It’s almost seems like you might find an old photo of a young Steve Jobs or Woz back in the day using a sleeve case like this if they had just invented the MacBook laptops a few years earlier.

The exterior of the sleeve (in top photo) is made from a basket weave canvas materials. The interior of the sleeve is lined with a very warm and fuzzy polyester sherpa fleece. It certainly will keep your MacBook Pro or MacBook protected with it’s woolly feel.

The Colcasac sleeve doesn’t have any handles or shoulder straps so it’s best designed for added protection in your brief case, shoulder bag or backpack. It wouldn’t be great for carrying any long distances by itself.

Ok, Why do I need a case like this? The 20" and 24" models are gone, replaced by 21.5" and 27" iMacs with a true 16 x 9 HD aspect ratio. It's also obvious that Apple intends for the new iMacs to end up on the desktops of a lot of designers, since the line now includes the first quad-core iMac ever.

The pricing for the iMac line starts at the same US$1199, but that's where the similarities stop. The displays are now backlit by LEDs, providing better energy efficiency. The 21.5" model has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is the equivalent of a 1080p HDTV. That screen size is actually 90% of the resolution of the old 24" iMac. Where is the metadata (information that’s automatically added to the digital image when you take the photograph) when you need it? We had Minolta point-and-shoot and SLR (single lens reflex) cameras at that time. I always loved shooting photographs at an early age especially the Dodgers. Those box seats cost $3.50, $2.50 for the next level up and $1.50 for general admission which were the bleachers and top level.

My favorites were the twi-night doubleheaders, as I started going to more games as I got older. Nothing was better than getting to the ball park around four in the afternoon and watching two games in a night. Many times it didn’t end until after midnight. That’s the last time the Dodgers had a sweep in a post-season series until this year against the Cubs.

During the series, the Dodgers only gave up four runs. They had an amazing pitching rotation of Sandy Koufax, Johnny Podres and Don Drysdale. The starting staff was so good, Dodgers’ relief pitcher Ron Perranoski made one appearance, only needing to get two outs.

Koufax, who was the MVP of the series, pitched two complete games in the series, games one and four.
