What’s good my beautiful people. First off, for those who don’t know, Rockwell is officially down in Georgia at SAE Atlanta. He is a week in and will be there until October honing his wizardry. Yeah… wizardry. He’ll come back certified audio engineer and an even better producer. Speaking of production, we are already underway with writing the new album. We have done pre-production on two tracks so far and they are sounding tight! We also have some collaborations that will be on the next album with some cats, including someone of legendary status that make us feel like tweens at a Bruno Mars concert. The excitement level for our upcoming effort is none like any we have had for our previous releases. This is the one, so look out. Back in O-town, Tragic has been busy with penning the lyrics that will make you’re girlfriend moist… sorry boyfriends…. and will continue to play some shows with DJ So Nice. Check back soon for show announcements. Juno Nominations are released in a couple days, so keep praying to whomever you do for us. On the press front, please check out this blog from Phoenix, Arizona called Donuts and Milk. They did a feature on us and we’d love to help them drive some traffic there. Down south we’re getting some love and we don’t want it to stop. Another blogger from Baton Rouge, Louisiana has taken an interest in us so look out for a link soon. Spread the Movement.

Whats good all??
Your boys are getting prepped for their show this Saturday at Bishops University. We are bringing a couple of car loads worth of homies with us, we be rollin DEEP, yo! If anyone wants to come holla at your boys. Our show starts at around 5 and well be on-stage for about 40-45 minutes, after that we are gonna show Bishops how the PHILLY MOVEMENT GETS DOWN…This will be our first show performing a couple Bucketkids tracks (www.sillysmooth.com/thebucketkids) We will also be rocking a BRAND NEW Philly Moves song!!

Also, we have started pre-production on our new FULL LENGTH album that people have been clamoring for. The release date for that new album is late summer 2011 but we will be randomly dropping videos/previews of tracks leading up to its release.

Lastly, the Movement will be making its way to Toronto in March for a Showcase Opportunity at Canadian Music Week. There isn’t an exact date yet but its somewhere between the 9th and 13th. We are going to try and organize a crew of peeps to come down with us and cheer us on in hostile territory, stay tuned for details.

Whats good friends and lovers??

As you may or may not know we have started a new group that we will be working on in addition to Philly Moves. This side project, called “The Bucket Kids” features the members of PM and Ottawa products, producer/DJ “SoNice” and MC/Vocalist “Tukan”.

What’s up kids. Philly Moves is finally online. Dig it. 2011 is rapidly approaching and it’s going to be an interesting year. If you don’t already know, Rockwell is going to be heading to Audio Engineering school down in Atlanta, Geogria for nine months starting in January. He’ll be off honing his trade of sound in the dirty south while Tragic will remain in the great white north doing shows. You’ll be able to catch shows with your master of ceremonies, Tragic, along side of a DJ. We will take this time to also work on the new record. A full length 15 song motherfucking banger. Real talk. It’s gonna be the best album to hit ears since Rumors by Fleetwood Mac. It will be a new and interesting approach for us writing the album in seperate cities but Skype exists so… that’s just like hanging out in a room.

We have a bunch of new merch for sale. Stickers, pins and new tees. We will have it all for sale at our last Ottawa show of the year on December 4th at Ritual. We’ll be playing along side Neako from New Jersey, Ottawa’s Cashtro and more. Come say farewell to Rockwell and get drunk.
