Now I have Google's Friend Connect working on the site and have adjusted Twitter side bar, Google AdSense advertising and Friend Connect to only display when a visitor has not signed into the site.The reason for having these widgets display for visitors only is really simple. When the site is setup with encrypted login and member areas these widgets will create a backdoor to the encrypted areas. What is worse the backdoor will lead to Google, the world's most powerful search engine and Twitter, the world's greatest broadcaster of information at 140 characters per tweet.

Ok I got AdSense working (just barely). My next challenge will be to get Friend Connect established here as well. My aim is to demonstrate how Drupal may be used in a business setting and more importantly how not to use it in a business setting.

With the advances in open source web development widely available, why would anyone buy web authoring software or hire someone to design and/or develop their web sites? For instance I found Netbeans (an open source Integrated Development Environment) is a great tool for developing database powered web site. It took a few hours to learn the basics including creating and connecting to the database that will be used in the web application.
