This maybe a good for the government officials for the discovery of the oil deposit. But sad to say that this might be good for the government if they maintain the said oil deposit to make sure the government and Filipino people will be benefited to this natural resources...

This might bring the Phlippines, into development and wealth. But bad things if this will be for businessman alone to handle and manipulated by those greed political figures in the government.

We are really rich in natural resources but government miss handling all of this and only individuals and politicians being benefited to make them more wealthy as they corrupt the government money...

We hope that this discovery will bring the Philippines development and start of our economic success into global tradings. This resources will be helpful to improve the military capability for us to able protect and defend our territory that no one will embarrassed us.

The government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front come up with the negotiation to end the longest cessation in Mindanao, Philippines.

But there's a question in the peace agreement that will criticize by other political figures. Because words "state"...meaning the MILF will allow to create a state on their own? The question now... the state that reiterated by the MILF is under the Philippine government?

It's hard to imagine. Because if they have their own state...they set a government and control the flow of business and government taxes in the area. If that happen they can gather more resources and build their strong forces that someday... the Philippine government did not control them when they ask for independence...

Relation with China

During the rule of Sung Dynasty (960-1127) in China, chinese goods began to flow in a continuous stream into the Philippines.

Chinese colonies were founded in the coastal town of the archipelago. During the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), other colonies were established in the hinterland.

If we look back into the past. The history of the Filipino culture was originated from China, and other Asian countries. No wonder if the Chinese government claim all those islands and islets in South China Sea.

They will also claims some part of the Philippines, where they colonies in the rule of Ming Dynasty.

But Chinese didn't know that those particular land they claim is also with their own brothers. Because people of the Philippines, is not different from them. The different are the education and religion.

Filipinos are educated not to be greedy but those in China who run the government wanted to be greedy and expand their power at sea most especially the Asian region.

Were both Asian or maybe both chinese in blood. Why those people in the government of China, didn't know about brotherhood? Philippines, is one of the great nation who help them to established. Philippines is the country where they start exploring their products...

Under the constitution of the Philippines. Provinces and Municipalities are covered under RA 7160 known as the Local Government Code of 1991. They are under the local executive of the provinces which is under governors control. All projects in the provinces are initiated by those provincial governors. Provinces has their own fund to manage the provinces development program and other related matters to improve the lives of the citizens in the provinces...

These three branches of LGU's are centralized under the National Government to implement policies and development program of the government.

I don't understand why people always asking the president to improve their localities. Even the rural health clinics and other barangay problems will blame to the President or asking help from the President...

It's not the jobs of the President to see all these things. There are local officials to see those problems. Not fault of the President if those development not implemented. This must be blame to the governors and municipal mayors...

The Philippine, is a country where most people are dominated of Catholic Church. This country also has the problem of political and religious differences.

Even if the Philippine Constitution state under Art. III, Bills of Right, sec. 5. of the 1987 constitution, Provide:

No Law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights.

Under the constitution there is a separation between the church and state. I don't understand those catholic priest always acts forcibly to manipulate the state.

The rationale of the rule is summed up in the familiar saying, "Strong fences make good neighbors." The idea is to delineate the boundaries between the two institutions and thus avoid encroachment by one against the other because of the misunderstanding of the limits of their respective exclusive jurisdictions. The demarcation line call on the entities "render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things are God's."

Read the preamble state; We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just and human society and establish a government that shall embody our ideals and aspiration, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of independent and democracy under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality and peace, do ordain and promulgate that constitution.

Under this phrase. There is no words that any priest was called to established a government but our Almighty God to help us. Those priest did not help in event that our country is struggling economy. This Apache helicopter which the Armed Forces of the Philippines, needed to combat the rising conflict in some parts of Mindanao and fight the rebels CPP/NPA.

I think it is now the time for the Philippine Military, to modernized it's military equipment and facility to protect the countries rising tension with other country who are claiming some portion of the territory.

If the government did not monitor the military expenditure. The Armed Forces of the Philippines, is always the worse military in the entire Asian region. The government must see to it...that all equipment being buy is new and not surplus. Like those jet buy by Ramos administration before which all those plane are risking the lives of the pilot. One of the best President that I appreciate so much. Was the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

He is among the best that make this country be proud off. When he was the President, our country is no. 1 in Asia if we are talking about economy and Japan is the second one.

At the time of Pres. Marcos, we are respected by other countries. Some people in Asia, come to the Philippines, looking for Jobs. But now, we are going abroad to look for a jobs.

I read from a comments. That South Korea, copied the way of Marcos, to run a government. Which is now Korea, is one of the best economy in Asia.

Now, what is happening to this country (Philippines)? All of the said good politicians are among the evil one in the Government. They are criticize Marcos, in what he did to our country but they cannot criticize on what they did to our country...?

What will be the next Osama Bin Laden? Who will be preside the position of Bin Laden? Those Al-queda stop their terror activities since Osama Bin Laden, was killed?

There are many raises questions regarding the death of bin laden. This will be a victory from the United States of America, but what is the consequences of this killing? Do we assure for more terrorist attacks in the future because of the retaliation of his followers. Do we expect that this world is now free from terrorist attack because bin laden, is now gone in the history of terrorism?

Terrorist did not choose who they are attacking. They don't mind about people and what kind of people they killed. What important with them was to killed and spread terror in all the corner of the world.

Good for the United State, because they have high tech equipment to trace those terrorist. But what about the Philippines, the other countries that attacks by terrorist too?

CPP/NPA don't like peace

The declaration of the Communist Party of the Philippines/New Peoples Army, shows that they are not reliable on their words about the on going peace process with the Governments.

The very basic of peace which makes our country free from any hostilities from these groups did not implemented. How can peace process between the government and this group being materialize?

How can the Filipino people attain progress if there are group that always prevent the enforcement of development in remote areas in our country? How can the government implement projects to reach the poor to provide them services and other benefits that help them to make a better life?

As I browse yahoo news this day. It caught my attention about the Ford Philippines, that they are suspending operations due to unexpected shortage of supplies from their company in Japan.

This is another impact to the economy of the Philippines. Because of the Government policy on business. Our business counter part in other countries, will likely to go somewhere to find much better government that protect them from any unpreventable consequences of their business.

What really the government plan to this country?

The policy of the Government of the Philippines, is poor and not enough to make this country in progress.

I don't see any progress since the President NOYNOY, resume his post as President of the Philippines.

There is no cleared policy of the government. In what particular perspective and vision to make this country like China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and other countries in Asia.

Why they can't set-up an agency that study the secret of Singapore, China and other countries that really progressive? That particular agency set the vision of this country...so that even if the President, will be ousted from office. The vision still continue and make the goal for development and progress to make this country proud in the future.

The hard things in our government, did not mind the laws about labor.

They increase the price of oil, it increase also the price of all important commodities. But sad to say they never increase the salary of workers.

What good things if you increase the salary but prices are much higher in price than the daily salary of workers?

Another problem here is the requirement when looking for a jobs. The surveys says that unemployment is increasingly year by year. They don't know that requirements in applying for a jobs, is one of the reason. Because people is not going to be young but year after year people will be older and older.

Since there is an age requirements from 21 to 30. Older than those age's. You are over age and hard to find a jobs. Therefore, the solution is there but the government did not acts to solve this issue.

Congress, should pass a bills that abolish the age requirements. To lessen the surprising increase of no jobs in the country. They must create a law that suit to matured people. Like in other countries that company and factory will priorities older people till age of 60.

Create more factory so that more people to employed. If there is no investors from other countries. Why don't we encourage our fellow Filipino, to invest even if they invest P10,000 into that company. But many are interested to invest...the company will be standardize like china. They create more products even if more of these products is not that quality. Instead, of importing products from other countries...we need first to patronized our products.

It is a surprise when you see that poverty in the country are suddenly increase when his government did not do anything to eliminate the problem.

Congress of the Philippines, busy to investigate many anomalies from the past administration. They never notice that the country, needs progress, needs development and so on.

I think the President Aquino, administration do nothing about progress of the country. He is busy dating women's but not looking for the progress reports of his government, if their agency has do something to improve the way of life of every Filipino's.

Here we are again with consecutive increase of oil price. At the same time electrical bills, utilities and precious commodities.

The increase of fares and others are additional burden of our impoverished citizens.

The government must do something to control the agony and grievances of our fellow citizens. Though that country will turn into unexpected further crisis as experience in the middle east and part of the African region...Due to anger by the citizens. Which overwhelm by their government and livelihood of people there...

The government must act now and implement temporary control with those oil companies and electric companies. To monitor the proper oil price in the world market.

Because if they do not make any action in the circumstances like this. Those greed traders in the Philippines will continuously abuse the citizens...by implementing unjust oil prices.

Why in other countries. We don't heard about the increase of oil prices. Like; Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and other nearby Asian regions...

While in the Philippines. Those traders always reiterated that oil price in the world market is high.

Okay. We accept their arguments. But why they suddenly implement the increase while they still have stored oil that they buy in lower price, right?

They are greedy in my opinion. They are not implement fair increase and the government did nothing to impose reliable price hike...

This is really what life in the Philippines? That is why we hardly attain progress in life. Because the government only focus on welfare of those businessmen...

Why the government did not prototype Singapore. Study why Singapore, rich besides it's small country in Asia...

Oil companies in the Philippines; are greedy

Here is what the Filipino's worried about again? The sudden increase of oil price with no justified reason?

Heard the news about conflict in the middle east particularly Libya. They suddenly increase the price of oil which is not proper. Because they still have their resources which is buy when there is no conflict and price is being stable.

The worse case; is that when the oil price is increase. Commodities and other important goods will be increase also. Worse scenario, when oil price are going to normal. Price of goods and services will not be roll back.

This is how the law makers in the Philippines, being useless. They can't do something in this situation but only investigating and investigating.

There should be a law that when the oil price are rolled back. All prices of goods and commodities will be rolled back also. The law must be apply immediately as soon as the oil price will be normal in the world market.

This is the reason why poverty did not lessen but increasingly added daily. Due to no law protecting the right of the poor against businessmen arrogant and greedy

Death of former AFP chief is a mystery

There are many people around the Philippines. Shock when they heard about the news regarding the death of former AFP chief Gen. Angelo Reyes.

According to preliminary investigation and witness who see the incidents. He is committed to gunshot on himself at the chest directly to his heart.

His death is a kind of mystery to others. Due to his involvement to a millions of pesos being corrupt in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Side by side allegation which is categorically denied.

But the questions is: Why he killed himself if those allegations is not true? Why he sacrifice himself if he did not cover something? Who talk to him before the incident and what they talk?

Many questions that makes a mystery because no more (ret.) general Angelo reyes, being questions and answer who really his superior pressuring him...

DND investigation is an stupid action

Manila, Philippines: I heard a news about the investigation in the part of the military according to the Department of National Defense.

This actions of the from the Defense department is quit good. But I don't believe they are successful enough to come up with the results.

The questions is. Why now?

There are many allegations in the Armed Forces of Philippines, about the corruption activities of high ranking officials in the Military and Philippine National Police.

There are many laws to increase the budget of the Military and Police. For what they called modernization program. They sell some parcel of fort bonifacio, headquarters of the Philippine Marines, to buy sophisticated equipment. But what happen...they buy tora tora and jet fighter from Italy that is all malfunction and endanger the lives of some Air forces members...

The Philippine National Police, did not have sufficient equipment where those new recruited member do not have arm gun...

Now, they start investigating?...hahaha...what a kind of stupidity investigating yourself. Military investigate military. What an stupid actions being done by these organization.

If they want changes it is now time for implementing the budget and buy what is modern. CPP NPA clean hands over human right violations

I read news about the conditions of the CPP NPA (communist party of the philippines, new peoples army) for entering into agreement with the GRP panel of Philippine Government.

There condition is to resolve some other things which is called human rights violation of the Armed Forces of Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

These people from the rightest activist did not think what the conditions are? It seems that they are not violating the human rights? It seems that they are very careful dealing with the so called "Human Right".

The rebel should not deny that they have more human rights violation than in the Government troops. But the AFP and the PNP did not bring them to the court of justice when they violate this laws or not respecting human rights?
If the Military and the Police, proven to be violated the human rights. These people are dismiss from the service inclined with criminal charges upon them.
But if the CPP NPA violating human rights. Where are those people? They can even charge or being dismiss for being a rebel?

The Military and Police is only following order to protect the people and government which is there main duty. If they violating human rights, they are charge with the offense they committed. But the rebel which is purely distracting the peaceful life of the people and encourage them to fight someone interest. Did not charge for any offense...and now the CPPNPA demand for human rights? If they really want this nation is at peace they should voluntarily bring down there arms and live with peace ask the government for the assistant for them to start a new life where their children given an equal opportunity in any fields...

AFP(Armed Forces of the Philippines) Modernization is a kind of joke

Philippines: For the past three administration AFP always cried for modernization program because after the regime of then late President Marcos. The Arm Forces of the Philippines, has the weakest military in Asia, due to lack of military equipment and gadgets.

The government always provide fund for this purpose. To equip military personnel and able to depend the country for any atrocities or aggression from any possible security treats to the country.

Under the Government by former President Fidel V. Ramos. They sell some parts of camp Bonifacio for military modernization program. But there is no modernization that being seen in the Military.

Under the Government of former President Joseph Estrada. As I remember the government set aside fund to funding the military modernization program but because the Erap is ousted from office. There still no modernization have seen...

Under the government of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, now a congresswomen in Pampanga parts district. Military again ask for modernization but the same. There is no modernization because the military buy second hand military jet plane in Italy, and all of those planes are risking the lives of Philippine Airforce.

Now, under the present government of President Noynoy Aquino. The military shows that they buy equipment which they called modernization.

What a kind of joke???? They buy tora tora which is not suitable for this era which sophisticated fighter planes equip with sophisticated technology are being seen.

Are those tora tora plane a modern plane in this era. Are those helicopter and tanks a modern warfare?

If the military have 2 cobra helicopter and 2 apache helicopter and five f16 or f17 jet fighter planes, MiG-29 1 B-2 spirit, 1 F/A raptor, 2 abram tanks, and a battleship...this is what we called a modernization not tora tora?

Meralco a greed electric company in the Philippines

Meralco is one of the biggest player of electric industry in the Philippines. Which cover Metropolitan areas, Cavite, Bulacan and some areas in Laguna.

This electric company impose increase electrical bills almost monthly. They give many alibi's to support their unjustified increased.

Those unjustified increase will now cleared a kind of greediness. Under the investigation of the Department of Energy. It show that they earn billions of money through their scheme and order them to return those excessive collection of bills.

Beside that order. Meralco, still find an alibi to recover more money from their consumers to say that they must recover some their losses due to some reason.

So, this is still a bad news from the consumers because instead of lowering their bills this coming season. It turns to be a burden for them after this year.

Peso versus dollar is now stable and no need for them to collect foreign currency adjustment and many other irrelevant charges to be pay. Meralco is a kind of business entity and it is their burden to expense money as a business which required investment not charge to the people everything they do in their company.

Those acts is a kind of greediness and the government should act to protect it's people right not to be abuse by paying charges which is not their obligation. When people apply for a electric service there is no agreement or contract to bind themselves to pay everything that the company wanted to implement

Philippines: One of the biggest player in telecommunication in the Philippines, is smart communication, and a subsidiary of the giant telecommunication company PLDT (philippine long distance telephone) co...

Besides the government policy on telecommunication and legislator created laws on prohibiting text spamming in all cellphones users in the country. Smart still continues to allow this practice where cellphone users being the victims of the cheat advertisement being sent to all the subscribers of smart where cellphone loads are being exploited.

I am disappointed to smart communication for allowing this scheme with their respective subscribers. My sister from Italy, loaded me a worth of P200 pesos approximately worth of $4.65 dollar.

After it's loaded to my cellphone. There is a notification that alerted to my cellphone. To fear this is an scheme I never open but deleted the message. But in my surprise there is another alerts telling me I am successfully subscribes with" binbit". Ouch! I never sent any message to them that I subscribes for there offer which is deducted to my load P10.

Until my cellphone load lessen to P97 pesos where I never used my cellphone to called someone.

Smart communication should not allowed this scheme. Because they have plenty of revenues from their millions of subscribers around the country. This is a cheating or scheme to scam innocent people...

Philippines: DSWD failed deliver good service to the poor

As the hearing on budget deliberation in the senate. Some senators are true to their perception that the services that should go into the most recipient with the DSWD program is failed. Because they cannot reach the most rural areas which extreme poverty was suffered.

The DSDW also focus only with the so called urban poor. How about those people in rural areas?

DSWD also did not investigate whether those program are implemented or not. They are just relied on the report from their sub-offices. Where most of the municipalities in the country, did not have any fund to support the program (DSDW).

There's a lot of irregularities also that happen in the Municipal DSWD. Those in office choose only what they wanted to support. They are not equally distribute what the goods and services that should be given to poor people.

The senate should investigate irregularities in that department. Because there are many relief goods that did not delivered to those recipient...

Recently UP student walkouts to protest educational budget being cuts where almost 3,000 students walkouts express their sentiments with the government implementation to cut the budget of education this coming year.

The education budget being cut have a big impact in implementing good education as the government said education in the country is poor. But this is not fault between the students and educators. The poor education standard in the country must be blame to the government and legislators that set criteria of education in the country.

The protesters is right and the government should listen and not being deaf. How education being set to higher level of standard if the government itself want it to be poor?

This is the time for Pnoy to realized which is the good path to set an example to see how education being blundered by his own government?
