Sometimes when I drive to the beach on a whim these days, in my new home of San Diego, I do the Carrie Bradshaw twirl and say to the sky "Hello, I live here". La Jolla is obviously an incredible place to live. I have always imagined living within 10 minutes of the beach (living in LA I practically never saw the ocean!) and it's funny how you can manifest things- the thought has come full circle!

Parts of me knows I have been here for like a whole 5 minutes, but it still doesn't feel quite like home. However, there are so many cool & creative Californians who live nearby, I finally tried one of my bucket list check points of trying roller derby (!!!), and I am getting more me-time than ever before! Life is good!
AAAAND- I finally found a Mexican Food restaurant that rivals Arizona Mex, and my sisters are coming out to visit next week for two Haim concerts! For the record we are making jackets for the occasion and I have never been more excited for a new costume! Gratitude!

I have taken a few months for me and you know what? I kind of missed this space! Who knew!? I am going to switching things up and although I don't think I will change the name..... San Diego is haute too! I will be sharing my pursuit of cool here in the whale's you know what.
