My daughter went to Frankford Friends. You definitely get a real bang for your bucks. I can tell you I am so happy with the quality of the staff. And the children are super close. Be ready to have play dates and many friends attending your birthday party. I was lucky she got into Masterman 5th grade( Free education), now she is in High School at Masterman and I always credit Frankford Friends. This a nice foundation people, pay attention to this school.

I know you had to quote someone and Helen Gym hasn't had an Op Ed on the subject in a while but Gene Marks doesn't live in the city and chose to locate his business on the other side of City Line AND wrote really condescendingly about Philadelphia students. He's basically the tri-fecta of a terrible source on the subject.

If you want to quote someone from Philly Mag, Joel Mathis would've been better: <a href="http://blogs.phillymag.com/the_philly_post/2012/01/23/school-district-cuts-threaten-center-citys-vitality/" rel="nofollow">http://blogs.phillymag.com/the_philly_post/2012/0...</a>
