Laura & Zach came up with the idea to start their engagement session at Love City Brewing in Philadelphia. It was one of their favorite spots in the city so it seemed like a natural choice to meet up, grab a beer or two and start their engagement session. And naturally after a couple beers they were ready to hit the streets and start laughing….which of course we did as we walked the side streets of the Callowhill section of Philadelphia. And by sunset we found ourselves up on the Philadelphia Rail Park swinging, strolling and still laughing. Laura & Zach, it was a grand time with you guys the other week! You kept it light, upbeat and super fun. Let’s bring that same energy to the wedding at The Fitler Club next year. Enjoy your engagement photos you guys!

Hannah & Austin’s Normandy Farms Wedding

Hannah & Austin’s Normandy Farms wedding took place in August and what a freakin’ day it was! There are SOOOO MANY photos in this blog post just because there was SOOOO MUCH that happened on their wedding day. What a fun crew Hannah & Austin assembled to help them celebrate their wedding. Our photo and video crews started the day off with everyone as the wedding party got ready at Normandy Farms before heading to the campus of Villanova University for the wedding ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova Church. Villanova is of course where Hannah & Austin and basically half of their wedding party all went to school and met. So it was the natural setting for the wedding ceremony. Speaking of the ceremony, Hannah’s dad was the one who performed the marriage. We were there in Avalon this summer as well when Hannah’s dad performed the marriage ceremony for Hannah’s sister, Nicole as well. A dad being able to officiate his two daughters’ weddings in the same summer is pretty special. So onto the party at Normandy Farms. Well, I guess just take a look at the photos down below. It was a party and a half and it was so much fun to be a part of. Like craziness….in all the best ways. You guys, what can I say? From the engagement session to Nicole & Alexander’s wedding in June to your wedding in August it has been quite a year. And I am so happy that we will be doing it all again next year for Nicole & Alexander’s reception! You two are the best. Thank you for having and trusting us. I can’t wait for you to see these photos from your incredible day!

Ashley & John’s Downtown Club Wedding Video

Ashley & John’s Downtown Club wedding from this past summer was yet again another wedding affected by the pandemic. However, they did hold their wedding ceremony on the original date in early January. As you will hear Ashley’s dad talk about in his toast, there were only a handful of family and friends at the wedding in January. Ashley & John had to wait to hold their big celebration until the summer. Well, it was worth the wait and definitely did not disappoint. They held their wedding reception this past July at Cescaphe’s Downtown Club just next door to Independence Hall. The reception had all of the food, partying and sweaty dancing that I am sure they originally imagined for their wedding. They just had to wait several months for that vision to come true. Ashley & John, I hope you and your families love your wedding video! Thank you for sticking it out over a rather difficult year and allowing us to celebrate twice with you all!

Nicole & Joe’s Waterworks Wedding Video

Nicole & Joe’s Waterworks wedding took place on a Thursday. This past Thursday to be exact. Originally scheduled for last year they had to postpone their wedding date due to the pandemic. And then just about 2 weeks ago they narrowly missed having to postpone yet again due to the Schuylkill River rising to just about a foot below where they were scheduled to have their outdoor wedding ceremony. They dodged a bullet on that. So last Thursday came around and Nicole & Joe were FINALLY able to get married in Philadelphia, outdoors along the banks of the recently receded Schuykill River. This is the teaser video that Jordan created for them yesterday. We love the use of the drone shots throughout this video. Cescaphe’s Waterworks is really a perfect location for the use of our drone. It lends itself to sweeping views, it’s right along the river and the sun sets over the river to the west making for a dramatic scene in any video. Nicole & Joe, you finally did it. Congratulations. Thank you for trusting us to document your day!

Chelsea & John’s Beach Plum Farm Engagement Session

Chelsea & John’s Beach Plum Farm engagement session from July was absolutely gorgeous. The day was pretty cloudy and slightly rainy up until the moment that Chelsea, John and I met at Beach Plum. Then the clouds lifted slightly and we were blessed with a stunning sunset on the beach in Cape May Point. You guys, if this is any indication of what we can expect next year for the wedding at Willow Creek Winery then we are all in for another stunner of a day!

Alyssa & Dan’s Lake House Inn Wedding

Alyssa & Dan’s Lake House Inn wedding took place in Bucks County, Pennsylvania right on Lake Galena. Their wedding ceremony was just feet away from the lake and their wedding reception took place as the sun set right over the water. The Lake House Inn is one of Bucks County’s most picturesque wedding venues and Alyssa & Dan were gifted with a gorgeous mid summer afternoon for their wedding. We were so excited to share in the day with Alyssa, Dan and their wonderful wedding party and I am very excited to share these photos with them. You guys, thank you for having us. The day was pretty perfect and we can’t wait for you to see these photos. There will be much, much more to come!

Chelsea & Justin’s Waterworks Wedding Video Feature

Chelsea & Justin were married twice. They were married last year in the height of the early part of the pandemic. Naturally the had to postpone their wedding reception to 2021. While they were originally schedule to have their 2020 reception at Cescaphe’s ballroom in Northern Liberties, the way it all shook out then ended up having their big wedding party under the tent at The Waterworks along the banks of the Schuylkill River. Jordan created this beautiful and emotional feature edit for Chelsea and Justin but they, their families and all of their friends brought all that energy. Kasia & Luke’s Aldie Mansion wedding from late May was the culmination of two years of planning, two wedding ceremonies and multiple wedding dates. But in May everything came together and they had one of the most fun parties and celebrations that we have had the privilege to be a part of. Their feature video below combines aspects of both wedding days….a first for us. As they were married last year in front of just a handful of masked friends and family, Jordan combined some of their “official” wedding into this video of their celebration day. And as usual, Jordan pulled of a wonderful and beautiful video edit which captures all of the emotion, joy and exuberance from this fantastic day in May.
