As you know, I'm not only a fashion blogger but also a lifestyle and design blogger. I love to share my life on social media, I love to write about more and less important things and topics on my blog and I love to post photos about my lifestyle, about my outfits and my friends/family.

Long story short: I love to be a blogger.

It's something I would call my passion, which I discovered 4 years ago. I started with a lifestyle blog with my friends, continued to post independent lifestyle posts on my own blog and deleted everything after I saw that nobody read my posts.

I was very disappointed, asked myself if it was worth to continue, and decided at an age of 12 that I didn't want to spend my time on posts which nobody read.

After a long period, I started my "career" on blogger. And that was it: I got the attention I wanted. I was very pleased with myself and my work. But after very bad things happened in my life (not to mention that I was very young these days) I stopped again. My dream, to become a famous blogger, died.

To be honest, a passion is nothing, you can give up so easily. After everything seemed to get in order again, my life became less stressful and eventually, I could focus on myself again.

I tried to build my community, I tried to get the attention which I got a few years ago. But all of that was gone. Again, I was only one blogger in a sea with plenty of bloggers. I was a nobody in the blogger business. But I didn't give up. Because I had a dream, and still, have a dream.

Sometimes, I just want to help people with my blog. I want to share my lifestyle, my advised and my ideas, how you can create a life from which you don't need a vacation. And a life, which you can enjoy to the fullest.

But there is more to that. Sometimes, you live in a pinky-dinky wonderland with dreams and goals, which seem to be unreachable. Some bloggers are able to reach for these stars, some are not. But this doesn't matter. Dreaming is wonderful. And I think, there are dreams and goals, every (fashion) blogger would like to achieve.

Your own brand: Whether it is a clothing brand, jewelry brand, food brand, or whatever, you would like to have products which wear your name on it. And so do I. I would love to have a clothing and jewelry brand with the name "peony crescent" on it.
Going to special events: Who doesn't know the fashion week, the blogger events or the opening of a new store? Everyone would like to go there. It's an honor, to get an invitation because then you know that you, as a blogger and an influencer, are wanted. And this feeling is amazing, or so I think/believe.
Be a well-known person: I mean, if you start a blog, then with the expectation that people would read, what you write and do have to say. I mean, it wouldn't make a sense if not, unless you want to use your blog for yourself and your thoughts and it doesn't matter to you if anyone finds your blog or not. But for the bloggers, who would like to get reads on their blog, as I would like to get, also, would like to be famous, or at least well-known.
Be the change in the world, you would like to see: This is especially for the lifestyle and motivation bloggers. They (and me) want to make a change in the world. And if our posts help only one person, then this is all we asked for. We're aware of the fact that we are not able to change the world on our own, but we can be able to change the world for just one person. And this is one of the best feelings, you can get.

Surely, this is not everything we set as our goals or our dreams. There are plenty of them, but I think that everyone thinks differently about that. I do not say that every blogger dreams about the aspects I mentioned above. I'm only saying that these are my dreams and that there are many other bloggers who dreamed and achieved these goals, and other bloggers like me, who are still dreaming and working for them.

And as I said in the last sentence: It is important to work for them, because dreaming is something, everyone can do. Everyone can set goals, but the ones, who live their dreams, worked for them. They believed that they are abe to get what they want. And I, I want to be this kind of blogger. I want to achieve my goals and after I achieved them I want to be proud of myself because this is the moment, I realized that all my work was worth it.

{ Fashion } Croatia Summer Look

As you know, I was in Croatia in September and it was pretty amazing there. Amazing and hot, to be honest. Ans as a hijabi, it would be... yeah... inappropriate to wear shorts and a top PLUS a hijab (Like, do you know these people? Who actually think that it is okay to cover their head and the rest isn't important at all?).
So, you have to find another solution. You can wear whatever you like, but if you want to have something light and something, in which you sweat less, you can take a look at my look:

It's just a long, black dress without sleeves, so I had to figure out, how I could wear it although.
This way, I chose one of my favorite blouses (black-ish, with many pink, violet, cream flowers) and don it over the dress. To finish my masterpiece, I used a dark violet chiffon scarf and my black slippers.

This is just one look, to be honest, it was the first day in Croatia, and I was pretty amazed, how airy and light it was, so I wasn't sweating like a... Well, just imagine something that sweats very much.

{ Traveling } My Travel Bucket List: Why I want to travel the world.

Well, traveling is more than a hobby. It's a passion. It's something you feel and love. And not everybody gets the chance to travel, not everybody can afford it.

The reason why I crossed out Trieste is because I went there just a few months ago. I only forgot to cross out Pula too. But all in all, this should be my traveling bucket list.

The reason, why I want to travel the world is that I am a person, who can't stay at one place for the rest of her life. To be honest, one place and the regular daily routine bores me very quickly. I have to see new things, new places, new people. I have like an inner compulsion to expand my horizon.

This is like something, which I can't influence. I'm bored, very quickly, if it becomes something like a habit.

Another reason is that cultures, new people, and lifestyles are so interesting that searching and exploring them became a passion. It is not for nothing that I became a lifestyle blogger. I love exploring new lifestyles, changing my own and trying out other lifestyles.

I don't know, how someone can explain the feeling they have when they do something they really love. I mean, just imagine that you are able to do something you love and then multiply it with 1,000,000. That's exactly how I feel when I am traveling.

If you follow my Instagram, you should have noticed that I went to Turkey for two weeks and that I also visited some amazing places. According to the fact that you pretty much know me and my habbits, I took the chance to take some photos of myself and my looks.

One day when we went to one of the historical places in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, I wore my white jeans with my olive green tunic, which pleased some of you so I decided to make a blogpost about my look.

I just love the antique and historicals houses. Like mother like daughter I would say: Mom and I are pretty much the vintage-lovers than the modern type, which means that especially this place was amazing.

It was indeed a little bit like a photoshooting for my little sister an me, who you have got to know in my Pink - White - Black fashion post.

{ Lifestyle } Why TED-Podcasts are inspiring (+ examples).

Most of the time, I'm listening to music, if I want to relax or just to calm a bit down. But music doesn't always cheer me up. Music doesn't always help me with solving my problems. And then, podcasts, especially TED-Podcasts, are an immense help. Podcasts are inspiring, they are motivating, the help me, finding to myself.

I'm not always the sunshine itself, I'm not always smiling. As I said in my last post about why we need to smile more often, I do have bad days in which staying in bed all day is the only option for me. But, if we do not procrastinate cheering up ourselves, motivating and inspiring would become a normal part of our lifestyle. And that, how I already said, is possible through eg. podcasts.

Mostly girls think, that their look isn't enough, that THEY are not enough. They're suffering under less self-confidence and then, they try to aim the models, they're changing, just to impress other people. They try to be somebody else while being THEYSELVE is the better option. Cameron Russel speaks about how looks aren't everything. She's wonderful, and I'm not only speaking about her outward appearance.

"Passion is not a plan. It's a feeling. And feelings change." Terri Trespicio is completely right by saying that. And what does this sentence says about passion? If passion is a feeling, and we all now that feelings change, then passion is changing too, which means, searching for a lifetime passion is an absolute waste of time. So just believe me in what I am, and Terri is saying: If you want to create your life including the passion, of which you thing is a lifetime decision, you're going to fail and you're going to waste your time. You create your life by living it, not live your life after you created one.

To be honest, I wanted to give you more examples. More videos which made me think about myself, about my life, about my happiness. But you know what? When I watched Sams TedTalk, I didn't want to watch one more. I couldn't keep myself from dropping tears while laughing about how beautiful life can be and how someone with a huge burden like Progeria can smile and say, how wonderful life is and how happy he is... I can't believe myself when I'm complaining about so many things, so many unimportant things which are just temporary... I don't have any words left. Just watch the video, just be happy.

Hopefully, I could inspire you with some of these TEDTalks and hopefully, you find yourself smiling while watching, like me. In a destroyed world like this, it is more important to be happy, to have the courage and say: "I want to change something. I want to be the change that I want to see in this world." Well, we all have the opportunities, we only have to make use of them.

Life is tough. Life is exhausting. Life isn't always fair. Life isn't always a bowl of cherries, or like a german would say: "Das Leben ist kein Wunschkonzert".

It's normal that most of the time the people are complaining about their jobs, about their family or about the fact that a plan didn't work out like they wanted. But did you ever catch yourself being pleased with your life? If so, how many times did this happen?

You're perfectly right with saying that the world can be a rough place or that peace doesn't really exist. But don't be so strict with yourself just because the world is. It's not really fair. You deserve better. Everyone deserves better.

Sometimes, a smile is all you need.

Sometimes just one smile can change the entire day for you.

It won't bring peace to the world but believe me: If everyone would start smiling at the same time, the world would be a better place. Just for one moment...

Sometimes, you're in a bad mood. Sometimes, something somewhere doesn't work out. Sometimes, everything you want to do is staying in bed all day. It is okay to feel this way but just remember: So many people on this planet would think that your worst problems would be their easiest. You know what I mean? There is so much more to complain and worry about that we won't be able to LIVE a life. So, instead of worrying so much, be grateful for what you have and enjoy living.
The moment you stop worrying and start doing, is the moment you believe that everything can be solved.
And maybe, only a smile is enough to start thinking like that.

And sometimes, a friend is all you need to be able to smile.

I never thought that a simple trip to a new country can change the way you see and think. I mean, ever since I can remember, my family made these trips to turkey. Yearly, we went to my relatives there and enjoyed our time. It never felt like I was abroad or something. It was my second home over there, nothing... special to be honest. But to be in a country, where nobody knows you and where you can be a complete stranger, a completely new person, is different. It is special and stunning.

So, when I went to Croatia two weeks ago, without my parents, by the way, I felt free for a moment. I was free to decide, where to go, what to do and which people to take with me. Although it was a school trip, I felt free. I felt independent.

As if this wasn't enough, we went over to Italy for one day. Trieste, to be exact. And, oh my god, Italy is the place, where my heart belongs to. I can't describe the feeling when we entered from Slovenia to Italy, I can't describe how excited I was. It was the first time, I thought, my heart was home. I really thought that Italy was the place where I will be living in a few years.

To cut a long story short, when I left Italy, I left my heart there too.

I'm glad that I was able to visit such a beautiful country and such a beautiful town. Trieste is beautiful! I loved it so much and I was so sad that I had to leave it at the end of the day. I wish, every one of you is able to visit Italy some day and hopefully, I will be able to go there another time again.

{ Design } Easy dress shadowing

Hello! To be honest, nobody can be a real designer if you don't practice a bit. You really have to be a super-duper-mega-hero to sketch like a pro from the get-go. And this is the reason why we're practicing shadowing. To design a realistic, a 3D, and how artists are saying, a sculptural drawing, you have to add shadows and highlights. And something more important: Less is more and crucial is the accuracy. //

Hallo! Um ehrlich zu sein, niemand kann ein richtiger Designer werden, wenn dieser nicht übt. Du musst schon übermenschlich sein um von Beginn an wie ein Pro zu zeichnen und designen. Und das ist der Grund weshalb wir das schattieren üben werden. Um eben ein realistisches, 3D, und wie es Künstler sagen, eine plastische Zeichnung erstellen zu können, müssen Schatten und Glanzlichter/Highlights gesetzt werden. Und was noch viel wichtiger ist: Weniger ist mehr, und ausschlaggebend ist die Genauigkeit.

1. First of all, sketch a figure and a simple dress with a pencil and without adding anything special like wrinkles, etc. Just a simple countour of how your dress should be. // Zeichnet als erstes eure Figur und auf diese ein ganz schlichtes Kleid, keine Falten oder sonst was. Einfach nur die Konturen eures Kleides und wie es sein sollte.

2. Now you can add the wrinkles. They should be well placed, as if this is really a realistic dress. Don't forget that women have curves and that they're causing wrinkles too. // Jetzt könnt ihr die Falten ergänzen. Sie sollten gut platziert sein, wie als wäre es ein realistisches Kleid. Und vergesst nicht, dass Frauen auch Kurven haben und dass diese auch für Falten sorgen.

3. Erase the pencil sketch, so you can barely see the contour. Now you have to trace the outline with a fineliner. Black is always a good choice. // Radiere die Bleistiftskizze weg, sodass du nur noch die Contour sehen kannst. Jetzt musst du mit einem Fineliner nur noch die Umrisse nachzeichnen. Schwarz ist immer eine gute Wahl.

4. Now you have your dress with the wrinkles. And, as you know already, wrinkles throw shadows. It's not that difficult. You only have to keep in mind that the fabric under the wrinkle is shaded by the fabric above. So if the wrinkle is placed so that a part of the fabric is above the other part, you have to shadow the part next to the upper fabric, so it seems darker. // Jetzt hast du dein Kleid mit den Falten. Und wie du bereits weißt, werfen Falten Schatten. Es ist nicht besonders schwer. Du musst dir nur merken, dass der Stoff unter der Falte von dem Stoff darüber schattiert wird. Also, wenn die Falte so platziert ist, dass ein Teil des Stoffes über dem anderen Teil ist, muss du den Schatten neben den oberen Stoffteil setzen, sodass der untere Teil so aussieht, als wäre es dunkler.

5. After we set the shadows, we also want to add some colors. Begin with the arms and the neck: Just color it. // Nachdem wir die Schatten gesetzt haben, müssen wir auch einige Farben setzen. Fange mit den Armen und dem Hals an.

6. Just add shadows the way you added in the dress: Often the shadows are at the sides so color it with a darker color. // Nun ergänze Schatten wie bei dem Kleid: Oft sind die Schatten an den Seiten, sodass du diese einfach in einer dunkleren Farbe anmalen musst.

7. The dress is finished after you decided if you want to leave the dress the color you actually had it befor or you decided to color it too. Now you know how to shadow. And with a bit practice you will be able to shadow in the most professional way. I think, some practice for me isn't a bad idea either! // Das Kleid ist fertig sobald du entschieden hast, ob du das Kleid in der Farbe lassen willst oder aber auch anders colorieren möchtest. Jetzt weißt du wie man schattiert und mit ein wenig Übung schaffen wir beide es irgendwann wie ein Pro zu schattieren!

Hello!

Ein wichtiger Bestandteil meines Lebens ist das Planen. Ich plane viel und ich plane gerne, einfach weil ich denke, dass ich viel weniger in Stress gerate, wenn ich mehr plane und strukturiert durch meinen Tag gehe.

Ich gehöre sicher nicht zu den Menschen, die gerne JEDE EINZELNE MINUTE ihres Tages durchplanen, sondern eher zu denen, die sich eine Liste von Zielen machen, die sie in 5 Jahren, in diesem Jahr, in diesem Monat, in dieser Woche und an diesem Tag machen und erreichen wollen.

Angefangen hat alles mit dem YouTube Kanal von Ella TheBee. Ich habe mir ihre Videos angeschaut und schließlich meinen eigenen Kalender gestaltet. Aus einem Kalender, wurden zwei und danach drei. Schließlich habe ich auf Pinterest die verschiedensten Ideen entdeckt und für meine eigenen Kalender benutzt (⊳ Mein Pinterest).

Der erste Kalender ist von paperblanks und heißt "Flutterbyes" bzw, "Schmetterlinge". Diesen benutze ich als mein Hausaufgabenheft, meinen Tagesplaner und als eine Art To-Do-Listen-Buch für die jeweiligen Tage.

Die anderen beiden sind keine wirklichen Kalender, da sie innen drin nur liniertes Papier haben.

Das schwarze Büchlein ist für meine wöchentlichen To-Do-Lists und nichts besonderes. Es ist ein normales Notizbuch.

Das rote Büchlein hingegen ist mein Liebling von allen dreien. Es ist der Ort, an dem ich alles kreative rein schreibe und ich liebe es einfach.

{ Lifestyle } Unterdrückung der Hijabis

Zu Allererst sollte man vielleicht sagen, wer mit Hijabi gemeint ist. Das ist eine Bezeichnung der muslimischen Frauen, die Kopftücher (Þ arab. Hijab) tragen.

Warum ich dieses Thema anspreche? Nun ja, ich wurde letzter Zeit sehr oft damit konfrontiert, bzw. gefragt, ob es nicht eine Art Unterdrückung ist, wenn sich Frauen bedecken. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass es mich, je öfter ich danach gefragt werde oder je öfter Personen das in meiner Gegenwart sagen, einfach total nervt. Es hat meiner Meinung nach nur etwas damit zu tun, dass die Personen sich nie die Mühe gemacht haben, den wahren Grund des Kopftuchs nachzuschlagen, noch jemals hinterfragt haben, was dort in den streng konservativen Ländern vor sich geht, dessen Sicht sie als einziges sehen.

Es dauert vielleicht zwei Minuten um auf dem Smartphone oder auf dem Laptop nach zu schauen, wieso es im Islam die Regel gibt, dass Frauen sich bei Beginn ihrer Pubertät bedecken sollten. Dazu zählt nicht nur die Haare bedecken und die Rundungen verstecken, sondern auch sich in Zurückhaltung üben, die Zunge in Ketten legen und keine böswilligen Gedanken hegen? Das klingt schlimm, sagen mir viele aber vielleicht sollte ich euch mal zeigen, was hinter diesen Wörtern steckt.

„Beurteile ein Buch nie nach seinem Einband.“

Eine Frau soll ihre Haare und ihren Körper bedecken, sowie sich nicht auffällig verhalten und sich nicht schminken: Damit ist niemals eine Burka gemeint gewesen, wie die meisten immer direkt denken. Die Körperteile die wir zeigen DÜRFEN sind das Gesicht und die Hände. Wir dürfen alles anziehen, solange wir nichts von unserer restlichen Haut, noch unseren Rundungen oder unseren Haaren zeigen. Und wozu dient es? Wir sind nach außen hin konservativ, wir sind geschützt von den Blicken und Begierden der Männer. Wir sind geschützt von bösen Einflüssen von außen. Und meine Frage nun: Was ist daran unterdrückend?

Eine Frau soll ihre Zunge im Zaun halten, sowie keine bösen Gedanken hegen: Wenn man das so liest, wirkt es so, als dürfe die Frau nicht sprechen. Aber das ist falsch! Wir sollen nur nichts Schlimmes oder Böses sagen, nicht denken. Wir sollen damit nicht die Gefühle anderer verletzen, wir sollen keinen Zorn hegen. Was ist schlimm daran? Das sind doch menschliche Gedanken oder? Und meine Frage nun: Was ist daran unterdrückend?

Eine Frau soll eine Person des anderen Geschlechts nicht berühren, nicht mit ihm flirten: Was verliere ich, wenn ich den Jungen aus meiner Stufe, der mich zu meinem Geburtstag beglückwünscht, nicht die Hand gebe? Ich würde rein gar nichts verlieren. Ich würde nur die Verwirrung des Jungen ernten, der mir rein gar nichts bedeutet. Und was hätte ich davon, wenn ich vor meiner Hochzeit eine intensive Beziehung führe? Ich hätte rein gar nichts davon, vor Allem nicht, wenn wir beide uns anschließend trennen und ich nur noch Traurigkeit empfinde. Es dient erneut nur meinem Schutz. Der Schutz der Frau. Und meine Frage nun: Was ist daran unterdrückend?

Nun, seht ihr? All das hat einen Grund. All das wird nur zu unserem Schutz gemacht, nur, damit wir alle in Frieden mit einander leben können. Damit wir der anderen Gefühle nicht verletzen, damit wir selber nicht verletzt werden. Und das ist nicht was ich als Unterdrückung bezeichnen würde. Ihr etwa? Nein. Würdet ihr nicht.

Das ist eine Eigenschutzmaßnahme, die nicht mal viel erfordert. Wir müssen nur auf Dinge verzichten, die nichts zu bedeuten haben. Dinge, die wir nicht einmal im Nachhinein bereuen würden, nicht wahr?

Ich bestreite nicht, dass Frauen in Afghanistan oder Frauen in Pakistan, Indien, und was weiß ich noch sonst wo gezwungen werden, ihr Kopftuch zu tragen. Zu Zwangsheiraten gezwungen werden. Von der männlichen Bevölkerung misshandelt werden. Oder dass es auch hier in Deutschland Menschen gibt, die noch immer an die veraltete und vor Allem FALSCHE Form unserer Religion glauben. Aber direkt alle zu verallgemeinern, ist nicht richtig. Überhaupt nicht richtig, nicht moralisch und auch nicht der Wahrheit entsprechend. Deshalb verallgemeinere ich auch nicht unter denen, die kein Kopftuch tragen. Das geht an die, die wirklich denken, wir Frauen hätten keine Rechte, wir Frauen würden uns unterdrücken lassen. Und wenn du noch immer nicht überzeugt bist, lies mit einem nüchternen Kopf nochmal die Punkte oben.

Und jetzt solle mir mal wieder jemand sagen, ich werde unterdrückt.

{ Design } 3 easy Steps: Popsicle

DE: Design ist meine neu entdeckte Liebe. Ich zeichne sehr gerne und vor Allem male ich mit Wasserfarben. Heute wurde es ein Aquarell von "Eis am Stiel".

EN: Design is my new-found love. I love to sketch and especially to paint with watercolors. The todays aquarell are "Popsicles".

1. Zeichne dein Eis am Stiel vor. | Sketch your popsicles.

- Benutze ein Bleistift und zeichne eine vage Vorlage für dein Eis am Stiel.

- Radiere es anschließend so gut weg, dass man nicht mehr dicke Striche hat, jedoch noch die Vorlage erkennen kann.

- Use a pencile to sketch your popsicles.

- Etch the sketch, so you can't see thick lines anymore but recognize your reference.

2. Male mit Wasserfarben. | Paint with watercolors.

- Benutze Wasserfarben in den Tönen, die dir am besten gefallen und fange an, unregelmäßig alles auszufüllen.

- Für ein besseres Bild, kann man die Übergänge weicher machen, indem man die Farben am Treffpunkt vermischt.

- Use watercolors in the tones you like the most and begin filling out the popsicles. It don't have to be very tidy.

- For a better painting, you can soften the segues in mixing the colors when they "meet".

3. Setze Highlights. | Set highlights.

- Damit es echter aussieht, kann man mit Deckweiß Highlights setzen. So sieht es aus, als würde das Eis glänzen.

- To make it look more real, you can use opaque white and paint some highlights, so the popsicle looks shinier.

4. Fertig! | Done!

- Wiederhole diese Prozedur auch bei deinen anderen Zeichnungen.

- Das Bild ist fertig!

- Repeat this procedure at your other popsicles.

- Your aquarelle is done!

Hello!

Wie ihr am Banner schon erkennen könnt, geht es ums Trinken und um genauer zu sein, ums Tee Trinken.

Wenn ihr euch fragt, wie das mit dem "Tee-Trinken" und "Schöner-Trinken" funktioniert, dann seid ihr hier genau richtig!

Nun, die Pflege ist sehr wichtig, vorallem in der Zeit, wenn man sehr viele Pickel hat. Man sollte die richtigen Produkte verwenden und vorallem nicht übertreiben, denn auch zu viel Pflege kann schädlich sein.

So wie die äußerliche Pflege ist auch die Pflege von innen wichtig:

Dazu gehört natürlich ein ausgewogenes und gesundes Essen sowie auch das viele Trinken von Wasser, bis zu 3 Liter am Tag aber auch etwas wohltuendes wie z.B. Tee gehört dazu.

Da wären wir dann auch schon beim Thema. Es gibt viele Tee-Sorten und für was welche gut sind, möchte ich euch mal auflisten.

Grüner Tee

Wirkt gut gegen Unreinheiten, als Dampfbad aber auch zum Trinken
In verschiedenen Sorten des Grünen Tees sind Stoffe drin, die dezent dazu gut sind, den Alterungsprozess, z.B., Faltenbildung, zu verlangsamen
Hilft gegen Fettleibigkeit um die Aufnahme von Glukose in den Fettzellen zu begrenzen
Ist gegen Stress und Angst sehr hilfreich, da die in dem Tee vorhandene Aminosäure zum Abbau hilft.

Kamillentee

Man kann Kamillentee gezielt gegen Pickel verwenden indem man z.B. Dampfbad macht. Diese Inhaltsstoffe (dass diese natürlich sind versteht sich von selbst) sind entzündungshemmend, antibakteriell,blutreinigend und austrocknend.

Oolong Tee

Durch den Tee entgiftet, entwässert und gereinigt, was dann auch auf der Haut zu sehen ist. Zudem ist es ein wirkungsvolles Anti-Aging-Miracle.

Ceylon Tee

Es soll gegen Karies helfen, wenn man täglich den Mund einmal mit dem Tee ausspült
Außerdem soll er die Durchblutung fördern, was einer schönen Haut natürlich zugute kommt

Rooibos Tee

Er ist vor Allem antibakteriell was den Pickeln und Unreinheiten im Gesicht zugute kommen kann
Außerdem ist er gut gegen vorzeitige Hautalterung
es lindert Rötungen
