I received a letter from my STBX lawyer and there where clearly statements in the letter that my daughter's therapist has spoken directly to my wife's attorney. Details in the letter lead me to believe that that conversation was very detailed.

Is it allowed for a therapist to speak to council directly?

I have spoken to the therapist and she has stated she doesn't want any of her work in court and she won't take the stand and testify in court either

I have already decided to have my daughter start seeing a new therapist for a second opinion. I have no experience and this just doesn't feel right. I'm starting to doubt the qualifications of this therapist. Does this seem right?

I was trolling another board and I came across the post below. This seems inaccurate to me, but I'm hoping Spaz will comment on this.

I do not know who all knows this & what states this matters in a divorce...But in my state if you sleep with your stbx after you file for a divorce it starts the case all over with & also if you let them back in the home it is considered a new start...So lets just say if I let my stbx back home instead of a 28 year marriage they would consider it only a year & I would lose a lot...Also by my stbx moving out it is consider abandonment, he would have been better off staying here till the divorce was final...Never move out of the home if you do not have to...I only wanted to state this because I read a lot of the husbands trying to sleep with some & I wouldn't be sure if they know this & maybe trying to trick some of you in the divorce procedures...I have a lot to watch because my stbx & his family are trying all they can not to have to give me what he will have to give in the final divorce...Good Luck to all in your final divorces
