"Plan events that EVERYONE can join in - and NOT just those with G-Points"

AUCH, Granado Espada - Local battlesmith, Idge Imbruglia inside Grandice Arcade in Auch, issued in her press conference a challenge to the people of the new world. The event was modeled in anticipation of the coming New Year. Idge Imbruglia has apparently found secret recipes which turn certain +8 weapons and armors into much coveted lvl 100 versions of the same. Idge has recently released to the public the recipe to transmute the items but the method of transmuting the items remain heavily guarded by the Imbruglia family.

Critics and fans all over the New World have been arguing at the items needed for the transmutation. In virtually all the recipes certain items such as the Hrin's Potion are monopolized by local merchant, Leticia. Leticia only accepts money from the new currency circulating in the New World - The G-Points. The distribution and use of this new currency has been debated exhaustively. Local writer family of Ninemoons immediately protested, saying "Plan events that EVERYONE can join in - and NOT just those with G-Points"

The event is expected to cause dissent and division among the different income groups in the whole country. Despite this merry makers will still troop to the event in hopes of winning the auction.

Editorial

This new currency has been lurking and crawling around the economy for some time. I'm no economist but it's easy to argue that this new currency has impacted the market, negatively and positively.

Indeed premium items which can only be brought through G-Points gives a normal citizen much more advantage in living everyday life in the New World. Combat Manuals, Soul-Fillers, Hrin's Potions to name a few have been making life better for all citizens. Yet accessibility of these products remains an issue, as it continues to widen the gap between the rich and the poor.

Another issue is the My Bellem's Box which has entered the market recently. Still up to now a certain segment of the population [PH players] are not able to access the said products. Causing major income imbalances between citizens.

G-Points are a force of the good in the long run but the fast changes it brings to the new lands may surprise the people. We must be cautious in its implementation in the new world. Change is good but change which is too fast maybe disruptive.

Division because of the G's? Improbable but still possible. With the new currency introduced, bitter rivalries and old age vendettas might be renewed all for the sake of money. Will Simon Ayende's dream of a united Granado Espada come to fruition, only time can tell. No better way to judge the people view on this than the upcoming event by Idge.

Soft Opening of Periodico Expresso

CEO & Senior Editor Ricardo says-
We are bringing new views to the new world

COMBRIA, Granado Espada - In a press statement issued yesterday (Feb, 2, 2008) the CEO and Senior Editor of Periodico Expresso, Ricardo Siegwunde has sent letters and invitations to all writers in Granado Espada (Caracci) to witness the official launch of Periodico Expresso next week at the Elephant's Cafe in Combria.

Periodico Expresso has begun sending the first copies of its periodical in anticipation of its official launch next week. Mr. Ricardo has expressed his wishes for success for this project stating, " This project aims to erase the old world mentality of the people of the new world." Simon Ayende a know stalwart of the Republican cause has expressed his support for the project saying that, " This would be an invaluable addition to the growing convergence and cohesion of our beloved lands."

Despite the endorsement of Mr. Ayende, the CEO has stated explicitly that the Periodico Expresso will remain neutral despite it's stance in unity. In response, Periodico Expresso has sought communications lines between Republicans and Royalist. The queen of Vespanola herself has expressed support for the project.

Periodico Expresso will be the first and only periodical to land in the New World. It issues will run weekly and will be released on Tuesday, 9:00am.

CITE DE REBOLDEUX, Granado Espada - In an era of brightly colored satin dresses- Local fashion expert, partyphile and head of Andre's Scbool of fashion, Andre Janzur has recently revealed his plans to hold the first Runway Challenge in Granado Espada.

"Fashion shows has been a thing in the old continent, my dear. Designers from Vespanola, Brestia and Oloputa have been figthing their fantazzziess for quite some time. I want to bring that dream here in the New World. Mwaahhh" Andre has revealed to the Periodico Expresso (PerEx) that he would release an official announcement by next month.

When asked on the potential host of the show - " Well my fabolous darling I'd be choosing from, Grace Bernelli, Adelina Esperanza (Love that eye patch), Soho (Oh Yum) and Claude, well as a last resort since he has been pestering me about being the host."

More details about the Runway Challenge will come by next month. Andre assures entertainment for everybody.
