See, the problem with hoping to get a blogaround done during the weekend is that, so far, all I've managed to do is sleep a lot. I knew my body had broken down a bit from stress and long hours, but I was kind of hoping for more energy. So I've downscaled my expectations from "doing a blogaround" to "hoping I get all my blog reading done." And perhaps clear out older Silly Sites, like this one from around the beginning of April, before the joke is too dated:

So when I was picking up my comics yesterday I got interviewed for Marvel Radio, which is apparently a real thing in the world even though I can't look it up because I'm not a subscriber. I plugged the heck out of my husband's work, as he's done numerous jobs for Marvel over the years and would love to work with them again, but I do wish I'd said more about women in comics (my Friends of Lulu skills seem to be out of practice) and especially that I'd known about this, as I would have plugged it to the hilt:

Well, it took till the very last minute with my boss, but I finally got all his stuff packed up and ready for our move to a brand-new floor. Monday we begin unpacking; oy! No rest for the weary. But I'm going to be amusing myself into a stupor this weekend, so I may as well pass some of it on. This one goes out to all the new grads out there: Randall Munro's Every Major's Terrible. Happy Cinco de Mayo, Kentucky Derby Day and, more relevant to my interests, happy Free Comic Book Day! Robin and I will be spending it behind a table at the Kids' Comic Con, right in our own neighborhood (technically our old neighborhood, a few blocks down from the apartment building in which we lived before our current location), where I hope to give away some free comics on which Robin has worked to the attending kids. And since it is in our neck of the woods, I'm also getting my usual Saturday errands done!
