The Easter Bunny is making an egg-citing return to Chandler for the City’s 31st annual Family Easter Celebration. Come out to the Snedigar Sportsplex for all the fun!

Admission is FREE!!!

In addition to the egg hunts there will be information booths, displays, and interactive amusements. There will be minimal charges for some interactive children’s activities and photos with the Easter Bunny, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Trulia Price Monitor and Burns Home Value indices, the first of which is brand new, attempt to gauge real-time price trends by using home prices set at or prior to the beginning of home purchase transactions, not at their conclusion.
Trulia, which is a real estate information and listings service website, leverages its database of listings to accomplish this goal by, first, tracking the most-recent asking prices on listed properties.

It then adjusts those prices for changes in the mix of properties, in order to show price trends for similar homes in similar neighborhoods.

Arizona State University and the city of Chandler are joining forces to convert a 32,600-square-foot city building into a technology-innovation center.

Gilbert Homes for Sale – Zip Codes 85233, 85234, 85296, 85295, 85297 85298 is a post from: Phoenix Area Specialists

December 2011, the City of Scottsdale acquired approximately 4,419 acres of land from the Arizona State Land Department.  The land was purchased at public auctions and the acquired properties will be permanently protected from development as part of the City of Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

The total purchase price for the 4,419 acres, including fees was approximately $88 million.  With these acquisitions, Scottsdale has established an important wildlife corridor by connecting approximately 13,000 acres of land in the McDowell Mountains to approximately 4,000 acres north of Dynamite Boulevard purchased in previous years.  Those two separate areas total about 17,000 acres.  Add to this the additional 4,419 acres, for a current total of protected Preserve lands of approximately 21,400 acres.  The ultimate goal is to expand the preserve to about 34,000 acres, nearly a third of the city’s land area.

The preserve land acquired in December, 2011 includes rolling topography with exposed bedrock, boulder outcrops, portions of Fraesfield Mountain, Rock Knob, Cone Mountain, Granite Mountain, Cholla Mountain, and upper Sonoran Desert vegetation including Rawhide Wash and a number of other large washes housing abundant wildlife.

The Preserve encompasses the McDowell Mountains, where recent discoveries are causing geologists to rethink how this region formed and evolved. New trails and amenities are bringing Scottsdale’s “mountains of discovery” closer to residents and visitors. Check them out!
