As I write this post, I realize that summer is half over. Where did it go? Our weather has been extremely hot or extremely rainy. The pool days have been few and far between. Here's to hoping the rest of the summer will be beautiful and more conducive to outdoor activities and fun!

I have been adding so many new items to our website, Designs by Three of a Kind, that if you haven't checked it out lately, you need to now!

We just added a whole new category of monogrammed vinyl decals. This way you can decorate your car and all your possessions too! They come in 15 great colors and are available in 3" and 5" sizes with a variety of styles and fonts.

We also have some great wall monograms! These are a fun way to personalize your space. These wood monograms come ready to
paint and then just hang them anywhere or add them to a cute wreath for fall. I love mine hanging in the foyer!

PSA Essentials has done a super job with their stamp design...from the variety of designs available to the actual stamp construction. What I love about these stamps is the ability to change designs over and over for holidays, special occasions, return addresses and even stamps for kids!

It is important for kids to learn early the importance of writing a thank you note for gifts. With the ease of using email and text messaging, kids aren't always willing to sit down and hand write a note to someone. So, my solution is to get them some personalized stationery (that they can pick out themselves) and a stamp that's all their own for their name and return address.

Check out our new website soon! The clutter is gone, the design is new! There are at least five hundred new items and, over the next few months, several hundred more will be added! There are new prices, new sales, new fonts, new designs, new colors and new ideas. You can still find us on Facebook but now we are on Instagram too
Our new site is "responsive" which means you can use your tablet, smart phone or laptop, and all devices will display an easy-to-maneuver design which will make shopping simple and checkout quick.

I am already getting back to school stuff in the mail! How can that be??? The Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, yet again...so, it's pool, beach and fun in the sun time! I had to have a skin cancer removed from my nose today, so many of them that I have lost count, so I have sworn off the sun and have resorted to wearing hats at the pool and beach! I hate covering up but it's necessary and the smart thing to do!

Summertime and the Living is Easy!

I am not even going to get into where I have been since fall because it is useless to even try! All I know is that I sure did have great intentions and had planned to post all the way up to the holiday season with all the great new stuff we had but somehow that didn't happen! So, I'm going to try again for summer!

Pinterest and Fun Ideas for Entertaining

Do you do Pinterest? I can honestly say that it has been more addictive for me than any other online social media site. If you haven't checked it out, or you don't even know what it is, go to our Pinterest Board and see what I'm talking about! But, DON'T even start with Pinterest until you have a lot of time to play!!! I have gotten so many great entertaining and decorating ideas from Pinterest that my brain is in race mode all the time just trying to think about what project or recipe I want to try next!!!

In the meantime, I love these Halloween trays from Preppy Plates! I've tried some great new recipes that I can serve from trays like these. When my kids were little, we always had hot dogs, or pizza on Halloween so they could hit the neighborhood for loot before it was bedtime on a school night. Usually our neighbors would get together for supper while the kids were getting ready to go trick-or-treating and we'd take turns hosting. I wish I'd had cute trays to put the food out on. That's what I love about entertaining today...everything is casual and fun.
