How do you discover your hidden talents?  By exploring your inner being and letting go of everything you believe to be true about who you are.  You are not the things you possess, the job you have, the clothes you where, the house you live in, or the people you spend time with.  You are infinite, significant, and beautiful.  You are all knowing, all powerful, and abundant.  You are energy contained in human form.

Be true to yourself.  Be honest.  Be loving and caring.  Love yourself.  Love who you are.  Be and let be.  Desire nothing.

Mike Stanfield, songwriter and front man for York Region based Blackdog Ballroom, sits with Mark Pezzelato to talk about all things music. In this interview you will hear about how Mike and his band won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, his projects, his aspirations and his inspirations. Comprised in 2005 A.D in Oak Ridges, Ontario, Bad Songwriting One Hundred and One, or BS 101 as they are more lovingly known to their stalkers, have come to be known for their cathartic lyrics, interactive stage performances, and profound musicianship. Originally a duo consisting of Pez on rhythm vocals and the guitarded and programming skills of Ballza Steele, the desire to interact and perform with a greater number of men overcame these creative masterminds and street performer Capo was asked to join the band on lead rhythm drums, as well as former back up dancer Insane Maclean to complete the foursome on rhythm bass.

EverGlo is a pop/rock trio from Newmarket, Ontario. EverGlo consists  of  lead vocalist, Kat Vhonda, guitarist/vocalist, Leo Gray, and drummer/vocalist, Lawrence Panzini Jr. These three voices unite together to bring its listeners truly spectacular songs. EverGlo creates music with a very clear message of understanding, struggle, and overcoming obstacles. In this interview you can hear how EverGlo came to be. In 1999, Mark Pezzelato began to create and record music for Vanek. Since those early beginnings, he has written over 100 songs, played all instruments (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals) on 3 full length albums; “Vanek Self-titled Debut”, “Open Arms (Acoustic Ablum)”, and “Beyond Recognition” and played over 30 shows. The development of Vanek has seen many changes, one of those is becoming a full 5 piece band including two drummers. Noteably, 2009, was a monumental year for Vanek with much growth and success happening very rapidly.

The 2009 Vanek album “Beyond Recognition”, is now re-released on iTunes in anticipation for the new Vanek album ”I Am Here”, which is set to be released in early 2012.

Mark Pezzelato interviews Elvis Tribute Artist Kevin Mills about this special night you will never forget.

Three world-class Tribute Artists take the stage in support of CanLyme. Kevin Mills, a Richmond Hill resident is currently performing with Legends in Concert at Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Kevin’s career highlights include performing as Elvis at President Clinton’s Inauguration. In 2010 Kevin was ranked second in the world by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and will be competing during Elvis week in Memphis for this year’s title. Stacey Whitton as Marilyn Monroe joins us direct from Las Vegas. Lance Lapinski is currently portraying Rock & Roll piano pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis in the Tony Award winning musical Million Dollar Quartet now playing at the Apollo Theatre in Chicago, IL.

Together with our show band Rudy & the Angels the performers will create an evening you will never forget.

We recommend you arrive between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and have your picture taken with the stars of our show.

The evening is in memory of Gabe Magnotta and a portion of the funds generated will be donated to The Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
