Our apartment in Southern Norway is ideal for a holiday no matter what the season is. In the summer, the water in the lake is warm enough for swimming. Visiting Norway for a fishing holidays is very popular, you can enjoy catching Mackrell in the Fjord and BBQ's on one of the 100s of small islands. There is a myth that Norway is always cold but we can often enjoy far better summers than the UK and Ireland. Norway in Autumn can be very beautiful. The mist over the lake offers great opportunities for painting or photography or enjoy some berry picking. Blueberries and cranberries grow wild in the forest behind our holiday apartment.

The nearest Wal-Mart is north or south on US27 about 7 miles from the villa.

Is your house easy to find?

How far is it from the airport?

Orlando International Airport is about 30 minutes from the villa. Sanford Airport is approximately 50 minutes away.

Where are the 3 bathrooms?

The villa is ideal for one or two families. As you will see from the photographs, both the master bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The double bedroom and the two twin bedrooms share the 3rd bathroom which opens directly onto the large pool deck.

Is it near Disney?

You are literally a few miles from Disney. Disney is best accessed from the I4. This avoids the morning ‘Disney rush hour’ on the 192. It will take you 15 minutes maximum from leaving the villa to get to the Magic Kingdom car park (in normal traffic). That’s how close you are!

What if we break something in the villa?

We take a security bond of £200 or the waiver fee from villarenters to protect us against loss or damage. Obviously accidents do happen and you will not be liable for minor damage (e.g. broken plate, glasses etc) but we have to protect ourselves from substantial damages and the costs incurred.

Can I bring my pets?

Sorry, no pets are allowed in the villa.

Everyone who has stayed as loved it - Cabanas is about the beach, quiet, good food, families and having a restful time. If you want to be active there are plenty of things like watersports and golf but not a place for nightclubs.

Around 50% of the development is Portuguese owned and the rest mostly Brits and Irish. The Portuguese are big beach fans and rarely use the pools meaning they are very quiet. The beach is so gorgeous with fine white sand and gently sloping into the sea that I have to admit that I rarely go to the pool now - often just in the afternoon for a quick cool down swim after a morning at the beach.

The apartment also has lots of books, games, CDs and DVDs as well as beach equipment to make your holiday the best it can be!

Moulin Bas is a three bedroom cottage beautifully converted from a 17th Century mill. Doors from the terrace, beside the stream, lead into the living room, character kitchen corner with electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge. The valley is a lovely haven of peace; walks upstream bring you to wild wooded countryside. Our single story villa in Harbour View is moments from Jolly Harbour and the beach. 2 King-size beds both with en suites, 2 twins, and family bathroom. All rooms have ceiling fans. Central A/C, with cable TV, & Wi-Fi. Fully kitted kitchen with dish-washer, washing machine/drier and American sized fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & ample cooking utensils and pans.

Fully furnished with towels/linens provided, and a weekly maid service, which can be as frequent as daily if required. The property benefits from having its own private pool and sundeck, with outside dining furniture, sun loungers, and gas barbecue.

The nearest supermarket selling an extensive range of western food is a 10 minute walk, as are the facilities of Jolly Harbour. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk.

Games Room: The games room is purpose built and is therefore not your usual garage make-over, and as such the room is cool, light and airy which makes it a place you actually want to spend time in. The room is equipped with a full size 8ft pool table and 7ft air hockey table, in addition to a living area with a 52” LCD TV, HD Cable, blu-ray player, playstation 3 console as well as a selection of family board games. The living area also has a wet bar with ice maker and beverage center. Double doors lead out onto the amazing pool deck.

Sun deck: If the interior hasn't given you the wow factor you require to spend your vacation at Star Lake Manor then the pool and sun deck will truly amaze you! The screened sun deck is a massive 88ft x 42ft and has the best uninterrupted view of Star Lake where you will see plenty of birds fly over and paddle. As you would expect of a villa of this stature it has an ample supply of luxurious chaise lounges and reclining chairs. Even the most hardy sun worshipper will need to shade from the harsh Florida sun at some point during the day, for which there is an extensive shaded lanai which has large cooling fans and dining tables and chairs.

Summer Kitchen: Within the screened area we have provided a covered summer kitchen with granite countertop containing an enormous gas BBQ sink, refrigerator and ice maker. A bathroom and shower are located off the lanai.

Pool, spa / Jacuzzi & children pool: To complement such a huge sun deck, the main free form pool is an enormous 46ft x 22ft and is interconnected by rock spillways with the spa and children's pool. The children's splash pool is 18 inches deep and the 10 jet spa can comfortably seat 8 adults. The focal point of the pool is the rock waterfall which at 4ft tall is amazing to watch. The main pool also has within it a table so you can sit around it in the pool with a drink. There are no fewer than eight fountains, four in the children's pool and four in the main pool. At night all three pools can be lit with multiple colors. Want to turn on the waterfall (or any other pool feature) from within the pool or deck area, don't worry we've thought of everything, as you don't need to move, just turn it on from the waterproof remote control.

Upstairs Balcony: The screened shaded upstairs rear balcony is accessed from the grand master suite and from other parts of the house via the landing. The balcony is cooled by large fans and is an ideal spot due to its elevated position to have an outstanding aerial view of the lake and pool. Imagine having your early morning coffee, sitting back in our designer deep seating looking out over the lake covered in mist with the birds singing. At night the balcony also has views in the distance of the magical Disney ™ fireworks at Magic Kingdom ™ and Epcot. ™

Sitting up on the promontory above Cabier in St. Andrew in north eastern Grenada, Two Bays Villa, designed along Colonial lines, has a 100 foot long deep shaded veranda with swing seats that wraps itself around the sitting room and the bedroom and gives stunning views over the garden to Cabier beach 100 yards away and over the two bays.

In the rear garden is an infinity swimming pool with a sun terrace shared with the two studios overlooking Crochu Bay and the ocean.

It is a place to completely relax, to have that special holiday, enjoy your beautiful natural surroundings and watch the pelicans diving to catch fish, frigate birds circling around the entrance to the bays, with humming birds and doves coming in to feed in the garden. Two Bays is surrounded by its gardens and it will always be possible to find your own space. There is enough garden furniture available for everyone at Two Bays.

Cabier beach, 100 yards down from Two Bays is magnificent, with clear warm water and rarely any waves and current that would prevent you swimming; the beach and both bays are protected by a long offshore reef so there is safe swimming at all tide states. There are loungers for your use on the Cabier private area just behind the beach.

There is an outside shower on our steps and one on the steps to the Lodge from the beach to wash off sand and salt after a swim. The car parking area has drying lines for towels and swimsuits.

Cabier beach has a tide fall of around 50 feet so there is plenty of firm sand. The sand is so firm that you can even play beach cricket on it for at least two hours without moving the wicket. On a Sunday there is sometimes a game to join in with the locals all of whom are very friendly. More serious cricket takes place up the road at Crochu cricket club during the season and visitors are welcome.

There is snorkelling round the inner reef into Crochu Bay; and for more experienced snorkelers and good swimmers the other side of the outer reef at low tide gives the chance to encounter schools of larger fish and soft corals. Cabier Ocean Lodge has some snorkelling gear although you will probably wish to bring your own. The Lodge also has arrangements with local boatmen to arrange trips round to local beaches only accessed by sea (they will come back to pick you up!).

Guests at Two Bays have the use of all the Lodge facilities including their gardens on the promontory point, with hammocks overlooking the ocean and reef. Their bar and restaurant is open to you and life is so casual there, that if you want a drink, you just take it from the fridge and write down what you have taken. You are after all part of the Cabier family.

If you can bring binoculars with you the pelican family are fascinating to watch in the morning and evening when they are fishing, and a pair of ospreys have been spotted, not to mention regular visits from frigate birds and humming birds. There are guide books for local flora and fauna, nature and marine life reference cards, as well as the night sky to increase your enjoyment of our natural environment as well as recommendations for local guides.

There are coastal walks in both directions and the two hotel dogs, Bella and Rocky, can sometimes be persuaded to go walkies or come for a swim. There is also Judy to fuss over, a baby island monkey rescued by Bruno and Iris and who lives in her cage behind the restaurant terrace.

There are internet connections behind the Lodge bar and restaurant area. In the Lodge sitting room is a large screen TV and DVD for the use of guests.

Some guests get so relaxed just being around Cabier that they only make a couple of trips into the outside world.

Air conditioning is rarely needed due to the breezes that Two Bays and Cabier enjoy, if you need it then it is available at a small extra cost.

Both Bruno (French & chef) and his wife Iris (German) speak English/French/German and their Cabier "family" of local staff led by Cindy will look after you during your stay. They will provide local information and can arrange trips and car hire etc.

They will service Two Bays daily, except Sunday, and change linen regularly. Beach towels are provided as are bath towels. You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, liquid soap is provided. Laundry can be arranged with your maid.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Two Bays is suitable for elderly persons although will be difficult for those with serious walking difficulties. Please check with us first if you are not sure.

Cabier and Two Bays are in a natural environment about 10 minutes down from the coastal road by vehicle. Part of the access road down to Cabier from the main road is unmade and can be a little rough at certain times of year. A 4x4 vehicle is preferable.

Smokers are welcome but please only on the verandas.

Thank you so very much for your outstanding property! We just completed our visit to Two Bays Villas last Saturday and I'm still in remission. To be honest, you're lucky that I didn't take my four T-shirts, two bathing suits and assorted other garments to claim squatter's rights on the property. My husband and I certainly don't rate as world travellers, however, we did experience several sides of Grenada during our stay. We sailed (it was great), we settled in at Lance Aux Epines and it was equally marvelous. However, staying at the Two Bays Villa was the most meaningful part of our trip. Bruno and Iris brought everything that is Grenada alive for us. We will be back. Thank you so very much once again.

We are both fairly well travelled and whist we have enjoyed most places we have never had the inclination to return. Cabier is the first place to which we would both like to return. We have had the most marvellous relaxing holiday at in your delightful villa at Two Bays and to thank you for all the help you have given us. Our 2 weeks on Grenada has been truly unforgettable. It is such a beautiful and relatively unspoilt island. Iris and Bruno are so warm and friendly and deserve every success at Cabier.

We find ourselves thinking of our stay on Grenada every day and sneaking a look at all the pictures instead of getting our work done! WE had the most wonderful time. The villa is so beautiful, and being connected to Cabier is a definite plus as far as we are concerned. Bruno and Iris do an out-standing job along with Cindy and the other staff. The house was immaculate when we arrived.

We were astounded to see all of Bruno's pictures of the remodeling that had taken place on the Cabier Lodge in such a short time. Bruno took us on a wonderful tour that we loved.

We loved eating with two other unrelated guests. By the end of our stay we were all friends and ate together and went on a day trip together. We are still keeping in touch, One from Germany and one from Switzerland. They both came up to Two Bays for an evening where we visited. They were very impressed with Two Bays. Designed along Colonial lines, a 19 foot long deep shaded veranda with a swing seat that gives beautiful views over Crochu bay to the next headland and the ocean. Cabier beach is 100 yards away.

In the rear garden is an infinity swimming pool and sun terrace shared with the Villa and other studio which overlooks Crochu Bay and the ocean.

Bayside is equipped with a Queen-Size four poster bed with mosquito net, a large wardrobe with hanging rails and shelves, including a safe large enough for a laptop, a full en-suite bathroom with shower and wall-mounted hair-dryer. You have a large round table with chairs for 2 people and a large seat with cushions on the veranda together with a swing seat to relax in and watch the pelicans diving for fish.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar with all appliances including an oven with grill, microwave, coffee-maker and toaster and large fridge-freezer right down to the garlic crusher if you want to do some self-catering, having visited one of the local markets and seduced by the local produce.

All furnishings and doors are finished in elegant hardwood with a 9 foot wide opening onto the deep shaded veranda with folding wooden doors and adjustable wooden louvers giving you outdoor living even when inside the villa - so you can lie on the Queen Size bed and look over Crochu Bay and beyond in complete privacy! Each part of Two Bays accommodation has been designed so that it is private and not overlooked.

Bayside has two large ceiling fans to assist the breezes that keep it cool. Two Bays on the promontory 70 feet above the two bays enjoys Cabier’s almost constant breeze off the ocean, with which you can keep rooms cool at night by using the ceiling fans with the adjustable louver in the doors and windows. On the few occasions that nature fails to do its job there is air conditioning available at a small extra cost.

Two Bays is run and serviced by Cabier Ocean Lodge, a small 11 room hotel with a restaurant and bar on a terrace overlooking the ocean. They provide a full maid service 6 days a week (except Sunday). As a guest at Two Bays you are also a guest at Cabier and have use of their facilities. There is WiFi and a computer with free internet connection for the use of guests at the Lodge.

Sitting up on the promontory above Cabier, Two Bays Beachside Studio, in the north eastern region of Grenada, Saint Andrew is designed along Colonial lines, has a 19 foot long deep shaded veranda with two swing seats that gives great views towards Cabier beach and bay, the headland and the ocean in one direction and inland to the distant rainforest in the other. Cabier beach is 100 yards away.

In the rear garden is an infinity swimming pool and sun terrace shared with the Villa and other studio which overlooks Crochu Bay and the ocean.

Beachside is equipped with either a King-Size or two single four poster beds with mosquito nets, a large wardrobe with hanging rails and shelves, including a safe large enough for a laptop, a full en-suite bathroom with shower and wall-mounted hair-dryer. You have a large round table with chairs for 2 people and a large seat with cushions on the veranda together with two swing seats to relax in.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar with all appliances including an oven with grill, microwave, coffee-maker and toaster and large fridge-freezer right down to the garlic crusher if you want to do some self-catering, having visited one of the local markets and seduced by the local produce.

All furnishings, doors and windows are finished in elegant hardwood with a 9 foot wide opening onto the deep shaded veranda with folding wooden doors and adjustable wooden louvers giving you outdoor living even when inside the villa - so you can lie on your bed and look out in complete privacy! Each part of Two Bays accommodation has been designed so that it is private and not overlooked.

Beachside has two large ceiling fans to assist the breezes that keep it cool. Two Bays on the promontory 70 feet above the two bays enjoys Cabier’s almost constant breeze off the ocean, with which you can keep rooms cool at night by using the ceiling fans with the adjustable louver in the doors and windows. On the few occasions that nature fails to do its job there is air conditioning available at a small extra cost.

Two Bays is run and serviced by Cabier Ocean Lodge, a small 11 room hotel with a restaurant and bar on a terrace overlooking the ocean. They provide a full maid service 6 days a week (except Sunday). As a guest at Two Bays you are also a guest at Cabier and have use of their facilities. There is WiFi and a computer with free internet connection for the use of guests at the Lodge.

In 2008 we came to Cabier by pure chance, fell in love with it and decided that if we were going to build a holiday home in Grenada, it would be exactly where Two Bays stands today. Two Bays is surrounded by its gardens and it will always be possible to find your own space even if there are 6 guests staying. There is enough garden furniture available for everyone at Two Bays.

Cabier beach, 100 yards down from Two Bays is magnificent, with clear warm water and rarely any waves and current that would prevent you swimming; the beach and both bays are protected by a long offshore reef so there is safe swimming at all tide states. There are loungers for your use on the Cabier private area just behind the beach. There is an outside shower on our steps and one on the steps to the Lodge from the beach to wash off sand and salt after a swim. The car parking area has drying lines for towels and swimsuits.

Cabier beach has a tide fall of around 50 feet so there is plenty of firm sand. The sand is so firm that you can even play beach cricket on it for at least two hours without moving the wicket. On a Sunday there is sometimes a game to join in with the locals all of whom are very friendly. More serious cricket takes place up the road at Crochu cricket club during the season and visitors are welcome.

There is snorkelling round the inner reef into Crochu Bay; and for more experienced snorkelers and good swimmers the other side of the outer reef at low tide gives the chance to encounter schools of larger fish and soft corals. Cabier Ocean Lodge has some snorkelling gear although you will probably wish to bring your own. The Lodge also has arrangements with local boatmen to arrange trips round to local beaches only accessed by sea (they will come back to pick you up!).

Guests at Two Bays have the use of all the Lodge facilities including their gardens on the promontory point, with hammocks overlooking the ocean and reef. Their bar and restaurant is open to you and life is so casual there, that if you want a drink, you just take it from the fridge and write down what you have taken. You are after all part of the Cabier family.

If you can bring binoculars with you the pelican family are fascinating to watch in the morning and evening when they are fishing, and a pair of ospreys have been spotted, not to mention regular visits from frigate birds and humming birds. There are guide books for local flora and fauna, nature and marine life reference cards, as well as the night sky to increase your enjoyment of our natural environment as well as recommendations for local guides.

There are coastal walks in both directions and the two hotel dogs, Bella and Rocky, can sometimes be persuaded to go walkies or come for a swim. There is also Judy to fuss over, a baby island monkey rescued by Bruno and Iris, and who lives in her cage behind the restaurant terrace.

There are internet connections behind the Lodge bar and restaurant area. In the Lodge sitting room is a large screen TV and DVD for the use of guests.

Some guests get so relaxed just being around Cabier that they only make a couple of trips into the outside world.

If you have a larger party than two, then Beachside Studio can be accessed internally to the Villa through a pair of normally locked double hardwood doors. Beachside has its own front door which opens onto the rear garden and terrace.

Bayside and Beachside studios can also be taken for a party of 4 and we will give special rates depending on the number of guests in the party, length of stay, and season.

The garden and the infinity pool are shared by the Villa and the two studios.

Both Two Bays Villa and Studios have room safes large enough to take a laptop and bathrooms have hairdryers. Electrical plugs and supply have both UK and USA fittings.

Air conditioning is rarely needed due to the breezes that Two Bays and Cabier enjoy, if you need it then it is available at a small extra cost.

The Villa is ideally located in Italy, near San Casciano dei Bagni half way between Florence and Rome.

The Villa is designed to host aesthetes, those who love the peace of the countryside but who also enjoy modern comforts.

"This is a lovely, fully equipped house set in a peaceful residential area with a sea view, located near the sea and mountains, away from the large touristic centre, in a natural environment, with a front and back garden. We do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun and relaxing. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment. The grounds are totally fenced & accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature, play with Alfie and Max our children loving dog, we have two dogs and one old cat in total.

The accommodations are all separated from the pool area, the pool area is enclosed & gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of mind. All the baby/toddler friendly accommodations also have fencing around their terraces for the added security.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage is a 1 bedroom rustic duplex cottage tastefully decorated & boasting many original features from the old quinta. This cottage has oodles of character and is a child-free zone. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers & sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams & white washed walls. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area, WC & washbasin with a vanity unit under. We do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun and relaxing. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment. The grounds are totally fenced & accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature, play with Alfie and Max our children loving dog, we have two dogs and one old cat in total.

The accommodations are all separated from the pool area, the pool area is enclosed & gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of mind. All the baby/toddler friendly accommodations also have fencing around their terraces for the added security.

We have a children’s play area available designed for little ones situated on a large lawned area alongside an orange grove. There is a slide, swings, seesaw, playhouse, toddler slide, toddler trampoline etc, this area adds an exciting dimension for all the visiting children & keeps them occupied for hours. When you arrive back in the late afternoon, you will be greeted by afternoon tea including a varied selection of Bulgarian and home - made cakes and biscuits. Gallows Hill can be seen from the property which is reputed to be the site where the infamous Queen of Scottish witches, Isobel Gowdie, was tried and executed in 1662 for witchcraft. Isobel's story has been recorded in several books and songs.

A 90 minute drive from Geneva, the chalet is 310 m2 in size and has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a second sitting room for noisy children! It is located at 1800m and has stuning views for 220 degrees around the chalet across to the mountains and down into the Rhone Valley. The sense of space is enhanced by the use of double height ceilings in the living areas. The chalet has been built using reclaimed old wood and local stone including stone helicoptered down the mountain to build a huge stone fireplace forroaring log fires.

From the moment you enter the Bravo Hills community you will feel at home. This well-established and friendly community offers an idyllic haven of rest and relaxation.

Situated on the Quesada urbanization Bravo Hills is well placed for a wide variety of exciting activities. From golfing on the two top quality golf courses both within easy striking distance to water parks, horse riding, water sports and much much more.

Only fifteen minutes down the coast you will find the award-winning Guardamar beach. With its endless white sands and beachside amenities there is something for all the family.

Close by is the traditional Spanish town of Torrevieja. The town has a great deal to offer including a large port, extensive shopping and street markets as well as a large selection of bars and restaurants offering good value as well as excellent cuisine.

Roughly 20 years old, it is one of the more mature areas in Quesada and as such it is rather less crowded and offers larger rooms than some of the more recent developments.

On the ground floor there is a large airconditioned living/dining area. Patio doors lead to a covered porch and private gardens beyond and a second porch is located to the front – both are ideal for sitting out in the evening, or during the day, affording relaxing shade from the midday sun. The kitchen, which was completely remodelled in 2008, is separated from the living area by means of an arch and breakfast bar. A small utility room houses a washing machine and a small bathroom completes the ground floor.

The first floor landing leads to the large airconditioned master bedroom with a double bed and built-in wardrobes. To the rear is the second twin bedroom, also airconditioned and having its own small balcony overlooking the large water feature than runs through the middle of the planting below. Between the two bedrooms is the main bathroom.

Another large patio door leads from the master bedroom to an extensive glazed balcony and from there another flight of stairs leads up to a magnificent rooftop sun patio, offering the perfect combination of privacy and stunning views. Here you can sunbathe at any time of day, relax with a glass of wine in the quiet of evening or perhaps enjoy a barbecue.

For 2010 the rooftop terrace has been re-tiled for a clean, new look. The new blue and white patterned tiles makes the roof space look cleaner, and a non-slip surface on the tiles make them safer.

Bravo Hills is a gated community offering you that extra bit of security. Within the complex you will find beautiful planting and manicured trees. At one end a large water feature means you're always in the gentle sound of running water, while at the other end you have the pools. Surrounded by grassed areas and seating there is a large adult pool. It is divided in two by a bridge that you can walk over or swim under. Just next to the adult pool is a paddling pool for the children. The pool is undoubtedly one of the best in Quesada.

Each self catering lodge has two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, bathroom /shower-room, comfortable sitting room and fully equipped kitchen.

A couple of minutes walk across the street is Antigua's newest luxury resort hotel, the Verandah Resort and Spa and rental includes a guest pass to the hotel's activities including non-motorised water sports, tennis and use of the swimming pools and beaches. Guests can also access the Resort's restaurants, bars,cinema and spa & salon facilities.

Living areas:

The villa has a large downstairs open plan spacious living area which comprises a kitchen, an air-conditioned dining area and a sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with an American Fridge freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine and breakfast bar. The dining table seats 8 and the lounge area comprise a large L shaped sofa with Cable TV , DVD and i-pod stereo docking system. There is also a separate downstairs cloakroom and a laundry room with a washer and separate tumble dryer. At the back of the villa and through the patio doors from the main living area there is also a spacious covered verandah which provides a large outdoor living area complete with barbecue and table and seating for 8 for outside dining which the Carribean climate allows all year round.

The villa has telephone with high speed wi-fi internet access available in the hotel reception. For families with young children, there is a cot, high chair and stair gate.

Bedrooms:

The spacious master bedroom includes a 4 poster bed with a sitting area comprising a sofa bed if required for small children. There is also Cable TV and a working area with a computer desk and a his and hers walk-in closet. The en suite bathroom has a bath and shower. There are patio doors from the master bedroom leading to a large balcony with seating to enjoy the lovely views over Lawries Bay.

Upstairs there is also a twin bedroom with views towards Non-Such Bay and a custom made wardrobe unit and Cable TV with Play Station 2 and DVD player.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms either side of the living area, one twin and one double, both which have ensuite bathrooms with bath/shower and large walk-in closets. Each of these bedrooms has its own patio doors leading out onto the verandah at the back of the villa and to its pool beyond.

All bedrooms are air conditioned. We request our guests do not smoke inside the villa.

Pool and Gardens

There is a 800 square foot pool with water feature and seating area allowing plenty of room for swimming and relaxing. The grass garden area is large enough to enjoy activities such as volleyball, football and cricket. There is a fixed basketball net and play area.The other areas are stocked with tropical plants including banana trees, coconut palms, bougainvillea, hibiscus and oleander.

There is also a small backup generator and pump room.

Brightside is part of the Verandah Estates, a brand new, luxury, gated residential villa development in Antigua.

It has convenient, gated access directly off the main road leading to Long Bay Beach, with a 24-hour manned security gate and fully fenced perimeter to ensure safety and security for guests.

The Estates enjoy direct water access to the beautiful, reef-protected Lawrie's Bay (view from back of villa shown) and the community features a park area for gatherings and picnics.

DESIGN/CONCEPT

The villa was designed by a leading Antiguan architect and built to the highest standards by the highly regarded local firm Horizon Construction. The overall concept is based on a mix of colonial style with local Caribbean influences to create a bright and airy feel to the villa which benefits from the cooling trade wind breezes.

The eco-friendly design includes solar powered panels for electricity, utilising the benefits of Antigua's high levels of sunshine. Rainwater is also recycled using the cistern beneath the house.

The house to rent is located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, a country village set in the Chianti area in the south of Florence.

The house is a perfect starting point to visit Florence, Tuscany and other regions of Italy. Florence centre (16 Km / 9 miles away) can be reached by car in 20 minutes or by bus in about 35 minutes.

Florence [FLR] airport is distant 30 Km by car. It can be reached also with coach and bus. Every year we have guest arriving without a car.

Pisa [PSA] airport is 71Km away. By car the trip takes about 1 hour.

To arrive without a car you have to take the train to Florence (departure are just outside airport departure terminal); once in Florence, get out of the train, get out of railway station, walk for 50 metres and take a bus to San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Get out at San Casciano bus station and walk for 700 metres to reach our property.

Bologna [BLQ] airport at 120 Km (1 hour by car). Train to Florence takes 40 minutes.

Florence airport [FLR] is 30 Km away, can be reached without a car.

Other airports: Rimini [RMI], Forlì [FRL] (trains: to Bologna then Florence, or the cheaper to Faenza then Florence).

The holiday house sits on the top of an hill facing Tuscan countryside.

The rental is managed directly by the us owners, we live in a villa in the same property and will be at your disposal for travel information or where to shop.

We speak Italian, English and French.

Beautiful thatched riverside cottage, named the 'Old Wharf Cottage' as once barges unloaded cargo of copper at the wharf, now the site of the outdoor heated swimming pool. A lovely circular layout adds to the 'flow' of the house where living rooms inter connect with the Arts and Craft style kitchen which has a gas fired Aga, electric cooker and adjoining dining area. Three new state of the art bathrooms have been installed with walk-in showers and large bath. Two are en-suite. It was originally built in 1903 in the Edwardian Era. The Arts and Crafts Movement between 1880 and 1910 influenced the owners many of them artists and sculptors themselves, and later arts and craft features were added including ornate plaster work around the bedroom cornice's,a coat of arms as you climb the oak staircase with carving depicted by aged red and green paints, much used by the Arts and Craft Movement-inspired by medieval colour and image seen in the works of the artist/designer William Morris.

The house has just been refurbished, which we have tried to do in a manner that provides modern convenience but also in a way that retains the traditional Spanish heart of the house. There’s certainly plenty of space! Lounges upstairs and downstairs, three huge bedrooms (one a family suite of two rooms), bathroom and separate shower room - a house of this size definitely needs a second bathroom but having a second kitchen next to the roof terrace is a real bonus, it just makes life so much easier!

The terrace overlooks the church, the square and the rooftops of the town but also has lovely views of the countryside for miles around and of El Hacho, the mountain that overlooks the town. In this part of Spain for most of the year you will want to eat outdoors and we have made a dining area on the terrace that comfortably sits 8 people.

And, of course, the square is just outside of the front door so you can just go out and soak in Andalucian life. Personally, I enjoy reading a book in the shaded viewpoint opposite the house or sitting with a beer in Oscars, at the far end of the square.

The Guest House

has a very large living room with a fireplace and two very comfortable down couches. At night it becomes the bedroom by pulling the queen size (plush Mattress) Murphy bed. It has a full kitchen with all that is needed for cooking. The breakfast room is octagon shaped with French windows on all sides. Very bright and cheerful room which looks out to the pool and outside fireplace.

Romantic Poolside Dinners & Events/filming: The Enchanted Manor is magical, especially at night. The lighting on the grounds, trees, deck and pool turns the night into a very romantic atmosphere. Celebrity Chef, Kurt (personal chef to Ronald Reagan)is available to cook for private dinners. Massage therapist also available.

'The Fire Pit, Outside Fireplace and Gazebo Bar'

The outside fireplace is on a private patio off the breakfast room. It's like having anther living room outside With plush out door couches and coffee table. This area also has a BBQ. There is another BBQ on the 3rd level of the deck next to the fire pit. Sitting around the fire pit at night with the kids roasting marsh mellows is a wonderful family experience. Having business meetings around the gazebo bar.

The Play House and Tree House: The play house is a mini version of the main house. It has 2 twin size beds, Cable TV, fireplace and a phone line. It is equipped with child size furniture and toys. The children also have their own patio and patio furniture. It's like a Disneyland here for kids. The tree house is another adventure for them to explore.

Our cottage is very comfortable for up to 4 adults and 2 children. It is located in the peaceful setting in the small south Vendee hamlet. A rustic cottage fully restored to its original appearance, with exposed local stone walls, wooden beams and wooden floors, tiled ground floor. It is furnished with antique French country style furniture. It is comfortable and done with good taste.

The ground floor has a large living/room with a fireplace, a kitchen/dining room, bathroom and separate washroom, utility room, and one double bedroom with en suite shower room (bed 1.60 m wide). The upstairs has one double bedroom (bed 1.40 m wide) and one mezzanine bedroom (2 beds, each 1.20 m wide)

The facilities include 1 satellite TV with English, german, dutch, Spanish, Italian channels, 1 frenchTV, VCR, 2 DVD players, telephone, games, dvd and video cassettes, free wifi internet access by wifi. Wild Ginger House is situated in mountain pastures above the village of Cascalho in Cedros, Faial in the Azores and has a view of the ocean. This charming dwelling is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. It is a stone farm dwelling, renovated in 2009, and consists of a double bedroom, a bathroom and open plan sitting room/dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with four burner hob, microwave, refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. There is a terrace with barbecue and a garden.

The apartment is located at Porto Pim beach in Horta, Faial, Portugal. There is a range of children's pool toys, please take care of your own and your children's safety when using the pool. The door access to the pool is fitted with an alarm for the safety of your children. In addition to the games in the house you will find a foosball table and air hockey table in the garage. For the welfare of all guests we politely request no smoking anywhere on the property, we would strongly recommend that smokers do not book this property, as there are plenty of home owners who welcome smokers. The 2 storey villa is light and spacious and can cater for up to 7 people comfortably. On the ground floor the lounge looks out onto the pool and has Sky Satellite TV*, TV, DVD player with a minimum of 20 recent films and WIFI internet access. The indoor dining table seats 6 comfortably. The modern kitchen is fully equipped including electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker,sandwich maker etc. There is a further utility area with washing machine and drying area. There is a full bathroom, twin bedroom with ample fitted wardrobes and a further room with a sofa bed, CD/radio/cassette/ipod dock, books and games.

The interior is designed with modern, stylish, comfortable furniture, restful colour schemes and quality lighting which is both functional and relaxing. All important ingredients to allow you to totally switch off.

On the first floor there is a second larger bathroom and two further bedrooms, one double, one twin, with ample wardrobe space. Both bedrooms have patio doors leading to the large upstairs terrace providing uninterrupted sea views. This terrace is large enough for al fresco dining and sunbathing.

The private ground floor terrace provides a heated swimming pool which is electrically heated for year round usage. The pool is cleaned with a salt water chlorinator, which generates chlorine naturally. This is much kinder on the skin and eyes than chemical chlorine. There is an outdoor shower for cooling down whilst sunbathing, or to clean up after the beach. There are comfortable sun loungers with all-weather cushions, outdoor dining area under a shaded pergola and a coal barbecue for poolside cooking.

The upstairs terrace also has a patio table and chairs, with a clear view down to the pool. This terrace is accessible via a separate door off the landing, in addition to the patio doors which lead off the bedrooms. Perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while watching the sun go down.

The villa is ideal for extended families, but also ideal for 2 couples who can enjoy their privacy whilst sharing the common facilities.

Set in the Vilasol golf estate with mature, very spacious gardens containing a variety of flowers, shrubs, trees and traditional decorative water wheel the outside area of Villa Sousa offers numerous sunny and shady spots to while away an hour or two. The large pool measuring 9x4m has roman steps or a fun slide and is surrounded by a tiled terrace and lawns and is completely enclosed with a lockable gate. A refundable breakages / additional cleaning deposit of £150 / 150€ is required prior to keys being dispatched and will be refunded on receipt of the keys.

This apartment runs a strictly no smoking policy, and evidence of smoking will incur a charge against the deposit.

A 25% booking deposit is required for Cash payments, through either internet banking, cheque or PayPal. The remainder to be paid 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental agreement.

For credit card payments (Pounds Sterling only), payment is required in full at time of booking, with no additional charges levied for the use of this type of payment whilst the rental proceeds. If however there is a cancellation at 56+ days, there will be a charge for the card processing fees associated with the initial transaction.

Our rental contract states that keys to the apartment will be sent prior to the commencement of the rental.

If this is not possible, eg you are not able to receive them or you are travelling and you require our apartment manager to meet you on arrival, there will be a minimum charge of £30 to be agreed at the time of request.

In the case where a short notice rental takes place, this fee will be agreed at the time of rental.

Casa Mignon is equipped and furnished to a comfortable standard and whether you spend your time inside or outside, you will have all you need. The villa has a telephone for incoming and outgoing local calls. The villa is managed locally and our team, including Michael, the manager, Adriana the maid, Jose the poolman and our gardeners all have one aim - to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable stay. Our maid will visit the villa four to five times a week depending on your needs. She is happy to look after your personal laundry and ironing if required. The pool and gardens are maintained regularly.

The well equipped, fully-fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, coffee percolator and an extensive array of all the cooking utensils you could possibly require. Sufficient crockery and cutlery is available to enable you to prepare dinner parties for eight adults. There is also a separate cloakroom and WC on this floor. Our Shanklin Holiday Apartment is on the first floor of the wing to a fine house built in 1864 as a Gentleman's Residence, in Luccombe Road. The whole building has recently been completely renovated, with the external appearance in sympathy with the period. Internally it has been refitted throughout to a very high standard.

Our Apartment has been equipped to provide extremely comfortable accommodation for four non-smoking people. It comprises a living room opening onto a balcony that looks across the gardens to the sea to Culver Cliffs and to the mainland beyond; there is a kitchen area with granite worktops, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, refrigerator; the seaview bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room; the downsview bedroom has twin beds; the main bathroom has both bath and shower. We provide a digital TV with DVD player and a range of games and books. The block of apartments is the last one in Luccombe Road, and further up the road is Hadden's Pits, which is land owned by the National Trust. The quiet road is on the famous Coast Path, but by car it leads only to the hamlet of Luccombe.
