Why not make it a goal to have more fun in the sun than ever this summer? Your first step to doing so is ensuring that you’ll be confident on the beach and by the poolside as you simply really can’t have fun without confidence! As a woman, you may have missed out on some great summer time activities over the past few years such as lounging in the pool, hopping in the ocean, or even having a good old fashioned flirtatious water fight. Many of us spend our poolside days hiding under an umbrella far from the water’s edge hoping an inadvertent splash won’t ruin our makeup for the day.

With permanent makeup, you will no longer need to be a summer wallflower. Just imagine getting back the carefree confidence you had as a kid and having fun again this summer, not to mention actually feeling comfortable while taking a dip to cool off! Simple downtime free procedures like permanent eyebrows and permanent eyeliner make it possible!

Fortunately, the permanent eyebrow procedure is virtually pain free and downtime free procedure. Most clients who have the procedure go on to work and resume regular activities the very same day. That being said, those who have permanent eyebrows applied should remember to apply Vaseline to the cosmetically tattooed area to keep the area moist and healing as needed. Most clients will need to apply the Vaseline 4-6 times per day until their eyebrows have healed making sure to use a clean Q-tip or cotton swab since fingers can leave dirt and bacteria on sensitive skin.

Immediately after the procedure, clients should avoid getting any makeup or foreign substances on the freshly treated area on and around their eyebrows and should avoid strenuous exercise activity. They should also avoid letting hard shower mist hit the area directly for about one week as it could cause irritation. Those with new permanent eyebrows, especially in sunny areas like Florida should remember to steer clear of the sun, as well as swimming in chlorinated water as well as the ocean until their eyebrows have completely healed. For more information, consult with the experts at The Melany Whitney Center for Permanent Cosmetics in Boca Raton, Florida.

No matter what your reason for wanting is breast reduction surgery, make sure that you research the procedure and all possible side effects beforehand. You should consider your future ability to lactate. Research shows that breast reduction surgery may impair a woman’s milk supply, in fact, all breast surgeries may impair a woman’s ability to lactate. Therefore women who have to have breast surgery but want to breast feed later may need to take steps before the baby is born to maximize it.

There are several different methods in which breast reduction surgery can be performed including liposuction, inferior pedicle, periareolar round block, central mound, periareolar double skin, superior pedicle, and free nipple graft. Each procedure can also leave a scarring, so surgery candidates should always plan for scar camouflage and areola pigmentation ahead of time.

The report was sparked by two new studies published in the New England Journal of Medication. The studies, which included 3,000 women, showed that those who were given the drug Avastin before their breast surgeries had an increased chance of their tumor shrinking completely. These findings might suggest that, for some women, Avastin given before breast surgery might eliminate the need for a full mastectomy, thus saving their breasts. Alternatively, only a relatively less traumatic lumpectomy would need to be performed.

Due to a variety of other factors that must still be researched further, however, it is not yet clear whether it is worth giving Avastin before breast surgery or whether or not it is safe. The drug Avastin is no longer approved by the FDA for use with breast cancer patients. The approval was revoked last November when the agency was unable to show the drug to be both safe and effective.

This means many women who Avastin may have helped will still need to undergo full lateral or bilateral mastectomies in order to ensure the best chance of complete tumor removal. Fortunately, for these women, reconstructive surgery, scar camouflage and nipple replacement can still help to save the look of their breasts.

Even if your waxing salon is fairly close to home, you will still usually need to drive a few miles and from the salon each time you go. With gas prices always increasing, the cost of your trip is always increasing as well. You can add at least three to ten dollars to every salon trip just for gas alone, but luckily there is an easier way!

To remedy this, many women opt to tint or dye their brows darker throughout the year as needed in an effort to forego daily use of eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder. While eyebrow print might achieve this purpose if done perfectly, it can be very difficult to do correctly. From choosing the perfect color, to ensuring you don’t get dye on your skin and in your eyes, the whole process can be quite tricky.

Additionally, eyebrows will only “hold on” to hair follicles for a significant period of time, not skin. Therefore if your hairs are sparse, dye may not help to sufficiently make your eyebrows look thicker or darker. What’s worse? The dye can fade out easily with regular face washing and leave your eyebrows brassy and damaged.

Having and expert Boca Raton permanent makeup artist apply permanent brows, however, is a great alternative to monthly, or even weekly eyebrow tinting. Permanent makeup can give you the darker, thicker looking brows you want without any downtime or the need to reapply them regularly yourself.

Perhaps these numbers don’t shock you at all because you’ve summed it all up before. Of the few women that do know exactly what they spend on beauty products each month, many wince in brief dismay only to turn a blind eye from the financial damage feeling that there isn’t any other way. “This is just part of being a socially acceptable woman,” you may have found yourself rationalizing, but the truth is, there is another way. Having permanent makeup applied by a talented NYC permanent makeup expert can greatly reduce what you’ll need to spend on beauty yearly.

Many women spend at least $50 per month or $600 yearly on eye makeup, but for about $1500, the cost of just one quality bag and a pair of shoes, you can have correct brows and eyeliner applied for life, potentially saving you around $30,000 over the course of 50 years! How’s that for a gift that keeps on giving?
