Welcome back

2011-02-09T00:24:00.000-08:00

1stly I would like to say welcome back from the holiday and Happy Chinese New Year!!!=)
Lately I have stopped blogging not because I want to but I was too busy trying to keep up with my project 365. There are days where you dont really have anything to take, then there are some where you wish you could post more then 1. The road ahead is though with uni coming along, but I am determined to complete my Project 365. Although I might have to backdate some photos...but I am still hoping to complete it. To anyone thinking of starting the project 365 I would say go for it. It is all worth the effort.
Here is a link to my project 365: http://365project.org/yptan92/365/2011-01

Why do you need a macro lens?

2010-07-31T04:07:00.000-07:00

Most people would be asking why should I get a macro lens? If i have a 100mm zoom lens it should be the same as a macro lens.
Well here are 2 picture both shoot at 100mm and at the minimum focus distance for each lens.

100mm on a usual lens

100mm on a macro lens

Notice the different in magnification? Macro lens can make small object much bigger.

How to give your friend a surprise party overseas

2010-07-08T19:27:00.000-07:00

Here are a few tips on how to throw a surprise party for your friend while studying abroad.

1ST : Distraction
A good was to distract a guy is................................................................................................................................................
by asking him to play

DOTA
yes ask him to go out to the nearest CC(cyber cafe). As for girls maybe shopping=)

Step 2 : Decoration
Balloons are a good way. They are cheap and easy to find=)

3rd : CAKE
Get a cake that suit your budget and look presentable also=D
But remember dont eat all the cake while waiting for your friend=) I am sure your friend wont be happy if there r no more cake for the party XD

If all else fail just scare your friend with the balloon=)

Have fun and enjoy
