For the past few days Lebanon has been going through a very tough storm - great for pictures. I didn&#39;t risk going out but still reached exceptional results from behind my window. In the first picture I used a slow shutter speed to capture lightning. Beirut and the lightning are isolated in the corner by the darkness. The second picture is of the rain drops on my window.

A trip to Ehden had proven to be quite fruitful for me as a photographer. There were many animal related stories that crossed our paths on the way up. First of all, we mistook a turtle as a rock on the road to the reserve. A minute later, it found itself being gently put to the side of the road. I recently went on a trip to Ain Zhalta and El Barouk so as to take pictures within their nature reserves during sunrise. After I arrived I learned that the reserves open at 10a.m. Disappointed I decided to take pictures outside of the reserves. I was surprised to find so much beauty.



I underexposed this shot so as to make the sun seem cornered or alone.

A grocery store is a very good place for photography. Some of this particular grocery store&#39;s products are wild. The dominance of one unique color in almost every photo makes these shots special.

I found this bumblebee while walking around. The purple flower it landed on made it a perfect place to take pictures of. The contrast between yellow and purple, and the late sunset light made the colors perfect.

This shot may not seem very interesting in it&#39;s normal size that is why I added a cropped version of it below. It is a star that I took a picture of using a zoom lens. I fastened my camera onto a tripod and made the shutter speed 30 seconds. I am not sure if it really is a shooting star or if this photo is the result of camera shake. I&#39;ll leave that to you to decide upon. I  recently went on a trip to Faqra, a touristic site in Lebanon were there are ruins and a natural bridge. I decided to go there early and take pictures of the bridge at sunrise. Unfortunately I couldn&#39;t reach the natural bridge, instead while trying to get to the bridge I discovered that the landscape was beautiful and so here are the landscape shots.

Both shots were staged. Both strawberries were on the plate. I was aiming for a simple picture of the small strawberries. The rim of the plate was detailed and full of different colors so I covered it up with a few tissues. If you look closely you can see the shadows of the tissues on the plate since the main source of light was from above.

This is a picture of a plant with sharp leaves. On the underside of it&#39;s leaves I found some sort of fungus or parasite which was making the plant sick. I chose to take a photo of this using macro to get up close. Both these photos are of the same sunset. The first is underexposed keeping the sea dark and the ship hidden. Although in the second, the picture is correctly exposed revealing the ship. If you look at the first photo closely enough (just click on it to get a larger view) you can see an airplane near the right side of the sun.
