

Magical thinking doesn't bring results.

Dreaming is great if you can transfer it to a vision for yourself and then ACT from that vision. Before Donald Trump was.... THE DONALD... he acted like THE DONALD... he was THE DONALD before we all knew it. The important part was that HE KNEW IT. You have to ACT from the vision.

Confident visioning tied with serious action brings results.

Confidence is the illusive, internal faith that you can do what you say you will do. Dictionary.com defines confidence as "belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence." Some people have this easy confidence... they just know. Others, like me, have had to work on it. You build confidence through daily reviews, applauding yourself for jobs well done and really having faith in the "dream" that keeps popping up. If you have something positive that keeps popping up, know and have faith that you will always be given the resources to do it.

That "dream" must be converted to a detailed vision, then a plan. Finally you will have to take serious, focused action to receive it. One thing that I have learned is that it doesn't matter how long it takes... you have to keep on keeping on until you have accomplished your mission.

Who knew that a daily review could have so much power!!!
Author and Speaker, Pegine (Peg-een), www.pegine.com, motivates leaders in a diverse world and empowers people to be leaders.

Jacksonville Jaguars is the first NFL Team Owned By A Minority

Shahid Khan will be the first minority to be a controlling owner of an NFL team. This is great news for Jacksonville, FL The city has struggled with racial and religious tension for years. Jacksonville demographics are changing rapidly as well as their economic engines which became increasingly global because of its powerful logistics hubs.

"Khan's presence, publicity and support of Jacksonville is an opportunity that is a major gift to our community" says internationally recognized expert on(and Jacksonville based) leadership in a diverse world, Pegine Echevarria, MSW, CSP she goes on to say "Jacksonville is primed and ready to be one of the nations leading logistics hubs. The waterways, interstates and railways allow easy access to the rest of the country. Global corporations and international investors are interested in Jacksonville, however concerns regarding Jacksonville's acceptance of diverse people hinders some of that growth. According to one of my clients (who I can't name) they chose NOT to locate their corporate headquarters here because of their perception of Jacksonville's race and religious issues."

Jacksonville is home to CSX - a leader among corporations in diversity and inclusion. CSX was named one of 2011 Diversity Inc.s Top 50, a huge honor. Jacksonville is now ready to be seen throughout the world as a powerful diverse community. The community also elected Mayor Alvin Brown their first black Mayor in June 2011.

Ms. Echevarria continued "Jobs are a on everyone's mind. It is up to Jacksonville residents to be pro-active and welcome Khan and his team, while communicating to the world that Jacksonville is a global community, inviting and accepting those who want to succeed, live and grow prosperously, harmoniously while enjoying the abundance that Jacksonville offers."

Pegine Echevarria, MSW, CSP was named by Society of Human Resource Management as one of 100 Global Thought Leaders on Diversity and Inclusion. Her company Team Pegine Inc. is located at the Beaver Street Enterprise Center. She is accepting invitations from Jacksonville based groups to speak on how they can be active leaders in a diverse world.

Wayne Weaver said "Shahid Khan is a great American success story and he will be an outstanding owner for this franchise and for this community. I am excited for the team and for our great fans because Shahid will bring passion and commitment to the job. He is committed to restoring a winning tradition here in Jacksonville."

Khan came to the United States from his native Pakistan in 1967 and attended the Univeristy of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1970, he began working for Flex-N-Gate Corporation. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Khan began a new business designing and manufacturing innovative lightweight, continuous metal bumper systems, with no seams to corrode or rust. Nearly two-thirds of all North American pick-up trucks and sport utilities have bumper systems based on Khan's designs.

In 1980, Khan purchased Flex-N-Gate. It now employs more than 10,000 associates at 48 manufacturing plants with annual sales exceeding $3 billion.

Khan has been a major donor to the University of Illinois. In September, he and his wife, Ann Carlson Khan, made a $10 million donation to the Urbana-Champaign campus.
Author and Speaker, Pegine (Peg-een), www.pegine.com, motivates leaders in a diverse world and empowers people to be leaders.

Leadership at its Worst

The last few days my office has received frustrated calls from senior management from three different organizations about difficult managers who are hurting productivity, employee engagement and causing EEO issues. All three of the managers are females. I say that because we are hearing more EEO complaints about female leaders over the last few months.

There is a difference between being a feisty, fearless, focused, fun female leader and a tyrant, tease and turncoat.

Tyrants scream, abuse, ridicule others in public, intimidate and create a workplace environment of fear, frustration and sabotage. Not only do they intimidate their employees --- they intimidate their leaders. Tyrants may be experts in their fields, however this is the perfect time to rein them in and give them a choice - change or leave. Leaders fear them because they 'might' sue the company. It’s funny how they don't fear the employees of the tyrant. It is time for the leadership team to be fearless and focused on outcomes - increased productivity, enhanced employee engagement and ownership of the environment.

Speak candidly to the employee pointing out the negative behavior. Document your meeting, bring HR into the meeting if necessary.

Set clear expectations of corrective behavior.

Have a meeting with her staff. Let her team know that you know. Let her know that her power source (intimidation) has ended. How you say it will be important, however, it’s more important is that it is said. Check with HR and Legal for wording if necessary but do not keep quiet.

Teasers want everyone to like them. Teasers know that they have no power to give promotions or raises and what they really want is power. They like the way it feels to have an employee excited or feel great because of what they can do for others. Teasers dangle promises in front of people without any intention of following through because they can't, but hey, so what, the employees don't know that. She usually starts with "If you do this, I'll do that...." or "you are so GOOOOOD, I will get a raise for you." Sooner or later people figure out that the Teaser can't follow through. Good people may start leaving the company out of frustration over thoughts that the company' lied to them, when in, fact, it was the Teaser. Senior leaders are kept in the dark. People may not share the truth in their exit interview; because people often feel senior management 'should know'. Here is how you as the leader can know.

Check your employee retention, commendation and promotion stats every quarter.

Note how many employees are leaving or transferring from a particular manager. Note how many commendations letters are coming from managers - not enough or overkill are two big warning signs of problems with your management team.

Be Fearless and take action. Coach the Teaser and give her training. Teasers are often lacking professional & leadership development training. They don't know motivational techniques; they are unaware of various employee engagement techniques. Give them training or you will lose good people.

Assess your own training needs. Teasers need guidance from you. You may not know how to give it...uh oh.. are you a teaser? Get help now.

Turncoat are defined in Webster's online dictionary as "A disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion or political party or friend etc." in this case a disloyal person who betrays his employees/team. While a manager is responsible for implementing policies, achieving goals defined by senior management and accomplishing it all profitably and cost effectively, the successful manager does this with the support of his employees and team. Like a great salesperson, a great manager is someone employees know, like and trust. They know what she stands for, her principles and her vision for the group. Generally they like the manager appreciating her strengths and aptitude, they trust the manager to do the right thing and ensure that employees have the tools and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently. The turncoat is out for one thing only, them self. She is willing to leave the team in the dust when she sees an opportunity that requires a complete shift of philosophy. Turncoats create environments of mistrust, self-serving attitudes and a cover your butt mentality among employees. Most of all a turncoat creates low productivity, low profits and low employee engagement. It is dangerous for a company to be swayed by a turncoat. Leaders must take notice their managers, pay attention to the environment and know when they are being played.

Leaders should do walk-throughs regularly. Notice the environment; notice how employees react to you and to their managers. Compare it to other areas.

Check in with your gut. If you feel something isn't right, you are probably right, check it out.

Have regular coaching sessions with your managers, one on one. Don't wait for their yearly review. Your productivity numbers depend on your coaching ability.

Stay focused, take notice of when your ego is being stroked.

Think Apple stores. They always seems like they are packed. Go to H&M (a clothing store) - the stores are always buzzing and always exciting. They are always changing their stores around, always putting things in different places.

Time to FREAK your mind.

Now look around your office or home. When was the last time you changed things around? Try putting a lamp in a different place. That action is enough to make a shift in energy. Turning a table around...makes your mind think something is different. It says "Whoa...what is going on here?"

Think about your mind. Are your thoughts going round and round? Are you thinking the same thing? Are you stuck in what was and not looking at what opportunities lie ahead? It is time to change it up. Push yourself to learn something different. To be different. Yikes... think of all the things you do the same way, all the time. Change it up. Switch it up.

If you have ever thought a negative thought about yourself. Your really should read my new book. Just sign up at www.Pegine.com and I will send the eBook to you for FREE. Change your thoughts and your world will change.

When you do something different you talk about it to others. Now you have something new and different to share

When you change things around you wake up your consciousness, you let go of robotic actions and see things differently

When you change your thoughts you become a different, unique person.

Take care,
Author and Speaker, Pegine (Peg-een), www.pegine.com, motivates leaders in a diverse world and empowers people to be leaders.

I call it BUBBLE WRAP of your BRAIN!!!

- You are a female who believes in a glass ceiling
- You are a manager who believes that you have no power

- You are a person of color and believe that "they" are not diverse.
- You aren't earning ____ dollars and can't imagine you can.

Stop blocking yourself with your bubble wrap.

Question yourself regularly.
1- What rules do you live by that stop you from moving to the next level?
      - Nice girls don't cause problems
      - I can only control people if I can fire them
      - I _____. 'They' can't relate to me

2- Who haven't you called, invited to lunch or asked for help?

People write people off before they even pick up the phone to invite people to lunch or ask for help.
Get over the fear. DO IT NOW. The worse thing that will happen is that someone will answer who has an attitude and you won't get through. BIG FREAKIN deal!! They didn't shoot you and your not dead.

ASK for it now!

I think you are awesome. I think you are great. Stop being so whiny and just do call.
O, don't you relish the adventure and thrills of being yourself. Of doing what you know you want to do, to share what you know you want to say. Too often people don't say what they want to say because "Its not nice." "What would s/he think of me?" or "I'd sound angry".

I don't get it. You can be so happy being YOU. Which is magnificent, brilliant, unique and wonderful.

But, no, you would rather be polite.

So it is okay for someone to take up your time with boring conversations when you are supposed to be working.
Its okay to tolerate someone's rudeness, or pompous attitude and not call them on it- because its so much better to seethe about it for hours after?
Its okay to have someone dominate a meeting (so they can hear themselves talk) but not serve the rest of the team. What is that about???

If being 'polite' is killing your spirit or your truth then that isn't being polite...it is abusive. You are abusing yourself by keeping quiet.

You are as valuable and worthy as the next person. You do not have to tolerate inconsiderate, self absorbed, pompous behavior. Tell your truth.

Screw it.... Be courageous. It is your life.

You are amazing.
I LOVE being happy.

“People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates.” – Thomas Szasz

“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.” – Aldous Huxley

“I think somehow we learn who we really are and then we live with that decision.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

"To be yourself is to be who you always wanted to be" - Pegine

Our journey is really a discovery of the traits, the quirks, the passion and the manner in which we (you and I) enjoy living. Eventually you become okay with who you are.

Over the last few years I've been really happy being ME. It is as though so many pieces of me have come together. The love of sparkly rhinestones and studs. The joy of wearing black and being bold. The pure exhilaration of wrapping my self in my enthusiasm. It feels like a great, wonderful, soft, old, cashmere blanket that makes me feel like me!

Growing up my enthusiasm would cause me problems.

People would want me to calm down, harness my enthusiasm. Sometimes I felt trapped.

Even though my enthusiasm made many people happy others were uncomfortable. "Tone it down", "You are too much", "You wear rose colored glasses", the best one was "You are so stupid, Life is hard, be serious"

Man.... those words dampened my truth. It dampened what I knew inside to be truth for me.

Until.... I decided....screw it!!! FREAK YOU ALL!!! I LOVE being happy. I love being enthusiastic. I love being bold, being frank, being tough, being funny. I LOVE IT!!!

If it makes you feel uncomfortable.... that is not my problem.

Oh the freedom!!!

The joy and the ability to do my work with absolute passion and dedication,

I'm serious about taking action, being enthusiastic, influencing others to be more and do more.

I speak with enthusiasm, live with enthusiasm and love all of you enthusiastically!

ROCK ON~~

Help Others First

Transformation is needed now. I learned that what I focus on is what I get. There are countless philosophers and articles that confirm this.

Give, and it will be given to you. A large quantity, pressed together, shaken down, and running over will be put into your lap, because you will be evaluated by the same standard with which you evaluate others."
Luke 6:38

“Your most precious, valued possessions and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible. No one can take them. You, and you alone, can give them. You will receive abundance for your giving.”
W. Clement Stone

So here is what I am proposing to you. Each of you know something or some way to save money, earn money or receive money. Each of you have a voice that can be used to celebrate someone, to give them a tip, an idea, or a pat on the back. Your actions will give them the courage to ask for what they need. Each of you has the power to introduce someone to another person who has the information, connections or wisdom that the they need.

Imagine that you could save someone $1,000 dollars
Imagine that your support enabled someone to gain $1,000
Imagine that you are willing to share yourself for someone else's gain
Imagine someone doing the same for you

WOW! Our world be a better place

Help someone who has a high achieving high school student, who deserves to attend one of the top universities in the country and who won't apply because their family is suffering financial distress. Please share this link with them http://www.questbridge.org/

Someone shared Questbridge with me several years ago which enabled me to change several young people's lives including that of my own child. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS.

For those of you who have children, meet the criteria and are reading this know this is a gift for you and your family. It arrived just for you. Take action now. Don't wallow in pride...thank your spirit, have your child apply and share it with others.

In order to provide you, leader, with more insight, tools and motivation so you can be more, do more and have more. I will be putting free articles, links and gifts from some of my friends on my site. Check in a check out what is available for you now. http://www.pegine.com/pegine-downloads.html
(founder of Girl Scouts) and Ronald Reagan inspired people, and empowered people to be more, do more and have more. They built a vision for the US that was a positive vision, a view of the world of possibilities and the courage to say it over and over again. All believed in the power of vision, all; believed that if you had the courage to keep the vision alive, to remind people of their power - not by force but by thought that individuals, our country and our world can be miraculous.

When their world became infected with hate, fear, anger and negativity it took courage to pull themselves up and brush themselves off and once again say "I believe in the power within, I believe in our future. I believe in our ability to succeed and I will not stop until we do."

I do believe in the power of our thought. I believe that we are destined for greatness. I believe that our daily actions and reactions can be a powerful force for prosperity, positive results and I am willing to be courageous and be positive.

You are our future. You are the power, the conduit for all good. Stay out of the mud, stay out of the negative - believe, be strong, think big. Together we can achieve great things!
Author and Speaker, Pegine (Peg-een), www.pegine.com, motivates leaders in a diverse world and empowers people to be leaders.
