i'm everywhere! Had planned to use WP just to revamp my "official" site, adding a mailorder cart system and archives for art projects in music, video,

print & eBooks in digital and physical media formats... but after taking just a brief look at WordPress I'm very surprised at how robust the "blog" element is! Should I pick and choose between hosts and transfer files to one or use them all at the same time?

In addition to the forthcoming release of "NOTHING WILL HURT" my new CD with bill bissett, and "Big Boy Essence" a brand new comic art and poetry book,

I'm especially excited about digging into the back catalog of rare and out-of-print Casual Casual and getting it better represented online now that I'm up and running with all the new software. Stay tuned for more ..as it comes in!

WordPress is installed ~ I got my stolen domain name back and hopefully this goofy .gif version of the flash animation will work… unfortunately, it’s still not working here on the Mac in this instance anyway unfortunately . Tomorrow I will dig in and see if I can convert them all into better looking formats that actually work on all machines and iOS devices perhaps with html5. Then thursday it’s on to the Arizona desert where this website will take you through a portal, by way of the Solar Eclipse. Onward and upward!

This letter from "ASC" clearly illustrates that Charles McVety's LOOPHOLE for H8 is none other than Tim Hudak and the Progressive Conservative Party.

Dear Sir/Madame:

Re: Our Case #16894 ‐ Institute for Canadian Values – “Don’t Confuse Me” – Newspaper Advertisements

Advertising Standards Canada (“ASC”), the national advertising industry self‐regulatory body, has received a number of complaints about the advertising noted above.

When ASC receives consumers’ complaints about advertising, they are reviewed against the provisions of the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards (“Code”), the principal instrument of advertising self‐regulation in Canada. The Code is available at ASC’s website (www.adstandards.com).

The consumers’ complaints appeared to raise an issue under Clause 14 (Unacceptable Depictions and Portrayals) of the Code. However, on October 3, 2011, it was brought to ASC’s attention that the core issues in the newspaper advertisements by the Institute for Canadian Values that were recently published in the National Post and the Toronto Sun appear to have been taken‐up and adopted in flyer advertising to various ridings in the Greater Toronto Area by some Ontario Progressive Conservative Party candidates.

These PC flyers clearly qualify as “Political Advertising” which, in the Code, is defined as “advertising (that appears) at any time regarding a political figure, a political party, a political or government policy or issue, or an electoral candidate.”

If the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party had not advertised as it did in its flyers, ASC would, by following the Consumer Complaints Procedure under the Code, schedule these complaints for a hearing by Council. The subject of this Political Advertising by the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, however, intermingles the very fundamental issues that concern those who complained about the advertising by the Institute of Canadian Values.

Regardless of the sequence in which these advertisements appeared, ASC has no authority to apply the Code to matters, such as Political Advertising, or the inextricably related advertising by the Institute of Canadian Values that appears to have inspired the Political Advertising.

For these reasons, ASC must now decline to proceed further and will close its file on this matter. Yours sincerely,

I’ve just filed a complaint against The National Post with The National Ads Council for printing this ad for Charles McVety's "Institute for Canadian Values" promoting Religious Intolerance and HATE. It is a clear example of the Religious Right lobbying to sabotage our tax-funded education system

I was tempted to tape Kevin requesting Tim Hudak or anybody from the PCs to come and speak to us or at least attend our Keep The Faith rally. I know I already invited them, in fact several of us invited all the candidates we could from every party both as individual citizens and as CSA and with the exception of the Green Party they definitely haven't been taking their fingers out of their ears.

Please help us out and get involved! Ask your local candidate these questions yourself or your own questions! Let's not let them get away with it!
I'm not sure what I find more insulting. We have gotten identical 'cookie-cutter' non-responses from the Liberal Party... whose members apparently aren't allowed to think or speak for themselves... and plenty of two-faced double talk from the NDP who like to take credit for being all about democracy — but have been just as complicit as the other parties in preventing the establishment of one secular school system if not more so. Instead of supporting secular values they prefer to support H8. Were we to believe the hype, wouldn't the NDP be first in line demanding that the Green Party are invited to debate and that all of our issues be given equal respect and attention?

Rally Supporting Gay/Straight Alliances Attracts Attention and Support

Rick Mercer Comes Out In Support Of GSA's

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 15, 2011) - The Canadian Secular Alliance rally at Queen's Park this Sunday to support gay/straight alliances in publicly funded Catholic schools has received endorsements from comedians Rick Mercer, Gavin Crawford, and Elvira Kurt.

"This rally is about supporting the rights of students," says spokesperson Kevin Smith. "It is not anti-religious." Some groups were discouraged from attending after making statements deriding religious groups.

A broad spectrum of guest speakers will discuss related issues, including ending tax privileges afforded to separate school systems in Ontario, and provincial educational equity policies that favour religious dogma.

"In addition to the violation of human rights, the province cannot afford over $500 million every year to fund a separate school system for a single religious group," Smith says.

The rally takes place from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at Queen's Park on Sunday, September 18.

Lisa and I were on the phone yakking about blogs and she told me she actually started working on a blog someplace awhile back but then she forget her passsword or the URL or something... so now it's somewhere someplace in cyberspace ...just more cyberspace space junk.

I thought that that was funny but then I started to really wonder just how many of these Dead Letter Blogs could be out there. The corker came when i actually stumbled across something I'd completely forgotten about. Mmm hmm, that's right... a website of my
own which I started awhile back ...like 3 to 4 years back! Longer than many an OS n'est-ce pas? But lo and behold this may have been waaay years back, and everything ... but holy shizel manizel it's a got-dang fully functioning working blog.

Does anybody remember UserLand Frontier, or have you perhaps seen me walking around in my T-Shirt with a big cactus logo, and a cowboy hat? Well you might not recall Frontier but I sure do. Anyways, a bit of surfing around and I quickly discovered Dave Winer and my old friends at UserLand have been very busy inventing stuff like the RSS newsfeed and all kinds of new software to great popular and critical acclaim. Like Radio Userland and Manila (as in..you got it... my Manila site.) What... did these guys lay down the foundations for the entire BLOG CULTURE and CIVILIZATION while i was away?

I just set up some MUSIC and RADIO links over there on the left margin of this blog template. Can you see them? That's right. There they are underneath the picture of the handsome dude in the hockey gear. See them yet? No? Keep going, then. Scroll below "previous posts", and "archives"... There they are.."Radio & Music" the first section under the "Links" header.
If you have a good speed line, check out what's available. There are plenty of free MP3s as well as streaming feeds of great music and radio programming that you can have running while you read your eMail and surf around.
Go ahead and click on Air America... I'll wait right here.

A new "Air America" window will pop up. Now click on the logo in the top left that says "Listen Live." That should boot "Real Player" and if you're dialing in at the right time of day you can hear Al Franken's show live or rebroadcast or perhaps one of the other shows like Janeane Garofalo's or Randi Rhodes. See their page for the time schedule. The main point is get that working and the rest of the links in the body of this entry should work for you.

Sorry, rabble.ca... but tuning in to hilarious Al Franken's O'Franken Factor on Air America radio and getting all revved up about kooky scary US politics is what really motivated me to join Canada's New Democratic Party. Who would've guessed how much (old) democrats love the Grateful Dead? In between the laughter and tears, no matter what else is happening, sweet old Al Franken will be scooping out cherry Jerry Garcia. I'm not lying. Dig the on-air programming but the Air America blog is chock full of name-calling trolls.

He just wrote me back and confirmed that "limmy" is indeed pronounced:
"like Jimmy with an L."

Some of my dumb and dumber Canadian friends and I thought it might be "LIMEY" because he's from like Scotland or Ireland or someplace British,or somefing ...but my friend "S" was right when she wrote:

"It would be pronounced limb-ee, like Lemmy, but with an "i" instead of an "e". I don't think a Glaswegian would call themselves anything that sounds like "limey".
