We'll meet up at the Cosi on 15 and Locust @ 2PM, have about an hour or so of conversation, then hit 9th and Arch for Karaoke. Come and have a good time.

It seems that Tuesday (tomorrow) is difficult for most of us to manage. Is there anyone that can make it Tuesday? What day is good for everyone? I'm also posting this message to the listserve.

So far we have Wed. @ 5PM as an option. I'm also happy to throw in Saturday afternoon after 2PM.

So let's try this again and pick a time that is convenient to most of us.

A little about the Japanese Podcast 101:

Our goal is to make Japanese, easy and fun, while incorporating culture and current issues into our lessons. We believe the more you speak the quicker you learn, so we have designed our program to get you speaking right away. Situational Japanese is heavily stressed, and our 4-member team role play various situations to demonstrate what form of Japanese to use when speaking with friends, customers, executives, etc. Knowing which form to use, separates good speakers from great speakers.

These are very detailed dialogues which break down basic conversations wonderfully. Also, you can' t beat having a native speaker.

Tuesday, 1/17/06 @ Starbucks on Broad and Walnut. We'll start at 6PM and hang out as long as we like. This Starbucks is in the same building where we have converstation club.

This Japanese restaurant is attached to a bar that has karaoke. I doubt it's "authentic" Japanese karaoke, and it's pretty far from Philly for you natives, but it's the best thing I've been able to find online...

Vash Says: A friend of mine gave me the address of somewhere in NorthEast Philly. I am searching for the slip of paper I wrote it on. Still, that is also a bit of a hike, since it‘ s all the way at the end of the Broad Street Line.

If there‘ s a way to get go kamakura via public transit, I‘ m down for it, however, I would need to get together closer to five, since I have stuff to do in the city until 2:30.

Let’s decide today!

Today we had an excellent conversation meetup. If you weren’t able to make it, for a follup meeting, we’ve decided we want to do Karaoke. Does anyone know a true Japanese Style Karaoke bar in the city? If so, let us know.

Plans so far: We want to meetup on Thursday, 12/29/05 at 3:00PM.
Where: We don’t know yet, but we would like to do Karaoke.
