Colours Summer 2009 Event

I don't normally promote events on my site. However a friend is taking part in Colours Summer Music and Art Show. It's being hosted at the Vallarta Grill on Water Street. If you are into Art and Latin and Tribal House music it should be a good time.

Vanoc or the Vancouver Olympic Committee hosts free tours of the Richmond Skating Oval. It's definitely something worth seeing. The architecture is splendid, and there are angles everywhere for photographers. Plus on a hot day, its really cold inside the building. The building can host 2 hockey games, speed skating and a track and field event at the same time. I'll be posting a gallery of the oval and of Queen Elizabeth Park this weekend.
