Everyone is up in arms about what is in his safe. Some are asking if there really is a safe. Some are pinning their hopes on a treasure trove of writing and others think if there is work it may not be as great as hoped. Joyce Maynard who was involved with Salinger in her early years wrote a memior of the time she was with him called <a target="_blank" href="http://www.amazon.com/At-Home-World-Joyce-Maynard/dp/0312202296?ie=UTF8&tag=pens-to-paper-20&link_code=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969">At Home in the World</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=pens-to-paper-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=0312202296" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important; padding: 0px !important" />, believes he did safekeep all his writing. At Home in the World has been derided as one sided and some have even called her liar out-right. The site is not limited to scholarships for writers but many other professions as well such as: nursing, military, art and music.
