With the Pigeon Messages, it’s never been easier to talk with your friends – and you can get rewarded for it.

Pigeon Messages are a way to keep in touch with your old friends, and to make sure that when they do return to JD, they get a nice reward – and they have you to thank for it.

There’s an entry on the Functions tab, below Broadcast, for Pigeon Messages. Bring up the Pigeon Message window and select a friend.

Yes, you must have friends to use this feature.

You can only message friends who are offline; if you see any grayed-out names, they’re online. Select a friend from the list on the right. Only friends who are Level 60+ will show up on this list.

Every Pigeon Message is pre-written, so just choose from one of the 12 templates on the drop-down menu. Send your message, and you’ll instantly get your rewards.

When you send a Pigeon Message to a friend, you’ll get 10 Taichi Pills, 10 Affinity Beads and 10 Chroma Beads per message.

When your friend logs in, they’ll have your message at the Courier. If they haven’t logged in for at least 30 days, they’ll also receive 10 Taichi Pills, 20 Affinity Beads and 10 Chroma Beads.

You can’t message a friend more than once per 10 days, nor can you send more than 5 messages per day. If you want to make the most of this system, you’ll need at least 50 friends.
 

Earn in game rewards by helping stress test Blacklight: Retribution!  By completing 5 game matches on Friday, February 10th from 11:00 AM Pacific through 7:00 PM Pacific, you’ll earn great in game rewards!

Note: To give more people a chance to earn these rewards, we're extending the stress test by five hours, to 7pm PST!

To participate, simply do the following:

1 – Download the  CORE Client, and then install Blacklight: Retribution

2 – Using the EAST server, complete 5 matches on Friday, February 10th from 11 AM Pacific through 2:00 PM Pacific

3 – Collect your rewards when they are mailed to you in game!

By completing 5 matches, you will be earning 10x Hyper EXP Stones!  Additionally, some free ZEN is up for grabs!  By completing 10 matches in the time period above, your name will be entered into a drawing for 1,000 ZEN.  There will be 3 winners total.

  Hyper Exp Stone

These items are the basis for the Hyper EXP system. By pressing the Public Relations button located at the bottom right of the screen, you’ll reveal the Hyper EXP button. Once clicked, you can select five different periods of bonus EXP gain with corresponding costs in Hyper EXP Stones. For this limited period, you can gain as much as 12 times the normal amount of Exp from killing monsters, but beware the ensuing Exhaustion period where your Exp gains will be greatly reduced. Great Exp comes to those who manage their time carefully.

For this year's most romantic holiday, we will be running a very special GM event. Having gone through tens of thousands of tickets, our GMs are starved for attention and human contact. And elven contact. And barbarian contact. And, well, you get the gist.

So to remedy this situation, four of our very loneliest GMs (two guys and two gals) will be roaming each of our seven servers, seeking hugs and friendly chit chat. 

They will be on the servers at these times on Valentine's Day — February 14th. (All times are in server time):

Strain your mind, body and soul and make your way to the Altar of Margoras. This unique dungeon is specifically designed to test large parties against these obstacles. Only the best will rise to the top when presented with this extreme adversity. Let’s gather our Expedition and embark on one of the toughest dungeons Rusty Hearts: Requiem has to offer. 

You will be pushed to your limits

Most players will likely make the mistake of attempting this dungeon solo, but we would not advise it. The Raid dungeons are an almost never-ending onslaught of enemies of all kinds with one goal, death. The Altar is saturated with dark energy from the Gatekeeper of chaos and destruction. Its sealed dungeon doors have been dislodged, but its secrets have yet to be revealed as no one brave enough as examined it.

Raids are performed on an epic scale, there's no dungeon like it

You and your expedition will be the first team to investigate the dark energy permeating throughout the Alter of Margoras. Your task, should you choose to accept it, will involve defeating each of the monsters rocketed at you from the wretched skies above. Their raining caskets will block out the purple skies and force you to reassess your abilities to defeat them. Will you be able to destroy the Gatekeeper and his summoned minions?

Teamwork is pivotal in The Altar

The Altar is the first Raid dungeon available for Rusty Hearts, but there are will be more to come. Players will notice a second raid dungeon, “Dead Man’s Valley”, which will make its appearance in the near future. Stay tuned for future updates that may include this Raid dungeon. 

The Altar’s evil might and power should prove challenging enough for players. Destroy the Altar and its inhabitants when it’s released on February 14th in the Requiem update.

The Phoenix and Dragon fashion sets have only been available in the Bonus Shop until now. In addition to their stylish looks, equip two pieces of these fashion sets to get +2 Skill Evasion, or the entire set to unlock powerful PvP skills. These skills drain either Spirit (female) or Health (male) over time.

In addition to these premium fashions, we’ve discounted the Jessie pet in honor of Valentine’s Day. The entire Jessie pet pack, including a Miradrake Orb and ten Eera Herbs, will be available at 50% off.

The female Phoenix fashion unlocks the Sword of Love skill, which drains enemies’ SP.

The target will immediately drop to zero SP, and for the next 60 seconds, they’ll have a Spirit Drain debuff. The total drain is three times the target’s combined Max HP and Max SP – as a ballpark number, figure that the target loses a sixth of their Max SP every two seconds, on top of the initial drop to zero SP.

The Sword of Love can also inflict a one-minute debuff that prevents the target from using normal, non-skill attacks.

Combined with the Celan skill Soundblade Emperor, Sword of Love can be a knockout punch in PvP.

The male Dragon fashion unlocks the Blade of Love, which inflicts an HP Bleed and several other debuffs.

After the initial damage, the target will take Bleed damage for two minutes, dealing 5% of their Max Health every two seconds. All told, this Bleed will deal over 4x their Max Health.

The Blade of Love will also reduce the target’s speed and Resistances by 15%.

These premium fashions will only be available in the Marketplace for a short time, so if you want a boost to your PvP kit, make sure to act fast.
 

In Jade Dynasty, Valentine’s Day is a time for getting closer to your loved ones – both in location and level.

Nothing should get in the way of love, so we’re discounting a number of items to help you spend time with your loved ones, including teleportation items and a new mystery box.

Get a free Love Capsule mystery box when you get a five-pack of Treasure Bowls! This new mystery box includes a Kirin Sigil, wedding packs and the Hades Tiger mount.

With the Hades Tiger, you’re never far from your spouse: It comes with a +6.20 movement speed base, so every trip away will be shorter. The Hades Tiger also has randomly-generated bonus stats.

This is also a perfect time to use the Love Capsule’s wedding packs to get married, since every character who gets married during Valentine season will get a free Tiger Mask.

You’ll also be able to get Love Wishes for cheap: just 0.10 Jaden. These let you teleport directly to your spouse, wherever they are. Not even the entire world can come between you two.

If what keeps you apart is a level gap, though, Jade Dynasty still has you covered. Get Meditation Orbs at a 50% discount, both individually and in ten-packs. With these, you can get double EXP from monster kills: After a little bit of grinding, you can both adventure at the same level.
