That is on top of inch of snow we already had...

This Winter has been impressive with the amount of snow that has actually lasted on the ground, the last bout was roughly 4 weeks before we saw the green grass.

Make sure you keep you water bowls free of ice, so your beloved pets have something to drink (especially if they are mostly an outdoor pet).

If you are tired of scooping poop in the snow, give us a call we would be happy to help.
Lynne and I (yes, I have been in the yards lending a helping hand as well) are busy cleaning up pet waste. If you have not had a chance to pickup where you dog has left off (all winter), give us a call! We would be happy to take that "load" off your yard. Look for our ad in the JB Dollar Saver.

Remember, on average a dog will poop 21 times a week. If you take the number of weeks you have not cleaned your yard multiplied by 21, that gives you how many piles of dog poop are waiting for you and your family in your yard. A quick example, 6 weeks of not picking up, equals 126 piles of dog poop to be picked up! Pet Butler Dayton is use to the mess and will gladly pickup the dog waste. We offer a variety of service frequencies, from the one time pickup to twice a week. We also offer once a week and every other week service. Rates are as low as $10 per week.

Not to get really gross, but I wanted to show you a before and after shot of what we doo.

Before
<img style="float:none; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H3qkMuDHJVk/S5mpkrqt6PI/AAAAAAAAAbo/L_Pch4lmDMg/s320/SpringCleanUp-Before.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447571671943604466" />

After
<img style="float:none; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H3qkMuDHJVk/S5mp-1StIBI/AAAAAAAAAbw/G0AZtxlYS_E/s320/SpringCleanUp-After.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447572121203843090" />

Lynne did a wonderful job cleaning up this yard! According to the Dayton Daily News the City of Riverside is considering a pooper scooper ordinance. Violating the new ordinance could lead up to a $150 fine. Riverside will be joining other cities in the Miami Valley that already have a pooper scooper ordinance. Cities that already have a scoop the poop ordinance are Beavercreek, Englewood, Fairborn, Kettering, Miamisburg and Troy. The City of West Carrollton Parks and Recreation did a wonderful job in organizing the events. Great job, Alicia! As usual, we took pictures at Doggie Dive 2008.

We always enjoy meeting people and this event proved to be successful in getting the Pet Butler name in the community along with what we actually do (which is pick up pet waste). A lot of pet owners do not realize our service exists and we have a great time educating them on our pet waste removal service. One of amazing things they learn is that pet waste removal is not a luxury service, we only charge $10 for one dog, once a week. Each additional dog is only $2.5 per service more, so two dogs for once a week service is only $12.50. That is not bad, if you are willing to give up a couple $5 coffees a week, you can afford our service. One of the great things about Pet Butler is that you can sign up online, this process is completely automated and you don't have to talk to anyone to get signed up for our Pet Waste Removal Service.

We stopped by the PawsAGoGo booth, they have a great product and service. Marianne Bailey is a great person and really believes in providing the best possible customer service and the best all natural healthy pet food. Plus, they deliver!

We hope to see you at an event.

Best regards,
James

Join us at the Doggie Dive!!

The time has come again for a FUN dog days of summer pet event. Thanks to everyone who visited our booth at the 3rd Annual Doggie Dash 'N Splash this past weekend in Greene County. We enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing information about our pet waste removal franchise.

There was fun to be had by everyone with games, contests, shows & agility demonstrations. The obvious attraction is the big pool for the dogs to swim in all day long. The dogs (including our Blue Bear) had a blast playing in the water and cooling off on a hot summer day. I enjoyed having the oppertunity to be one of the judges for the Best Kisser Contest (41 kisses in 15 seconds). Take a look at our photos of Doggie Dash N' Splash 2008!

For more information about the Dash N' Splash visit www.dashsplash.com .

Your Friendly Neighborhood Pooper Scooper,
Lynne

New K9Waste.com (pet waste removal) site is live!

After many months of part time development we have finally launched the www.k9waste.com - a pet waste removal site. The original site has served us well, but I felt it was time to modernize the site. Besides updating the look and feel of the site, we have added a blog and a better photo album. There is a link to sign up online, this online sign up is not just a form that sends info to us and we get back to you requesting your credit card and letting you know the service date. No, this online signup truly signs you up via a secured linked to the Pet Butler website. You can sign up anytime you want and when you are finished you will know the cost and the date of the first service! This system automatically updates the pet waste removal technicians route list and the franchisee is notified of a new client signup. It is a wonderful system, so when you decided to sign up. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

If you have suggestions on ways to improve the site, feel free to let us know.

One of the goals of the new site is to communicate more and create a more information rich site for our clients.

Lynne and/or I will post blogs and pictures of events and clients on a weekly basis. If you have suggested topics let us know.

Best regards,
James

Welcome to our new blog

We want to welcome everyone to our new blog. Lynne and I are new to the blogging world and we know we have a lot to learn. We are working on integrating this blog into www.k9waste.com which is in the process of being redesigned. We are in the process of finishing up the design of the site (still learning CSS, Blogger, Picasa, etc). But we hope to officially launch the new website within a month.

Best Regards,
James
