Okay. The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He’s enjoying the wind and the fresh air-until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore. “My God, this is terrible,” the wave says. “Look what’s going to happen to me! Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him, “Why do you look so sad?”

The first wave says, “You don’t understand! We’re all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn’t it terrible?”

The second wave says, “No, you don’t understand. You’re not a wave, you’re part of the ocean.”

Photoshop actions are a series of tasks that you play back on a single file or a batch of files that can include menu commands, palette options, tool actions, and so on. You can create Photoshop action that changes the size of an image, applies a filter to the image for a particular effect, and then saves the file in the desired format.
Here a series of Photoshop actions I use for photography manipulation. In recent time these have become overused with iPhone apps like Instagram.

Either way, enjoy these freebies.

This screenshot shows the recently replaced version of the Perception Design website. I’ve spent the last few weeks updating the newer version with larger portfolio pics, portfolio categories, adding a blog, and there’s still more to come. I hope you enjoy V7.0*

Using WordPress as a CMS for the new site, I’ve found it robust, simple to update & maintain and am now going to recommend it for most ongoing small to medium site builds.

The core software is built by hundreds of community volunteers, and when you’re ready for more there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine. Over 60 million people have chosen WordPress to power the place on the web they call “home”.

The scalability of WordPress has been fantastic for the variety of clients I’ve had over the recent years. From small start-ups to larger multinational companies I’ve found a solution for all.

If your website needs a make-over, or you’re looking to get online for the first time, contact me for some straight-up advice.
