I remember when we first met this super cool couple. They came in for our initial consultation and it was one of those that just clicked! We had so much fun just hanging out and talking that I am pretty sure our first meeting lasted twice as long as most! We loved these guys from the beginning and I remember saying, “they were cool, I hope they book!” to Mindy when they walked out the door. Well, we were lucky enough to snag this couple and we are super glad we did! You can honestly see how much fun they have with each other in their images. We walked around downtown Nashville and had some fun grabbing some shots then ended with the obligatory Titans jersey shot on the walking bridge. Blake & Emma also get bonus points for being so patient as they were the first couple we worked with after having our baby and they were very understanding! Gear Review – The new Tom Bihn Camera Insert

I recently had the great pleasure of acquiring an amazing new piece of gear. For ages we’ve carried around SEVERAL bags to shoots, always scrambling to find bits an pieces of what we need tucked here and there. I can’t even tell you how many times a lens cap or battery has gone missing. That’s why I am so excited that Tom Bihn has officially entered the camera bag market. We were first introduced to this bag maker when we were searching for the perfect bags to take on our Europe trip. We ended up getting a couple of the Tom Bihn Aeronaut bags and LOVED them. I have kept a close eye on what Tom Bihn has been doing ever since. So, I will be doing a full video review of these bags and the new AMAZING ‘Camera Insert’ in the near future. The camera insert is a simple, genius and modular solution. It basically lets you create a custom camera bag system to fit your needs. Below is a quick “what’s in my bag” shot of the insert paired with my Tom Bihn Brain Bag backpack, love it! The camera insert securely holds your camera bodies and lenses and then slides into the backpack. Tom Bihn also has a great assortment of smaller bags and pouches that keep everything nice and organized. I was lucky to get my hands on one before they hit the market. Our Lives Are Changed Forever…Introducing Harry

Wow, where to even begin! Almost 4 weeks ago our lives changed forever…it’s been a blur and has flown by, but it’s been the best 4 weeks of our lives. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Harry, on February 15th. He is so much more than we could have ever asked for. It’s been amazing to take this time to bond as a new family and we are so appreciative to the outpouring of love from our friends & family. Everyone has been so helpful and we couldn’t be more thankful.

One of the best decisions we made prior to having Harry was to find a photographer to document his birth & newborn photos. We were so lucky to find Lane Proffitt Photography. These images are priceless and we are so unbelievably grateful to have them. Lane, you are such an amazing talent and we couldn’t have found a better person to have document this special time in our lives.
