But just enough that i can get by with. Im making a list of all the lens , flashs & other things that i think are anecessary for the basics of photography! Well in my areas! Which are for right now nature & people / events but i would like to widen my areas of photography though. But as far as this goes im gonna have to but this on hold or pause. I will just use the basic lens that i already have which are a 18-55mm &55-200mm. Im doing a whole lot of things at this present time. Like surfing in which in setting up a surf group in my church & well i have to get the necessary surfing equipment for that & in the mist of that im trying to build my on do jahng which is practice hall for kuk sool won - korean martial arts.

Devastating Moments / Events

When there is EVER a emergency vehicle outside like a fire trunk or anything like that. Its time to take out your Digital SLR camera & just have fun shooting the emergency vehicle ! Learn by using different settings on your DSLR but at the same time be creative!! If its at nite time then you would need a tripod for sure! Cause the less light there is outside the longer the shutter is going to stay open & process the picture!!!
Plus remember that u very rarely see an emergency vehicle on your street!!!

Stuck Without a Camera

There were three times or more that I have been in places where I saw some amazing cloud formations but I didn’t have a camera with me. It doesn’t look like we are going to have fireworks this yr. Which I know most all photographers love to shoot fireworks well most all of them do. It gives us practice on when to click the wireless remote or corded remote when the fireworks go off when we don’t even know when they will set each one off!. Im kinda down cause of that is being forcasted for 4th of July!!! Its only the 2nd time that I would have been shooting fireworks!!!!

Photography Website

Doing the out-line of the whole website wasn’t hard at all it was easy as cake! LOL
I read up on this one photographer’s website that u have to have another things on your website so that you don’t lose your (I guess) clients / future clients or guest but then I did some more research & found out if u want a professional looking website u can’t have all that extra stuff up there. I want a professional looking website for my photography ! I have built a website before so I don’t think its going to be hard since I have done it before. Its just that I have never built a professional photography website before. But all I can do is try right? I guess if I get feedback from friends I can always go in there & change it. Its not like its set in stone or anything. The only challenge im going to face is the flash & right now im debating on either or not to have flash on my whole website but for sure I’ll have flash galleries & just really like them! I did a Google search on professional photographers websites & to my surprise the majority of them where flash!!!
This is going to be soo much fun for me to build this website!!!

Lighting Storm

I had a chance to photograph a other element which I never tacked before. It all started when I was in my Kuk Sool Won class & I was deciding what to do when I got home. Even though I was very tried from going through that class which as sparring & grappling that nite. I was soo excited that I had this opportunity . Immediately when I got home & dashed from my car to my room changed cloths as fast as lighting gripped my DSLR & my tripod & the wireless remote & hurried outside where. There wasn’t any real severe threat of bad weather. I set up my tripod & got the camera on it & tried to start shooting but I didn’t have much luck at all! All I captured was the sky lite up by the lighting blot & not the lighting blot that I was trying to get! I guess we have to all start somewhere before we are masters of this one element or get experience to actually know what to do & what not to do – safety wise as well as what settings to put the camera into.

Not A Big Fan

I love photography its my thing don't get me wrong but im not a really BIG fan of posting my very good photograhs on the interent! so that some one could steel them!!! Snow isn't something you see a whole lot down here in Texas ! The last time it snowed was in DEC 24Th 04!!! So i took this opportunity to sharpen my skills within photography. I was outside for an hour & 30 mins & i finished photographing the snow outside my figures felt as if they were going to fall off any second now!!! lol . I got the chance to see how my Digital SLR worked / survived in the harsh weather!!! It was like in the low 30s but knowing me i'm kinda use to that type of weather for i used to live up north in pittsbrugh pa but of course i started to get a little bit of home sick!!! I learn the every next nite how to photograph an event in that type of weather but there wasn't any snow falling from the sky & it wasn't as cold ever. On the nite that i did photograph an event outside it was in the lower 40s but it was still cold but get experience too!! So if i do have to do something like this again i know what to do!!!!

End of summer & the begin of fall

Well today was actually still summer intill 4:18pm Central Time. The last remaining hours - minutes & seconds of summer was nothing but raining!!! OMG!!!
This( fall Season) gives me the opportunity to try new techniques since i was use to the summer soo much!! But the one thing im going to hate is when we fall back in time & it gets dark @ 6pm but then again it gives me another opportunity to practice my twilight / night photography!!
ISn't it more overcast days in fall & winter or is it just in winter?
I wish i still lived up north in Pittsburgh PA ( my home town) cause the leaves turn beautiful colors up there vs. down here in texas your lucky if u get any leaves to have change into color!

Remembering That Day

Photography is what I love to do. It’s a passion of mine. There is not right or wrong way for it to be done.
For you are the artist behind the camera that simply takes the pictures in which direction you put it in.
I remember the day when God told me this is another gift of yours & I replied back Lord I can’t draw or paint let alone do photography but whatever your plan is for my gift let it be done until you o lord! Im starting to get that creative eye in the nite photography area. I just like how the trees look like at nite for some reason. But I do have to admit something. Im not very patient on waiting intill I see the photograph that I took on the camera screen. That’s just something I have to work on lol!!!

Photography Name

I'm doing good with pretty much everything for right now. But the only thing that I'm actually struggling with is coming up with a photography name! OMG! i though it was going to be easy! but its not!!! Its like i want a catchy and a unique name but at the same time i want it to sound very professional cause i don't know if God is going to take me into the profession of a professional photographer? People , friends , family memebers have given me ideas of names.
Even one that God has given to that person told me the name but i don't really like it. i have read up on how to figure out a photography name. There are rules like :

1. keep it small not a long name.
2. make it so that people could remember it not a lot of numbers & letters together.
3. have it searchable - so that search engines like Bing / google / ask / could pick it up when someone is searching the Internet.

Its like I'm doing all this work all at once:
1. rough drafting the whole photography website out on paper
2. trying to come up with a name
3. can't make a e-mail in till i figure out what the name is that also goes for the web site's name or URL.
then trying to research on different things that I'm worried & trying to get a solid answer to the questions that are worrying me to death! lol
Also well as researching on how different professional photographers websites looks & deciding on the design that i will be using or coming up with one that looks professional but at the same time it would reflect my style! Hopefully after a decide on all of this i would make the website! yea!

circular polarizer filter

The one current thing I'm tackling with is the circular polarizer filter. Yesterday i decided to try it out so I took my Digital SLR outside with that filter on it & i did OK but not what i though i could do with it.
