Recently, one of my friend ask me if I do have a gmail account, i told her nope(even though I have), she told me that I should have gmail account, because I has 50 free txt a day. so I log on to my gmail and this is what I found out.

The Philippines Holds First “Spring Cleaning Day”

Five cities in Metro Manila will demonstrate how the country can save lives, time, and money, as they join the first-ever “Philippine Spring Cleaning Day (PSCD).”

In its goal to push for cleaning and sanitation as one of the most effective ways to lower the country's disease burden, representatives from the Department of Health (DoH), UP-National Institutes of Health (UP-NIH), Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines (PIDSP), Reckitt Benckiser, Lysol, and several local government units are calling for better sanitation through the institution of the first Philippine Spring Cleaning Day.

On May 11, there will be a simultaneous cleanup across five cities, namely Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Manila, and Pasay.

“We hope to educate as well as to encourage the habit of cleaning and disinfecting of Filipino homes through this annual event,” says Marichu Gozun, Senior Brand Manager of Lysol.

According to a joint study commissioned by the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), at least 20 million Filipinos are exposed to poor sanitation. This means that one-fourth of the Philippine population has poor hygiene practices, do not have the benefit of an accessible and safe toilet, or do not dispose of human waste properly. The fact that less than half of Filipinos wash their hands after using the bathroom is a very telling statistic that speaks of the country's unfortunate attitudes towards cleaning and sanitation.

Being one with the PSCD's advocacy to educate Filipinos about the significance of cleaning and disinfecting, DoH Environmental Health Chief Dr. Rodolfo Albornoz says that families should be mindful of the harmful effects of poor sanitation not only on their health but also on other aspects of their lives.

For instance, poor sanitation affects productivity. “The rhinovirus–the virus responsible for approximately 50 percent of the cases of flu and the common cold in both adults and children–causes Filipinos to lose an average of eight school or work days a year,” shares Dr. Albornoz. Consequently, poor sanitation also results in increased economic losses.

The campaign's concentration on household cleaning is highly significant because proponents of the PSCD believe that even the home, which is supposed to be every family's place of refuge, can be unsafe. They note that bacteria dwell on everyday things in the home that are taken for granted. “What people do not know is that they are more likely to get sick from germs and viruses in their own homes than in any other place,” says PIDSP President Dr. Lester Deniega.

UP-NIH Executive Director Dr. Lulu Bravo agrees. “We invite everyone to take part in this initiative and join the fight against diseases,” ends Dr. Bravo.

Indeed, intensified cleaning and disinfection will go a long way towards helping the country save time and money, reduce economic costs, and increase productivity as well as people’s overall health and productivity.

Another place you don't want to miss in visiting Bohol is the Baclayon Churh. It was really an amazing church. When i was there i really took a close look at its walls and touch it. It was really is an Corals. The only bad things was that we were 2 mins late and the MUSEO was close. But we enjoy looking and taking photos of the church anyway. It was a very nice place indeed.

It was a really great feeling that i had given a change to visit a place that has a lot to offer. I mentioned from my last post all the list that i had plan when i get there, luckily almost all of it happened, just almost, because only one place that i wasn't able to visit and that is panglao island. Its a little early to blog about this, but I'm too excited to tell you about this.lol I will be going to Bohol tomorrow and will going to depart on 12:30 pm tomorrow. I will be going there with my 3 friends and few families of my friend who invited us to go there for the yearly feast. We will be staying there for 4 days or more. Hope i can do a lot of things when i get there. Actually I got list of plans already.

List of the few things I wan to Do when i get there:

Visit Prony (Biggest Python Snake in Bohol)

Why Is It Life Is Always Unfair?

[sigh]...HmmMm...i don't know how to start it. but anyway I need to so that more people would be aware of it.lol Ok I'll tell you guys Straight to the point, it goes like this, I found out recently that there were people working in the government with less effort and earning 3x with the one who is dedicated to there work and working very hard.

Just felt sad for the people who woke up early to sweep the road and all they get is only 500pesos a month only, while there were some people working less and they get 1500.00 pesos every month, that's what I meant 3x.lol I don't why they doing it like that. Its unfair isn't it? I am sure its not only happening it our place, but also in some other places in the Philippines. Hope the government or the ombudsman will the something about it and stop this kind of unfavourable treatment to government employees.

People are working hard to put food in the table for the family, and they should be compensated based on how they work and performance. right?

Yesterday I decided to bought a WiFi Router for my personal use, so I go to my favourite shop in SM, The Octagon.lol This is not a paid review or something, it is my personal opinion on my newly bought product.hahahaha And yeah, i bought my Wireless-N Broadband Router with Internal Antenna using my Unionbank EON debit card.haha See I'm promoting a lot of company's here. Before i forget, I bought it for only 1,290.00 pesos.

Now, I'm using my router right now, its quiet cool so far in fact I am blogging a few meters away from our house(about 20meters away). Still reach the signal at 4 bars signal. Kind a enough for a semi remote area. Hehe are are some of the photos.

Maybe, I would somehow celebrate it with my Family. Because they are the most import in my life, and this special event is the most important one. I will be 2 and half decade old and I want my family to be with me on that special day...hahaha If that plan would work, I will take them to a most expensive restaurant(Like would ever happen) were all expensive foods and the best food are serve just like the foods featured in The Best Food Blog.

Way back few months, i heard this new talk show in channel 5 from my friends. They said its really funny to watch. Then i tried watching it, and yeah its really awesome though. I think it has a high ratings now.

In the show, Face To Face will invite two opposing parties which then allow them to speak out there different feelings. Their main purpose is to resolve such misunderstanding in both parties with the help of "Trio Taga Payo" and Ms. Amy Perez as well. Now, they are starting extending the show, not only in the studio but also starting to move around in every places.

Just wondering how much free alerts would other people gets from Sun/Digitel Network?hmmmm. In my case i receive 5 alerts each day, and i found it quite annoying sometimes, but i don't want to turn that off though, could they just lessen it to 1 or 2 alerts.lol Just wondering too, if what other people felt, or just the same with me.lol

Just Figure Out Something

Its almost 1 month that i been wondering how do i copy the .cda music file. Every time i copied it manually, it doesn't work. Each music has 4 something MB, but .cda music has 1KB or sometimes has 44bytes. So i tried searching on Google, luckily i found this site http://www.mymusictools.com. i never thought, i only need to have a Cd Ripper.....hahahaha just a Cd Ripper.lol

Lenten season had started already , middle week of march should be summer already supposedly, but where is it? I don't feel it. Tomorrow will be the start of April and still raining though which is not supposed to happened. In our place is very muddy. Maybe this is the effect of climate change...lol
