The Lotus Temple in New Delhi on a wonderful winter morning. Originally known as the "Bahá'í Mashriqu'l-Adhkar", but popularly known as the "Lotus Temple" due to its shape, this temple is surely a place to visit for every tourist coming to New Delhi. Few temples radiate the atmosphere of sublimity, peace, and calm so necessary to elevate a devotee spiritually than this place of worship. Karni Mata @ Deshnok, Bikaner

A pic of the Karni Mata deity in the famous Karni Mata temple of Deshnok, Bikaner. The temple is world famous for its numerous rats (Kabbas) - the only temple in the world where rats are worshipped. Amphitheatre @ Neemrana Fort Palace, Rajasthan

A view of amphitheatre at Neemrana Fort Palace, Rajasthan. It is a 14th century hill fort which is around 120 kms from Delhi on Delhi-Jaipur highway and is now a luxury hotel. It is very hit with tourists coming to India and runs nearly full during peak season. Best time to visit is late October to late March. If you like monsoon and travelling in it, then this place looks wonderful during monsoon months of July to September. You can make a day trip to the fort as well.

Scenic sunrise at Bhimtal. Bhimtal is a small little place in the Kumaon region of Himalayas - a wonderful place for having a quiet vacation. It is around 20 kms from Kathgodam (nearest railway station).

Misty Mussoorie Morning

The hills around Mussoorie as seen on a beautiful Mussoorie morning. Mussoorie is a wonderful hill station in the foothills of the Himalayan range in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Best time to visit is around March-end to April-end - you will not find much tourist and the hotel rates would also be reasonable. The rates shoot up a lot during the summer season (May-July) and the place is also full of tourists. Do take a beautiful nature walk known as "Camel's Back Road" in Mussoorie. This road takes its name from mountain outcrop in the shape of a camel's hump.

As per his observation over the past decade, before and after poornima (full moon night) near holi (the Indian festival of colors), the spectacular moon rise is visible and it appears very much coloured on Holi night.

A wonderful view of Naukuchiatal lake water and mountains surrounding it. Naukuchiatal (literally meaning "lake with nine corners") is quite a big lake in the Nainital district, supposedly the largest natural lake in that area.
