Hey guys, just some quick ideas for some studded project i really want to try my hand at, you've already seen my studded converse tutorial which i think went really well so i want to give myself a challenge for this spring/summer and go for a nice studded rocker look.

I love studded bras they just look so cute but edgy and great for summer when they're worn to be seen girls :P

This jacket is just so gorgeous yet can be created so easily - definitely worth turning an old jacket into something new and in style

I do love this effect, im not sure i would choose this pattern, maybe i would do a cross or a heart maybe?

I love the simplicity of this

An this just reminds me of this image i saw in a fashion magazine called fashion institute and i thought yes i definitely have to make this, i would love to do it with large spikes like below

Hi guys,

Im loving the nude lip trend but ive been seeing a lot that looks like someone has put concealer over there lips and they just blend in with their face eeek.

Case in Point

It makes people look washed out and kinda ill in my honest opinion.

Then we come to scarlett johanson who has a pretty perfect pout in any lipstick but has perfected that perfect nude lip.

I like the fact that she keeps a hint of pink to her nude lip, a look i often wear myself.

DIY: From Skirt To Dress

Hey guys,

I have a confession to make --- I'm a sucker for a bargain!!!

But who isn't right? So I found this skirt in primark for £1 only a £1 and I sometimes just buy things for the fabric which is why I initially bought this. It was a size 16 so I knew it wouldn't fit but I thought it would cost more to find fabric similar to it so I bought it with the hopes of changing it.

I tried it on and it was way too big and had a broken zip so I knew I would have to remove the zip.
So I tried it on as a dress just over my bust and I thought with a belt to cinch the waist it would make a great summer dress.

What I used
About 1 inch thick elastic
Sewing machine
Cotton
Scissors
Time :20 Minutes

First I removed the belt loops by unpicking the cotton, I did this with scissors but you should probably use an unpicker tool.

I then removed the zip , again unpick the cotton to not damage the fabric

Once the zip has been removed I then pin the fabric where the zip used to be and stitch.

If your skirt is like mine once you removed the zip you opened the "channel of the top hem.

Now I can thread my elastic through.

Once threaded pin the elastic together

Then flatten and stitch either side to make sure the elastic join lays flat.

Then stitch the fabric together, avoiding the elastic.
Finished, just add a cute belt to cinch your waist.

The plus about it being elasticated is you can still wear it as a skirt like so,

OOTD: Stylish And Petite

Hey guys,

Ive never done an outfit of the day post before so I'm not sure if you guys are interested but i thought id try doing a few. Let me know what you think.

Here is today's outfit

I wore trousers from primark which cost £5 i took them up to my leg length by hemming them

The shirt is a thrift store find, it has lovely detail on the front, it is full sleeves but i rolled them up to three quarter.
The bag is a car boot find and only cost me 0.50p
The shoes I've had for a few years now i got them from primark too i think they were £6 on sale.

The sunglasses are from years back and i cant remember where i got them from but they only cost me about £1.00, because thats how much i would of spent haha

To think about it the entire outfit only cost me £11.00 not including the ring as it was a present

DIY - Layered Vintage Style Lace Skirt

Hey guys,

As you already know by now I'm obsessed with lace and i love lace shorts like these below, i was just after a skirt like this layered lace look.

Ive been seeing everywhere this season at about £30. I don't have that kind of money to spend on a skirt so i decided to make my own.

Here's what i used

Three different types lace in three different but complementary colours
a sewing machine
cotton
taupe Jersey fabric
pins

Total cost £7.75

Start by cutting your fabric into 2 squares measuring your waist and length allowing for ahem.

Put the pieces together and pin, try it on and make sure its form fitting now is the the time to make adjustments to the shape so i made the waist smaller. i then stitch a hem at the bottom.

I took my lace pieces and measure them to length leaving about 3inches for the the top hem open. I then stitched each piece on .

After doing both pieces of fabric i pinned each side and joined them together. I then folded over the hem and stitched all around allow an opening for the elastic avoiding the lace.

Then i threaded through the elastic.

And stitched with a zigzag stitch for strength and stitch each side of the elastic so it would lie flat.

Done!!!!!

DIY: Cute Bikini Top

Hey guys,

Summer is almost here, well as much of a summer as britain gets. So it will soon be time to start getting your bikinis out from storage, right? ha ha.

I like wearing bikini tops instead of bras most days, not only is it more comfortable but most of the time bikini tops are worn to be seen so with a sheer top over I find it perfect for hot days.

What I used
A bikini top as a pattern
Scissors
Cotton
Sewing machine
Fabric
Pins

First I measured my old bikini top against my fabric and allowing for a hem cut out two identical pieces of fabric.

Then I cut out about a 2 inch waist band.

I then cut out four times the widths of my current bikini strap and cut in half.

Then i folded both sides into the centre and stitched

Both straps done

Then i attached the cups on the inner edge of the cups and hem the outer edge of the cup and stitch.

I Then placed the cups onto the waistband with rights sides facing like so

Then i folded the waist band over tucking in the edge for seamless finish and sew.

Make a small dart above each cup where the strap meets to straighten the strap, this will gape otherwise.

Cut off any excess cotton and done!!!!

I reckon I just saved myself £14 :)

DIY - All Star Studded Converse

Hey guys,
Just another one of my DIY posts for you.

I've been seeing a lot of studded converse recently and I really love the look, just not the price tag.

Cool, right?

So armed with my ten year old converse boots(which are in great condition still, if not a little faded)

and some copper stars studs I got off EBay I made some lovely star studded converse for about a £1, can you say bargain?

The studs are four pronged push ins like pins then you close them flat to the fabric, make sure they're flat because it will rub against your ankle if you have any raised. You want to figure out how your going to put them on, whether in a pattern or design or following the curve of the shoe.

I went for simply covering the outer edge and leaving the inner black with its all star logo which I love. I also left out the heel because it's rubber.

When they're finished you will get a whole new lease of life our of them. I just love mine , stylish yet alternative.

And Perfect for Summer ;)

DIY: Red White And Blue American Flag Shorts

Hey guys, its been a bit hectic this week so sorry for the absence but I'm happy to say Ive got a new camera yay! So i will be doing video tutorials on some of the things i make and this will be my first video.

The video will be posted in the next day or so on my new youtube channel which ill make sure to let you guys know by posting the link on here.

This is the picture tutorial step by step

What i used

Old white jeans
Permanent Markers
Tape
Pencil
Star Stencil
Scissors

First i cut my jeans into shorts, i cut them at an angle and folded them in half to make sure they were even.

Then using a star stencil i marked out my stars

Then went over with a small blue marker pen.

Once done i started to colour around all the stars

Then i marked out the red stripes with tape and coloured them in.

Iron on hot heat to fix the ink And Done!!!

To make sure the ink stayed in i washed them in a normal machine on a 40c wash and although they faded a little i think i prefer them :)

My only regret is using two different permanent markers as one of the blues didn't fade like the other so in hindsight i would use only one. Oh well Learn as i go :)

Colour Me Skinny!!!!!

Hey guys,

One thing I'm noticing a lot of this year is coloured skinny jeans. Would you wear? Being petite some people tend to stay a way from colour(hands up, yep me) but shouldn't it be the opposite? being small you can get away with daring fashion and wear really bright colours to stand out from the crowd and not look garish so why not embrace it?

WHERE TO FIND THEM
Gorgeous mint green skinnys at Littlewoods for 36.00
Very are quite cheap and have them in Pink, lilac, yellow, blue and more!
At bit more expensive is Macy's skinny Jeans at about $80.00 which come in hot pink, red and green

Miss Selfridge are only 20.00 for the yellow Jeans and more, some even cheaper.

DIY: Fringe Logo Tank Top

Hey guys,

while i was doing some searching online for aztec print fabric i came across this picture

and although i love the skirt i like the tank also and i thought i would have a go at making one.
what i used
scissors
plain black t shirt
dark t shirt transfer paper
iron
printer
ink

I can never bring myself to cut into my big band t shirts so i just used an old black t shirt for this creation.

First i cut off the neck,bottom and sleeves.

(sorry it looks a bit bitty)
Then i printed out my transfer which was a guns n roses logo and cut it from the rest of the paper and placed on my t shirt to check it looked OK.

following the instructions of the transfer paper(not all are the same so make you sure you read how to) i used my iron and pressed firmly once a minute or so has passed of ironing it on i removed the paper

Then using a book as a guide i cut small strips starting at the seam of either side.

Once i cut the strips i pulled gently on them and rolled them slightly

I also cut up higher at the front and lower at the back for added comfort.
And DONE!!!!!!

Simple yet effective.

DIY: Heart Shaped Lace Insert Pockets

Hey guys,

i decided to have a go at messing around with my old jeans and came up with the idea of heart shape lace inserts for the pockets, which in theory would be cute right?

So i took my boring old pocket and got to work, first by putting some card inside it to keep it firm and flat.

Then i sketched a heart shape onto the fabric, with pencil but you can use pen.

Just a rough design as it was really just for practise

Then i cut out some lace to fit in the insert

and placed it inside

then i glued around the inner edges of the heart lightly and pressed firmly, before leaving to dry i removed paper to make sure it didn't stick.

and i think they turned out quite cute.

the second pocket turned out a little better than the first but you know what they say practise makes perfect.

DIY: How To Acid Wash Jeans

Hey guys

Ive been seeing a lot of acid wash coming into fashion this year, whether as a throwback 80s look or the grunge of the 90s whatever the reason its in this year and i love it!!!

But this look can come at a price and i wanted mine to be as cheap as possible so armed with jeans i bought for 50 pence and a bottle of bleach of which i would use about 20 pence worth i got to it.

I took my jeans and placed them flat out in my bathtub i decanted the bottle of bleach into an old clean spray bottle ( i didn't add water but you can if you want less lift) and sprayed my jeans working on some area more than other and using different techniques to get different looks like misting and spraying directly near the fabric. Then when reached desired shade i placed them in the washer and dryer and they are done!!!!

I think they turned out really nice and only cost me 70 pence. Less than a pound for acid wash jeans? i know its unbelievable . Its easy and cheap so if you have an old pair of jeans why not give it a go, just be careful as bleach is a chemical and can be dangerous it also will strip almost anything of its colour so wear something old so it wont be ruined!!!!!!!!! And be careful of your surroundings, fancy furnishings and pets should not be near by :)
