Pacha Ibiza is one of the label's biggest and most famous house club. Created in Ibiza in 1973, this little old finca has grown into the most dominant clubbing brand in the world, with the Ibiza venue still very much the driving force and jewel in the crown. Pacha is inextricably linked with Ibiza itself and the name represents much more than a club venue; it is a lifestyle brand that continues to grow with franchises all over the world. Ultimately though, it is the fireworks (often literally) at the club that are the real source of inspiration and the reason why Pacha is still the top clubbing destination in Ibiza.
PETE TONG is Britain's best-loved dance DJ. He doesn't need an award to prove his popularity and he won't act cool to keep his credibility. The host of Radio 1's ground-breaking Essential Selection show for a staggering eight years, he works within the mainstream, but is respected by the underground.
Born in Dartford, educated in Rochester and inspired by the underground soul scene of the late seventies (and the music of the time...by the likes of Funkadelic, James Brown & Evelyn "Champagne" King) Pete's first DJ job was at a wedding.
Sander Kleinenberg is a Dutch DJ and producer. Born in Delft in 1971, he started DJing in his early teens playing at local bars. After getting his start in production in 1996, some of the biggest DJs in the world, including Sasha, Deep Dish, and Max Graham have used his tracks on their mix compilations. "My lexicon" and "Sacred" are examples of his trancier production work, while "The Fruit" and "Work To Do" are examples of a more funk-tinged house. His most recent compilations fall under the "Everybody" moniker, and reflect the style of DJing that he is playing out at the time.
Fatboy Slim (born Quentin Leo Cook on July 31, 1963, also known as Norman Cook) is an English big beat musician.
Quentin Leo Cook grew up in Reigate, Surrey, England, and was educated at Reigate Grammar School. He started a punk fanzine titled Peroxide with his neighbour Andrew Thomas and art student Ian McKay (formerly Laidlaw). Contemporary with his publishing activities, he played drums in Disque Attack (a British new-wave-influenced rock band) for which he later performed lead vocals. At Reigate College he also met Paul Heaton and, at 18, he went to the Brighton Polytechnic to study a BA in English, Politics and Sociology. Although he had begun DJing some years before, it was at this time that he began to develop his skills on the thriving Brighton club scene.
Angel Linde
Angel has DJing in Ibiza for the past 12 years, which explains his magical vibe and his reluctance to play abroad. He has smashed the floor in every Ibiza nightclub including the famous trio of Amnesia, Space and Pacha. The cherry on top thus far has to be his residency at Pacha Ibiza and decision to join the Pacha Booking Agency. To go through the list of DJs he has played alongside would be futile, especially if you play daily in a club that has summer residents such as Oakenfold, Morales, Knuckles and Morillo. His uncanny ability to read the demands of the dance floor demonstrates his teeming experience and understanding. From gut wrenching House in the main room to deep dirty techno in the backroom, Angel gradually builds a set, working his grooves whilst exposing a heaving audience to diverse styles of music. In 2002 Angel mixed the successful Pacha Ibiza Winter Sessions CD and in 2003 he mixed the Ibiza Resident DJ sessions. He has played in famous clubs such as Discoteque in Barcelona, Creamfields in Liverpool and almost every Pacha on the globe. Here is a DJ that delivers, no matter what the style or the crowd. An experienced and dedicated multi-styled resident, in one of the best nightclubs in the world, which has finally decided to take that groove across the globe....
