I had planned to spend a weekend diving and socialising at the lake, but, work put a stop to that.The lake was once a coal mine and has a maximum depth of 32m. On the day I was there visability was about 50cm, the reason for this, I was told, was that recent rain was being pumped from a nearby coal mine.
